Nyx's labor started in the middle of a council meeting.

"I think…" Nyx gasped, gripping the table as contraction hit. "I think the baby is coming."
Chaos erupted immediately. Raziel was at her side in seconds, Umbra came moments later. The council meeting ended immediately as everyone either fled or tried to help. Sylthis appeared with medical supplies, Lamia ran for the healer, Korran awkwardly offered to carry Nyx to chambers.
"I can walk." Nyx insisted, then immediately proved herself wrong by doubling over with another contraction.
Raziel carried her to their chambers, Umbra's shadows cleared the path ahead of them. Through the bond, he felt every contraction.
