Chapter 76 - Chapter 75: A Trip to Yardrat — Taking Bulma Away

Planet Namek.

Edge of the battlefield.

As the aftermath of the explosion fully dissipated, Vegeta's aura slowly receded. He exhaled lightly.

"It's over."

With those words, he turned and flew toward the spaceship.

He did not revert from his Super Saiyan state.

Naturally.

He wanted to stimulate Kakarot, to let him feel it up close—so he could break through as soon as possible.

With Kakarot's talent, Vegeta believed it wouldn't take long.

Facing Vegeta's Super Saiyan form at such close range, everyone was stunned. For most of them, this was the first time they had witnessed it in person.

Of course, that excluded the former Frieza Force elites, who had already seen Vegeta fight Frieza.

At this moment, Son Goku didn't know how to describe what he was feeling. Only one thought remained in his mind:

I must become a Super Saiyan.

That golden hair, those blue eyes, and that overwhelming power struck straight into his soul.

Seeing it in person was completely different from viewing the Grand Elder's memory images.

Only now did he truly understand what he lacked—his understanding of Super Saiyan was still shallow.

"King Cold is dead. The crisis on Namek is resolved," Vegeta said calmly, glancing toward King Cold's spaceship on a nearby island.

"For a while, there won't be any more trouble."

The spaceship was already lifting off.

Clearly, the crew had realized King Cold was dead—and that staying meant certain death.

Just like Frieza's elites back then.

Unfortunately for them, Vegeta had no need for them—and no intention of keeping them alive.

Frieza's subordinates had value and had proven it.

King Cold's subordinates were different. Vegeta didn't know them, and King Cold's army wasn't the same as Frieza's.

Vegeta raised his hand.

An energy blast condensed instantly.

Everyone realized what he was about to do.

The beam struck.

King Cold's spaceship was obliterated midair, shattered into fragments. The elites inside were annihilated without exception.

Only after eliminating the last foreign invaders did Vegeta finally revert from Super Saiyan.

He looked straight at Kakarot.

"I'll be waiting for the day you break through and become a Super Saiyan," Vegeta said coldly.

"Don't disappoint me again, Kakarot."

With that, he turned and left.

Teach Kakarot the transformation directly?

No.

Kakarot had to walk that path himself.

As Vegeta departed, his elite subordinates immediately followed. Vegeta was now their master—where he went, they went.

After witnessing King Cold's ship being destroyed with no survivors, they were deeply shaken.

They were fortunate they had proven useful.

From now on, they wouldn't dare slack off.

To survive, they had to give everything.

As Vegeta had said: the era of Emperor Frieza was over.

Even King Cold, the former Emperor, had been killed without hesitation.

Inside the Spaceship

Vegeta headed toward the command room while communicating with his subordinates.

The topic was simple: travel time.

"How long will it take to reach Planet Yardrat?" Vegeta asked.

Yardrat—the planet where Kakarot had learned Instant Transmission.

In the original timeline, it had been the Ginyu Force's next invasion target before they were summoned to Namek.

Now, the plot had completely changed.

For Vegeta, Yardrat was a must-visit.

Instant Transmission was a skill he absolutely needed.

This Vegeta was not bound by pointless pride. He wouldn't reject a powerful technique just because it was once Kakarot's.

In the original timeline, even after learning it in the Super era, he had only used it once.

That was unacceptable.

Not knowing Instant Transmission would be a massive disadvantage in the future.

Originally, Vegeta had planned to learn it through Porunga, but after careful consideration, he decided to go to Yardrat himself.

As for whether the Yardratians would teach him?

He wasn't worried at all.

Not only would he prevent their invasion by the Frieza Force, but Yardratians were known to be peaceful and friendly.

Based on Vegeta's understanding—and on the fact that Kakarot had later learned Forced Spirit Fission from them—the Yardratians were clearly open to teaching outsiders.

"Based on our current cruising speed," Hera, the mushroom-headed alien in charge, reported, "it will take fourteen days to reach Planet Yardrat."

"Fourteen days…" Vegeta muttered.

It was acceptable.

Long, but not excessive.

He had originally assumed it would only take five or six days.

