Chapter 79 - Chapter Seventy-Eight: The Curtain Falls

Just after the Senate completed its vote, the Republic's fleet began to assemble and head for Kalee, accompanied by fifty selected Jedi Knights and Jedi Masters.

Ten hammerhead-class cruisers, ten Consular-class cruisers, and one Dreadnought heavy cruiser represented the Republic as they entered hyperspace to stop this now meaningless war.

At this moment, the Kaili people led by Hilar had finished looting the colonies and returned to the indomitable, preparing to head to the next colony, but they encountered the Yamri people's fleet head-on.

Thus, they were forced into an intense space battle, but the Yamri people's ships could not destroy the indomitable; their firepower was completely insufficient against this behemoth.

Meanwhile, the Vulture Droids, relying on their high speed, wore down the Yamri people's ships.

"Attack! Kill all the Huk people!" Hilar had fallen into a kind of madness, completely unlike his future self.

On Kalee, statues of Hilar and Kumar were erected, but they did not yet know that Hilar's subsequent attacks would soon lead to sanctions from the Republic.

"The Republic's fleet and Jedi task force have departed. This war will soon be over," Obi-Wan relayed the Republic's message to the others.

"Let it end quickly. We've been here too long, and it has completely deviated from my original intention," Kote God had long wanted to leave, as events had unfolded entirely differently from what he had envisioned.

The Great Khan selected from the elite Kaili people, Aurelio Sims, had made Kote God a god walking among men, revered by all of Kalee City. Each month, the strongest ten thousand were even chosen to train in Vadir, becoming servants of God's army, and they took great pride in this.

"Kote God, the Kaili people are your servants. Whenever you need the Kaili people, we will appear!" Aurelio said, kneeling before Kote God.

Kote God had now accepted his role as Kote God on Kalee and had signed an agreement with Kalee for food to be delivered monthly, and for Kaili people to be taken to Vadir for training. After one year, they would be sent back to Kalee and would thereafter be available for Kote God's deployment at any time.

Kote God nodded, letting him attend to his own business, as there was still much to do.

After one day, the Republic's fleet arrived above Kalee, while the indomitable, emitting black smoke, barely floated in the air.

Several shuttles escorted Hilar and his army to the surface of Kalee. Hilar's eyes were filled with boundless rage, glaring at the Republic's escorts and Jedi Masters.

Upon seeing Kote God, he roared, "It's you! You destroyed everything! You brought the Republic!"

Kote God looked at the enraged Hilar without speaking. He had only done what he believed was right; everything that followed was his own doing.

Earlier, the Republic's fleet had arrived in the Huk System, saw the two sides in a stalemate, and immediately communicated, ordering everyone to cease fire.

Seeing the Republic's fleet finally arrive, the Yamri people breathed a sigh of relief, finally surviving. But Hilar, after a moment's pause, continued his attack, even including the Republic's ships in his assault.

"No, Hilar! This is the Republic's army, you cannot clash with them!" Kumar immediately called for Hilar to stop, preventing him from attacking.

"No, these are all armies wanting to help the Yamri people. I will! Destroy them!" Even through his mask, Hilar's tears could be seen in his eyes. At this moment, even knowing he couldn't attack, he continued to order the assault. This was his last act of defiance.

Seeing the Kaili people remain so stubborn, the Republic's fleet immediately began its attack. Under the assault of dozens of Republic ships, their shields quickly shattered, and the hull sustained significant damage in many places; everything was virtually destroyed except for the engines.

The Republic's Jedi task force also boarded the ship. After fifty Jedi disembarked from the shuttles, Kaili people filled the entire hangar, surrounding the shuttles.

"Lay down your weapons and surrender immediately!" Great Master Dooku, leading the group, declared to the Kaili people below.

However, the Kaili people had been ordered by Hilar to attack everyone inside and never surrender.

Looking at the fifty Jedi Masters, the Kaili people hesitated whether to attack, but the demigod had given the command.

"Never surrender!" A Kaili person shot an arrow from his bow at Great Master Dooku.

Dooku controlled the incoming attack in the sky. Seeing this, Dooku had no choice but to attack.

Drawing their lightsabers, fifty Jedi broke through the encirclement, killing most of the Kaili people. Hilar, as the leader, saw this scene and charged forward with his spear.

"Invaders!" Hilar raised his spear high and charged at Dooku, intending to kill him.

With one hand, he used his lightsaber to block other attacks, while with the other, he used The Force to choke Hilar.

Seeing such a scene, Kumar, who was still fighting, shouted, "We surrender! We lost!"

Hearing the other demigod say so, and the other demigod being controlled and suspended, suffocating, the Kaili people immediately laid down their weapons and stopped resisting.

Dooku looked at his fallen comrades and wanted to choke Hilar to death, but as a Jedi, he held back, tossing him aside. Kumar then knelt over Hilar, weeping bitterly.

Thus, the earlier scene was created. All the hatred had forged the current Hilar: a pathological Hilar, a mad Hilar, a Hilar not recognized by the world.

Qui-Gon looked at Great Master Dooku and stepped forward to greet him, but Dooku merely nodded, as he was deep in thought.

So, in the end, the Republic took over Kalee and also went to Huk, imposing sanctions and demanding reparations from both planets.

So, what did both sides gain from the Huk War? Nothing at all. In the end, only the Republic profited.

On Kalee after the war, the economy once again severely regressed. Hilar went to the Galaxy to find a solution for atonement. The Yamri people's reputation in the Galaxy worsened, and they also faced economic sanctions and had to pay reparations to the Republic and Kalee.

After bidding farewell to the other Jedi Masters, Kote God returned to Vadir, bringing Nehaal with him. Kote God had discovered that Nehaal, like Palpatine, could conceal his body's The Force. If it weren't for an instance when Kote God was using The Force and Nehaal mimicked him, causing objects to move, Kote God would not have discovered his talent. This also explained why the two of them could communicate at that time.

"Come, meet your new companion," Kote God introduced the ten-year-old Nehaal to Zeta, who was growing rapidly, and Anakin, who was already three years old.

The three introduced themselves, and Kote God also began to check whether the other two had trained well during his absence. Although they always said they had trained during every communication, he still had to see it with his own eyes.

Watching the two spar and use The Force, Kote God nodded, "No slacking off, keep up the good work."

"Alright, before I leave, I need to teach you more ways to use The Force."

"Brother Kote God, are you leaving again?" Anakin didn't understand why Kote God was leaving again.

"Because the power in Brother's body is too strong and needs to be released, so as not to hurt everyone," Kote God said seriously, stroking Anakin's head.

"Then I will supervise the others' training!" Anakin saluted Kote God in the manner of the Mandalorians.

"What a little rascal."

After helping Nehaal enter the world of The Force and completing future arrangements, five months later, Kote God went to an uninhabited planet in the Zanbar System alone and began to train his The Force and Psionics.
