"Gohan, cooperate with me. Let's take him down in one move."
After another exchange, Krillin seized the opening and shouted to Gohan.
"Yes, Uncle Krillin!" Gohan replied instantly, understanding his intent.
"Take me down in one go? What a joke!" Recoome roared when he heard them openly discussing tactics. "This Recoome isn't that easy to deal with!"
An explosive aura erupted from his body. Golden ki wrapped around him like crackling lightning, radiating a deadly pressure.
"Recoome—full power! High-Difficulty—Invincible Tactic!"
As he raised both arms, his terrifying energy surged skyward like a bomb about to detonate.
Krillin and Gohan, positioned on opposite sides, didn't hesitate. This was the moment they had been waiting for.
"Don't miss this chance, Gohan! Attack together—Kamehameha—!!"
"Yes—Masenko—Ha!!"
The two beams fired simultaneously, pouring out all their power without holding back.
Recoome, in the middle of charging his ultimate move, had become a perfect target. He couldn't move at all.
Watching the twin blasts rush toward him, Recoome finally felt the chill of death.
"No—wait—!!"
BOOM—!!!
A deafening explosion swallowed his body whole. Facing two attacks that briefly exceeded 50,000 in power, Recoome had no chance of surviving.
In his final moments, regret filled his mind.
He had underestimated them—both their strength and their speed.
He never imagined that a bald man and a kid, whose base power levels were below 40,000, could fight like this, let alone master such precise control over their ki.
By skillfully compressing their energy, they were able to unleash attacks far beyond their normal limits.
Recoome's death sent shockwaves through Ginyu, Jeice, Burter, and Guldo.
Until now, they hadn't taken Krillin and Gohan seriously.
But reality had just slapped them in the face.
Even if Recoome's defeat was partly due to carelessness, Krillin and Gohan now clearly possessed the strength to threaten their lives.
"Hmph. Looks like Recoome didn't make it," Vegeta said casually, choosing the perfect moment to apply pressure. "So—who's next?"
At his words, their expressions darkened. Cold sweat formed on their foreheads.
"Burter, you go," Ginyu ordered calmly. "Recoome lost because of speed. With your speed, they won't even be able to touch you."
Ginyu wanted to act himself, but he needed an opening—a chance to swap bodies with Vegeta.
Otherwise, even if he defeated Krillin and Gohan, Vegeta would kill him without hesitation.
There was no way Vegeta would let them walk away after all this.
Since they were already here, it was either break the deadlock—or die here.
"…Alright," Burter replied solemnly, nodding.
He had wanted to step in earlier, but seeing Recoome die so miserably had planted fear in his heart.
Their power levels were similar; the difference lay in combat style and specialization.
On the other side, Krillin and Gohan barely had time to catch their breath before facing yet another powerful enemy.
Just from Burter's aura alone, they could tell—he was stronger than Recoome.
And after hearing Ginyu's words, they knew their previous tactic wouldn't work again.
Krillin leaned closer to Gohan and whispered a plan, keeping his voice low so only the two of them could hear.
Gohan immediately nodded.
"Hmph! Looks like you've thought up a countermeasure," Burter sneered.
"But it's useless! Even if your power levels break 40,000, I still surpass you by a full 5,000!"
He grinned arrogantly.
"And you should already know—Burter is the fastest in the universe!"
With that, Burter assumed a starting stance.
In the next instant, his figure vanished.
All that remained was a blue afterimage.
His speed was on a completely different level compared to others in the same range.
Even though Krillin and Gohan could sense his ki and barely track his movement, their bodies simply couldn't react in time.
This distance was nothing—one or two seconds was all it took.
Burter appeared behind them and delivered a spinning kick, sending both Krillin and Gohan flying.
"Nice!" Jeice and Guldo shouted instinctively.
But they quickly fell silent, embarrassed.
Their noise drew Vegeta's attention, and Ginyu shot them a look as if they were complete idiots.
The battle between Burter and Krillin and Gohan had begun in earnest.
And this time, the situation was completely reversed.
Earlier, they had danced around Recoome with flexible movement and coordination.
Now, against Burter's overwhelming speed, they were forced on the defensive, barely able to hold on.
Of course, others couldn't tell—but Vegeta saw everything clearly.
Feigning weakness. Waiting patiently.
Then striking decisively.
This was obviously Krillin's plan.
In the original timeline, Krillin was always full of clever tricks.
As the story progressed and power levels skyrocketed, he gradually fell behind and withdrew from the front lines.
Even so, in later battles like the Tournament of Power, he proved again and again that tactics could decide everything.
Just as the fight continued—
A deep, muffled roar suddenly echoed from the sky.
Everyone instinctively looked up.
A spaceship tore through Namek's atmosphere, plummeting toward an island dozens of miles away.
There was no doubt about it.
Goku's spaceship had arrived.
Behind Vegeta, Bulma's eyes widened. Still half-unsure, she exclaimed excitedly, "Is that Goku? Is that Goku's spaceship?!"
Vegeta listened calmly and nodded. "That idiot's right on time. Good. I'll get to watch a proper show."
As he spoke, his gaze shifted to Ginyu, Jeice, and Guldo.
"What's going on?"
"Why is there a spaceship arriving now?"
"Who is it? King Cold's forces?"
"No, I've never seen a ship like that before…"
The three spoke one after another.
On the battlefield, Burter paused for a moment, giving Krillin and Gohan a brief chance to recover.
"That's Dad's ki!" Gohan shouted joyfully.
Krillin was just as excited, his body trembling slightly.
"It's Goku! He finally made it! And that ki—there's no doubt about it. That's the result of training in 100x gravity!"
The battlefield of Namek—
Had just become even more dangerous.