If it really took fourteen days, then Kakarot had truly been lucky not to starve to death while drifting in Ginyu's ship back then.

After all, Kakarot had zero experience piloting a Frieza Force vessel.

"From Yardrat to Planet 79?" Vegeta asked next.

After recalculating, Hera answered, "Twelve days."

Fourteen days to Yardrat.

Twelve days to Planet 79.

Plus time spent training on Yardrat.

That meant two to three months, minimum.

Then another twenty days from Planet 79 to Earth.

If Vegeta left now, he'd arrive on Earth around the same time as Kakarot and the others finished their wishes.

After all, Namek's Dragon Balls had a cooldown of roughly 130 days.

Vegeta turned away from the command room, continuing to question Hera about the ship's modifications.

This was something he cared deeply about.

Bulma had already explained the upgrades briefly, but now he wanted details.

Hera followed closely, giving a full report.

In the past two days, they had worked directly with Bulma.

Major upgrades were limited—Namek lacked the necessary materials—but the improvements were still massive.

Most importantly, the gravity system could now simulate 200 times Earth's gravity.

That alone was insane.

Bulma hadn't been exaggerating.

Originally a low-end model, the ship was now easily mid-tier or higher.

Given enough time, she could improve it even further.

Vegeta briefly regretted destroying King Cold's ship—those parts could have been useful.

But it was already done.

Outside the Spaceship

Son Goku, Krillin, Gohan, Nail, Dende, and Bulma stood together, discussing their future.

"According to the Grand Elder, even stronger enemies may appear," Goku said.

"I plan to stay on Namek and keep training until the Dragon Balls are usable again."

He looked at Krillin and Gohan.

"If Dad stays, I'll stay too," Gohan said immediately.

"In that case, I'll stay as well," Krillin said with an awkward smile.

"It'll take over a hundred days anyway. I want to solidify my strength."

After everything that had happened, Krillin had matured a lot.

Training on Namek had already given him more growth than years of hardship on Earth.

He didn't want to waste this chance.

"And training with you, Goku, would help a lot," he added.

"Alright then," Goku said with a smile, turning to Nail.

"We'll be relying on you for a while."

"No problem at all," Nail replied sincerely.

"Namek welcomes you. I also have many things I'd like to learn from you."

Dende smiled brightly.

The atmosphere was harmonious—

Except they had completely ignored Bulma.

No one even asked her opinion.

This hurt more than they realized.

Bulma had almost instinctively followed Vegeta earlier—only stopping herself at the last moment.

Standing there, she suddenly felt like an outsider.

No one considered her situation.

No one considered her feelings.

Everything revolved around them.

She felt wronged.

Strangely enough, the aliens she'd just met seemed to understand her better than her own companions.

Even Vegeta—the cold, distant Vegeta—made her feel valued.

Compared to that, her friends seemed to take her for granted.

Feeling uncomfortable and out of place, Bulma quietly prepared to leave.

At that moment, Vegeta stepped out of the spaceship.

He noticed immediately.

The people involved hadn't sensed it—but an outsider could see it at a glance.

The moment Vegeta appeared, everyone fell silent.

Goku stepped forward.

"Vegeta, there's something I want to discuss. When the Dragon Balls recover, can we use them first?"

Vegeta didn't answer.

He glanced at Goku coldly, walked past him—

And stopped in front of Bulma.

"It's time to go," Vegeta said, grabbing her wrist.

Bulma's heart skipped.

Already disappointed, Vegeta's action felt like a lifeline.

She didn't resist.

"You promised me," Bulma said quickly.

"All resources go to me."

"Of course," Vegeta nodded.

"But first, we're stopping by an interesting planet. After that, I'll have a few planets made entirely of precious metals assigned to you."

"…Planets made of precious metals?" Bulma froze.

"The universe is vast," Vegeta said calmly.

"Gold, diamonds—entire planets. Valuable to Earthlings, right?"

"Th-Those really exist?!"

"The universe is full of wonders."

"But the ship isn't fully modified yet—"

"It's good enough."

As Vegeta and Bulma spoke, everyone else faded into the background.

Only then did Goku realize what had happened.

He slapped his forehead.

They had completely overlooked Bulma—and decided everything without her.

Too late now.
