Zylus averted his gaze, turning his body in the opposite direction. He didn't notice it, but Zylus was right by the colosseum's cracked walls, where he earlier plummeted Patricia's back against, yet she remained present.
Patricia kept her steady breath, trying to move logically in correlation with her current lifeless state, so no further damage would accumulate. Though the blood slowly gushing out of her skin was gonna be the end of her either way, so calling out to Zylus was Patricia's last attempt at retaliation, to earn the last laugh.
"Die in hell," blood forcefully came out from Patricia's mouth, as she stared directly into Zylus's piercing gaze, her eyes blinking from time to time, as the moonlit star's light shone above them.
Her back remained against the rigid stone walls, as Zylus crouched down, so both he and Patricia could be on equal level.
"I've heard that plenty of times before," Zylus whispered into her ear, "Hearing it again makes no difference."
