Both of them stood in the middle of the arena ground, menacingly. An aura detached around their bodies as it suited them; the silhouette behind both had evil intent with no hesitation.
"Oh," Mordain sadly whispered, "I guess you won't be able to go past this point."
Zylus kept his katana by his side, as Mordain, the fifth rank, glared up into the vast dark sky.
"What of it-?"
"It's really a shame you see," Mordain continued, then locked his gaze with Zylus, "I really thought that you would help me kill Chris."
"I see what you want," Zylus paused, "you want status."
"I'm one of the top nobles after all, the house of Avaris hates the Talls, specifically, Chris Tall." He proclaimed, his fists tightened. "Every day, all I hear is Chris this Chris that, that I need to strive to be to his level, but why go to his level when I can bring him down to mine?" He asked, maliciously starting to walk forward.
