Chapter 99 - 98

Tel-Rol walked leisurely into the command room he had punched through, hands in his pockets, as if strolling through his own backyard.

He scanned the room, his gaze finally settling on the large blue-skinned man holding a massive hammer.

Ronan.

The Supreme Leader of the Kree Empire's Accuser Corps.

Tel-Rol looked him up and down, and then at the hammer, which was taller than a man.

"You're Ronan?"

He whistled, a mischievous smile on his face.

"You look... quite unique."

"I hear you've been looking for me?"

Ronan's blue face deepened in color with anger, and his warhammer thumped heavily on the ground with a dull thud.

"You're the bastard who killed Tathos?"

His voice was squeezed from his chest, filled with fury.

Tel-Rol, hearing this, didn't get angry; instead, he laughed even harder.

He glanced around at the tense Kree Soldiers in the command room, who were all holding guns, then looked back at Ronan.

"Your vanguard? The blue-skinned guy with the hammer?"

He made a show of trying to remember, then slapped his thigh.

"Oh! I remember now! Too weak, I kicked him away. What? Couldn't take a kick?"

"You're asking for death!"

Ronan roared, and the surrounding Kree Soldiers' ears buzzed from the shout.

Tel-Rol, however, seemed not to hear him, his gaze fixed on Ronan's enormous warhammer.

In the very center of the hammerhead, a purple gem was embedded.

That gem glowed faintly, emitting a vast and unsettling energy.

"Oh, your hammer is diamond-studded?"

Tel-Rol raised an eyebrow, his flippancy receding somewhat, "Looks quite valuable."

Though he was still joking, he could feel that the power contained within that purple gem was far from simple.

"Enough talk!"

Ronan was extremely enraged by Tel-Rol's disregard.

Tel-Rol shrugged and casually raised a hand towards Ronan.

"Then let's see."

A solid energy blast shot from his palm, heading straight for Ronan's face.

Ronan's face was full of disdain; he raised his warhammer with one hand, and the purple gem on the hammerhead glowed brightly.

He barely even used any force, just a simple sweep.

"Buzz—"

The warhammer, trailing a purple energy trajectory, precisely struck the energy blast.

That energy blast, powerful enough to pierce a warship's hull, was actually batted away!

The energy blast changed direction, slamming diagonally into another wall of the command room, adding another vent to the spaceship.

Ronan looked at Tel-Rol contemptuously.

"With your paltry skills, you dare kill my men?"

Tel-Rol's smile grew wider.

"Interesting."

He twisted his neck, producing a 'crack crack' sound.

"Alright, I'm in a bit of a hurry today, so I won't play with you slowly."

No sooner had he spoken than a powerful aura erupted from Tel-Rol's body.

"Zzzzt... Zzzzt..."

All the electronic screens in the command room began to flicker wildly, their signals severely disrupted, until they all exploded with a "bang."

The surrounding Soldiers were pushed back repeatedly by the surging aura.

Golden energy flared up from his body, enveloping him entirely.

His originally black short hair instantly turned dazzling golden-yellow and stood on end.

His originally blue eyes also turned a sharp emerald green.

His entire aura was completely different from moments ago.

Ronan's contemptuous expression receded.

The power of the man before him was surging at a terrifying speed, and the pressure made his hand, gripping the warhammer, involuntarily tighten.

"Aren't you a Kryptonian?"

"That's none of your business."

Ronan stopped wasting words, gripping his warhammer tightly with both hands, pushing the power of the purple gem on its head to its limit!

"Ah ah ah ah!"

He let out a roar, stomping his foot hard, leaving two deep imprints on the tough alloy floor.

His massive body transformed into a bolt of lightning, instantly rushing before Tel-Rol.

The giant hammer in his hand, imbued with destructive purple energy, slammed down fiercely towards Tel-Rol's head!

This single blow was enough to smash a small asteroid into dust!

Tel-Rol raised one hand, preparing to take the hit.

But just as the warhammer was about to make contact with his palm, the energy of the purple gem on its head suddenly surged!

"Hm?"

Tel-Rol's eyes narrowed, and the hand he was using to catch the hammer instantly retracted.

His body arched backward at an incredible angle, narrowly dodging the world-destroying hammer blow.

The warhammer almost grazed his nose.

The moment the two crossed paths, Tel-Rol's figure vanished from his original spot.

He reappeared behind Ronan, delivering a devastating whip kick, infused with the power of a Super Saiyan, squarely to Ronan's kidney!

"Bang!"

A dull, thunderous sound.

Ronan's massive body staggered forward from the blow, but he surprisingly endured the kick!

He spun around abruptly, his warhammer sweeping across again.

"Quite durable!"

Tel-Rol advanced instead of retreating, throwing a punch that collided head-on with the warhammer, which glowed with purple light.

"Boom!"

Golden energy and purple power violently clashed, and a powerful shockwave spread out from the two of them as its center.

The entire command room was instantly leveled!

The Kree Soldiers in the command room were directly blown out of the spaceship by this force.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the kree warship.

Diana Prince, wielding the shield of strength and the sword of vulcan, wore red and blue armor, her bronze-colored short skirt appearing even more seductive and playful.

As soon as she approached the warship, she was engulfed by dense energy cannon fire.

"Clang clang clang clang!"

She wielded her shield, blocking every energy beam shot at her.

"Your hospitality is truly rude."

Diana's voice was cold, then her figure flickered, and she rushed into the breach in the warship.

In the corridor, a squad of Kree Soldiers saw her and immediately raised their weapons and fired.

Diana didn't pause for a moment, the sword of vulcan in her hand tracing elegant arcs in the air.

As the sword light flashed, several Kree Soldiers were cut in half on the spot, not even having time to scream.

Blood stained the cold metal passageway.

More Kree Soldiers surged from all directions; they were fearless, unleashing a furious barrage of firepower at Diana.

"For the Empire!"

Diana's eyes showed no ripple of emotion; she was like an elegant yet deadly killing machine.

Every swing of her sword took several lives.

Every shield bash shattered enemies' bones.

She moved as if through an empty realm.

At this moment, in the heart of New York City, battle had fully erupted.

The kree warship's bottom opened countless hatches, and thousands of small spacecraft, like a swarm of locusts, rushed towards the bustling metropolis.

"Open fire!"

The Kree Soldiers on the spacecraft began indiscriminate attacks on the streets and buildings.

Explosions and screams echoed one after another, and the peaceful city instantly transformed into a battlefield.

"j.a.r.v.i.s., lock onto those leading the destruction!"

Iron Man Tony Stark flew at high speed through the air, his shoulder-mounted missile launchers opening, and small tracking missiles whizzed out, accurately shooting down one spacecraft after another.

"Captain, three o'clock direction, a building is about to collapse!"

Captain America Steve Rogers' voice sounded in the communication channel.

He was on the ground evacuating people, using his vibranium shield to block falling debris.

"Hulk! Smash!"

With a roar, a giant green figure descended from the sky, crashing heavily onto a kree ground vehicle, directly flattening it into a metal pancake.

Red lightning streaked through the streets; Barry Allen, at a speed imperceptible to the naked eye, brought civilians in danger to safety one by one.

"Hey, big guy, try this!"

Hal Jordan manifested a giant fist with his green lantern ring, smashing several spacecraft to smithereens with a single blow.

Sky, ground, everywhere was battle.

The heroes of the Avengers, the Justice League, and the X-Men who had rushed from Xavier's School, were all fighting to protect this city.

New York became the frontline where two worlds collided.
