On the control panel screen, the light points representing Burter and Jeice's life signals violently flickered and then, without warning, fell completely silent—along with Recoome's.
Three light points, disappearing at almost the exact same time, dimmed forever.
"Bastard!"
A rare distortion twisted Captain Ginyu's purple face.
The Ginyu Force had just lost three members, and the moves Ginyu had been preparing for days were now completely useless.
"Recoome, Burter, Jeice… they… they were all taken out!"
Beside Ginyu, the sole surviving Guldo's four eyes widened in terror. His small body trembled uncontrollably.
That was the Ginyu Force—their proud comrades who had run rampant across the universe—and they were taken out in such a short time…

Frieza let out an elegant laugh.
"It seems a rather formidable, and rather foolish, mouse has arrived on Namek."
"Lord Frieza!"
Ginyu spun around abruptly, dropping to one knee, unable to suppress his rage.

"And while you're at it, let me see how much that overconfident mouse is truly worth."
"Yes, sir!"
Captain Ginyu stood up sharply and barked an order to the stunned Guldo beside him:
"Guldo, let's go!"
Two streaks of light shot into the sky, carrying intense killing intent as they flew swiftly toward the location where the energy had vanished.
Son Goku looked at the ravaged battlefield and the horrifying wounds on Krillin and the others, his expression grave.
He quickly pulled out a small cloth bag from his clothes and poured out a few emerald-green Senzu Beans.
"Quick, eat this."
"Luckily we have Senzu Beans. Otherwise, injuries like these would take a long time to heal."
Krillin and Gohan swallowed the Senzu Beans without hesitation, and soon, their injuries were completely healed.
Goku then took out another Senzu Bean and walked up to the Saiyan Prince, who was leaning against a rock, barely breathing.
Vegeta slowly lifted his head, his eyes complex as he looked at the low-class warrior named Kakarot.
"Take it."
Goku held out the Senzu Bean.

Near-death recovery. A massive increase in combat power.
This was the Saiyan trait.
"Hm? Someone else is coming."
Son Goku suddenly looked up, his eyes sharp, staring into the distant sky.
Two powerful and terrifying auras were rapidly approaching at an astonishing speed.
A distant mountain stream.
Loren lazily turned over, finding a comfortable position on a smooth boulder so the sunlight spread evenly across his entire body.
"Hmm… the professionals have finally arrived."
Loren sensed Son Goku's arrival, along with Vegeta's surging ki from his near-death power-up.
"This is good. The strongest 'roll king' is here. I can finally dump this mess on him."
"My afternoon tea time shouldn't be disturbed by any clueless guys anymore…"
Loren hadn't even finished the thought when he sensed two newly appeared powerful energies—filled with killing intent.
One of them was very strong. That should be Captain Ginyu.
Looked like Goku and the others were in big trouble.
Ginyu and Guldo descended onto the battlefield.
"Captain, it's here!"
Ginyu's cold gaze swept across the entire scene and finally landed precisely on Son Goku and Vegeta.
"Oh? Two Saiyans."
"Vegeta… and an unfamiliar guy!"
"So? Which clueless fellow killed my lovely team members?"
The scouter on Ginyu's wrist beeped a few times, finally settling on a number displayed for Son Goku—one he dismissed with contempt.
"Combat power… five thousand?"
Ginyu let out a sneering laugh.
"How did trash of this level defeat Recoome and the others?"
"Guldo, go. Finish it quickly."
"Yes, Captain!"
Guldo grinned savagely and stepped forward, targeting what seemed to be the weakest—Krillin and Gohan.
Then, suddenly, a figure blocked his path.
Son Goku.
"Your opponent is me."
"You're courting death!"
Guldo roared, taking a deep breath as his chest expanded.
"Time Stop!"
The entire world instantly lost all color and sound, falling into an eerie gray stillness.
A cruel and smug smile crossed Guldo's face. He raised his fist and punched toward the unmoving Goku in mid-air.
But the moment his fist was about to touch Goku—in that brief zero-point-zero-one second—
A hand grasped Guldo's wrist firmly.
Son Goku had moved inside his time-stopping domain.
"H-how is this possible?!"
Guldo's four eyes filled with fear.
"Your speed is too slow."
Bang!
A heavy elbow strike landed squarely in Guldo's soft abdomen.
His body flew back like a broken kite, smashing into a distant rock, completely unconscious.
Krillin and Gohan's mouths hung open, stunned speechless.
Vegeta's fist tightened.
The power and speed Kakarot had just shown… far exceeded his own.
That low-class warrior—whom he once called trash—had actually… truly surpassed him, the proud Saiyan Prince!
"Interesting."
Captain Ginyu finally dropped all contempt as he walked forward, stretching his wrists and neck, bones popping loudly.
"It seems you've been hiding considerable strength."
"However, in front of me, Captain Ginyu, all your struggles are futile."
Ginyu suddenly stopped, striking his flamboyant signature pose.
"Now… let me show you what true power is!"
