Ficool

Chapter 50 - 49

Inside the quinjet, Tony looked at the city below, which had detached from the ground and was slowly ascending, and he was completely stunned.

"He actually did it."

"This madman!"

Ultron's electronic voice was still broadcasting over the public channel, full of self-proclaiming arrogance.

"I am the prelude to the new world."

Tel-Rol pressed his face against the window, his eyes shining.

"It's flying! It's really flying!"

He turned his head, looking at Tony with excitement.

"Can we prepare to catch it now?"

"I've already thought of my pose!"

Tony suddenly turned around, pointing at Tel-Rol's nose.

"Catch your big head!"

"Shut up! If you mention this again, I'll throw you out of here!"

Steve's steady voice rang out, interrupting Tony, who was on the verge of exploding.

"Prepare for action."

"Tony, prepare to open the hatch."

The hatch at the rear of the cabin slowly opened, and a strong wind instantly rushed in, making it impossible to open one's eyes.

The ground of Sokovia rapidly receded in their view; the entire city had already risen hundreds of meters into the sky.

On the streets, countless robot soldiers were firing at the panicked crowd, the sound of explosions and screams merging into a single cacophony.

"We have to be fast!"

Clint notched an arrow.

Just then, Bruce Banner, who had been sitting silently in the corner, stood up.

His face was a little green, and his breathing became heavy.

Natasha walked over to him, her voice very soft.

"Hey, big guy."

"Time for work."

Dr. Banner closed his eyes in pain and nodded.

The next second, his body began to swell, and his skin rapidly turned green.

"Roar!"

A deafening roar echoed through the cabin!

Hulk didn't even wait for the others to react, directly leaping out of the open hatch like a green cannonball!

"Boom!"

He heavily smashed onto a floating rock at the edge of the city, flattening several robots that were about to fire.

Then, he grabbed a robot and, like playing with a toy, tore it in half.

Tony whistled.

"The big green guy's got quite a temper today."

Just then, the sky suddenly darkened.

A colorful beam of light descended from the sky, slamming heavily not far from Hulk, shaking the ground.

As the light dissipated, a blond strong man, wielding a war hammer and draped in a red cape, appeared before everyone.

Thor.

He looked around, his brows tightly furrowed.

"How many days have I been gone?"

"And you've managed to cause such a huge commotion?"

"And let a tin can try to become a god?"

His voice came through Tony's comms channel.

"Hey, Blondie, you finally made it."

"The party's just starting, plenty of robots to go around, help yourself."

Thor's gaze swept across the battlefield, finally landing on Tel-Rol inside the quinjet.

"He's here too?"

He could feel the vast and wild energy within him.

Tel-Rol was also looking him up and down, stroking his chin.

"Hi, Blondie, Tony said you're my sparring partner."

"After this is over, let's have a good fight."

"Can your hammer flatten that biggest tin can down there?"

Thor looked at Tel-Rol, who had just kicked away a kree, his eyes filled with fighting spirit.

"Alright! Let's try."

Steve's voice interrupted their friendly exchange.

"Everyone! Stop chatting!"

"Our mission is to evacuate civilians and stop Ultron!"

"Avengers! Move out!"

As his voice fell, Steve was the first to jump down, shield in hand.

Clint and Natasha followed closely.

Pietro glanced at Wanda, and the next second, a silver lightning bolt appeared on the street below, robots along the way being scattered by his impact.

Wanda took a deep breath, and crimson energy enveloped her body as she slowly descended.

Tony shouted at Tel-Rol, who was the last one left in the cabin.

"Hey! Muscle-brain! What are you still staring for? Get down there and get to work!"

Tel-Rol, however, completely ignored him.

His eyes were fixed on the ancient church in the city center, where Ultron was located.

To him, the surrounding robots were like buzzing flies, annoying.

"These small fries, I'll leave them to you."

He stretched his neck, making a cracking sound.

"That tin can who calls himself a god, he's mine."

With that, he didn't even bother to look at Tony again, his entire body ignited with white qi flames, and he shot out of the cabin.

He headed straight for the city center.

On the ground, the battle had fully erupted.

Steve's shield flew up and down, each throw precisely knocking down a row of robots, clearing a safe path for civilians.

"This way! Quick! Follow me!"

Clint's explosive arrows detonated in the densest areas of robots, sending flames soaring.

Natasha's figure weaved through the robots; with every flash of her "Widow's Bite," a robot would be paralyzed on the ground.

Hulk was the most direct bulldozer; he grabbed two robots by their legs, using them as flails, charging through everything, nothing able to stop him for a second.

Thor summoned heavenly lightning, thick bolts of lightning descending from the sky, incinerating large numbers of robots.

He and Tony worked in perfect coordination, one responsible for large-scale clearing, the other for precise targeted kills.

The Maximoff siblings also became an undeniable force on the battlefield.

Pietro's speed was so fast that the robots couldn't lock onto him; he moved through the battlefield, specifically attacking robots that were about to attack civilians.

Wanda hovered in mid-air, her hands glowing with intense red light.

"All of you, get out of my way!"

Crimson chaos magic erupted, and dozens of surrounding robots were twisted into pretzels by an invisible force.

The entirety of Sokovia had become a massive battlefield.

And the instigator of it all, Ultron, stood in the center of the church, coldly observing everything through countless eyes.

His vibranium body reflected a cold light in the dim church.

"Futile struggle."

"You are protecting a species destined for obsolescence."

Just then.

"Boom!!!"

The dome of the church was forcefully smashed through by something.

Debris and dust flew everywhere.

Tel-Rol dropped through the large hole, standing before Ultron.

He brushed off the dust from his body, looked up, and grinned.

"Excuse me for interrupting your grandstanding."

Ultron's electronic eyes flickered red, scanning the man before him.

"Anomaly Data 01."

"Tel-Rol."

"Your structure, your energy signature, all exceed my comprehension."

"I am very curious, what would I gain if I took you apart?"

Tel-Rol tilted his head, his smile growing wider.

"Coincidentally."

"I'm curious too."

He cracked his knuckles, making popping sounds.

"What exactly is inside after I peel off your turtle shell."

"Come on, god."

"Let me see if you're worthy of that title."
