Not long after, under Dende's treatment, Goku fully recovered.
In truth, most of Goku's injuries were self-inflicted from overusing Kaio-ken.
Vegeta had only struck him a few times—just enough to cause intense pain and temporarily rob him of the ability to fight back.
Even so, the stimulation from that battle was immense.
After recovering, Goku's strength had clearly increased again, with his power level exceeding 200,000 at the very least.
There was an old saying: battle is the fastest way for a Saiyan to grow stronger.
That saying wasn't wrong.
A single life-or-death battle, followed by recovery from severe injury, could be worth decades of arduous training.
It was just that times had changed. They had now come into contact with a much broader world, so old standards no longer applied.
In the past, increasing one's power level by 50,000 would have been an almost impossible feat.
Now, it was happening repeatedly.

Standing face to face once more, Vegeta showed no trace of pride. After all, defeating the current Goku was nothing worth boasting about.
What Vegeta truly wanted was to suppress Goku after he became a Super Saiyan—and not just in this timeline, but in every timeline.
"You're truly incredible, Vegeta," Goku said sincerely.
"I never expected you to become this strong in such a short time. I had some premonition, but even with Kaio-ken x12, I still couldn't make you go all out."
He had lost badly, but Vegeta hadn't gone for the kill. Goku understood Vegeta's intent, so there was no tension in his words.
Krillin and Gohan, standing beside Goku, were no longer as nervous as before.
Things hadn't turned out as badly as they feared. They had simply been overthinking it.
Vegeta didn't respond.
Instead of exchanging empty words, he went straight to the point.
"Don't act like we're close, Kakarot. Since you gave me a fight that wasn't completely boring, I'll give you some information.
In two days, Frieza's father—King Cold—should arrive on Planet Namek. Be prepared. He's no weaker than Frieza. If you want more details, ask North Kai.
He's been watching you this whole time."
With that, Vegeta turned and left.
At his current level, he had nothing more to say to Goku.
Unless Goku's strength advanced by leaps and bounds—enough to force Vegeta to transform into a Super Saiyan—there was no point continuing the conversation.
Watching Vegeta gather his subordinates and depart, Goku, Krillin, Gohan, Bulma, and Dende all stood there in stunned silence.
"Frieza… has a father?"
"In two days? Does that mean another disaster is coming to Namek?"
"Why does this feel endless…?" Bulma's voice trembled. "The Dragon Balls won't be usable for another 127 days…"
She looked like she was about to cry.
At that moment, she found herself wanting to rely on Vegeta more and more.
Even though Goku had arrived, he was still far inferior to Vegeta.
She had thought that once Goku arrived, things would finally be safe—that she could stay and research alien technology in peace.
Now, she suddenly had the urge to return to Earth.
Of course, that was just a thought. Everyone was already here—she couldn't just run away alone.
"So… we're really going to face Frieza's father in two days?" Goku murmured.
The first reaction to learning that an overwhelmingly powerful enemy was approaching was fear and shock.
But after that initial moment passed, other emotions began to surface.
For Goku, this was terrible news.
The crisis with Frieza had been resolved by Vegeta—yet now, another terrifying existence was on its way.
And yet…
On some level, Goku was also looking forward to it.
He wanted to know just how strong Frieza's father was.
He wanted to understand how strong Frieza truly had been—and how powerful Super Saiyan Vegeta really was.
In truth, Goku desperately wanted to see a Super Saiyan for himself.
But his strength wasn't enough yet, and Vegeta had already left without another word.
"Goku, Goku! Can you hear me?" Suddenly, North Kai's voice rang out.
Goku jolted and immediately looked up, establishing the connection.
"Lord Kai, have you been watching everything this whole time?" Goku asked.
"Yes," North Kai replied seriously.
"Ever since you arrived on Namek. Don't worry too much about losing to Vegeta—he's the most talented Saiyan in history. But that's not important right now.
"Vegeta already told you about King Cold, and I strongly advise you to take your companions and leave Namek as soon as possible."
The urgency in North Kai's voice made it clear he wasn't exaggerating.
"Is King Cold really that terrifying?" Goku asked honestly.
"Even though I'm far weaker than Vegeta, my current strength is much higher than before—and I've grown even stronger after this fight."
"The gap is still too large," North Kai replied bluntly. "Unless you can also become a Super Saiyan, you won't stand a chance."
Goku fell silent.
North Kai then relayed a flood of information—about King Cold, the history of Frieza's race, and even mentioned that Frieza had an older brother.
That brother's whereabouts were unknown, but according to North Kai, even a Super Saiyan might not be able to defeat him.
The news was staggering.
A Super Saiyan was already an existence beyond imagination—and now there was an enemy that even a Super Saiyan might not be able to overcome.
And that being could very well appear on Namek as well.
"This really feels like we've kicked a hornet's nest…" Krillin said nervously.
"How about we listen to Lord Kai and leave? Take the remaining Namekians and the Dragon Balls with us?"
His timid nature showed clearly.
Without Goku, he could steel himself—but now that Goku was here, his reliance resurfaced.
"That's a great idea!" Bulma immediately agreed. "I'm sure Guru and the others would understand."
She wished they could leave immediately.
