Vegeta slammed his fist into the ground.

Even Piccolo, who usually remained calm and composed, was now frowning deeply, silent.

A loud, irritable roar cut straight through the despair.
Old Kai stopped his seizure-like "ceremonial dance," planted his hands on his hips, and glared at everyone.
"Why are you all acting like the world has already ended?!"
"The sky hasn't fallen yet!"
"Ancestor…"
Supreme Kai spoke with a trembling voice.
"Didn't… didn't you see it? Majin Buu… he's become even more terrifying…"
"So what if I saw it?"
Old Kai snorted, clearly unimpressed.
"He just got a bit stronger. Is that really enough to scare you all senseless?"
He cleared his throat proudly.
"I, your ancestor, still have a trump card!"
Those words instantly snapped everyone's attention to him.
"A trump card?"
Hope reignited in Goku's eyes.
"Ancestor, do you have another way?"
"Of course."
Old Kai stroked his long white beard, looking mysterious.
His gaze slowly swept over everyone before stopping on Gohan.
"First, I'll finish unlocking this kid's hidden potential."
He pondered for a moment.
"Normally, it would take another five hours."
"But given the urgency, I'll speed things up."
With that, he resumed his stance and barked at Gohan.
"Kid! Sit still!"
"The ritual continues!"
Gohan took a deep breath, his eyes turning resolute.
Old Kai's movements suddenly accelerated.
He formed a strange hand seal and pressed it firmly onto Gohan's head.
"Hmph!"
Boom—!
A mighty white surge of ki erupted from Gohan's body!
"This… this ki…"
Shock replaced the surprise on Goku's face.
It had already surpassed Super Saiyan Two.

It was far beyond that.
"Impossible!"
Vegeta blurted out.
"How could he get this strong all at once?!"
Even Piccolo was visibly shaken.
At last, the overwhelming white ki slowly receded.
Everything returned to calm.
Gohan opened his eyes.
His appearance hadn't changed at all, but his strength had undergone a world-shaking transformation.
His gaze swept across everyone, finally stopping on Loren.
"Master."
A faint smile appeared on Loren's face.
"Not bad."
"Well done, Gohan!"
Goku rushed over, excitedly patting his son's shoulder, pride written all over his face.
"Cough… cough…"
Old Kai slumped to the ground, gasping for breath.
After resting for a moment, he raised his hand, palm facing upward.
Hum—
A pair of softly glowing earrings appeared in his palm.
"What are those?" Goku asked curiously.
"These are the Supreme Kai's greatest treasures—Potara Earrings!"
"As long as two people wear one each, they can instantly fuse into a brand-new, incredibly powerful warrior!"
"Fusion?!"
Goku's eyes lit up.
"Yes!"
Old Kai grew more animated as he spoke.
"The power after fusion isn't one plus one!"
"It's the strongest multiplied by the strongest!"
His gaze moved back and forth between Goku and Vegeta—
and finally settled on Loren, who was still lying lazily on the grass.
This man's strength was unfathomable.
If he fused with Son Goku…
"Kid!"
Old Kai pointed straight at Loren.
"You! And that one named Son Goku!"
"You two fuse!"
"With your combined power, let alone that pink fat monster—even destruction itself—!"
"Forget it, no need to exaggerate!"
"Anyway, with fusion, Majin Buu will be trivial!"
All eyes instantly turned to Loren.
Goku looked at him with pure excitement.
"Loren! That's a great idea! If we fuse, we'll be unbelievably strong!"
Vegeta's face darkened instantly.
Again… Loren.
Why is it always him?
Was he, Vegeta, the Prince of all Saiyans, destined to always stand aside?
Under everyone's expectant gazes—

"I don't need to share it with anyone."
"You… you brat!!"
Old Kai's beard bristled with rage.
"Do you even understand the situation we're in right now?!"
"I do."
Loren finally opened his eyes and glanced at the furious Old Kai.
"That's exactly why I'm choosing the most effortless solution."
"Fusion is the most effortless solution!" Old Kai roared.
"No."
Loren shook his head calmly.
"For me, fusion is just a minor trick."
"You guys can fuse if you want."
Compared to the rewards from the system, what was fusion worth?
At that moment—
A light screen that only Loren could see silently unfolded before his eyes.
[Ding! Detected key plot branch: Warrior Fusion!]
[God-level selection triggered. Please make your choice, Host.]
Loren's lips curved slightly.
