Chapter 115 - Ep. 114 - Destination Hell. Suited up for infernal heat.

Nimbly, Vegeta found himself back on his feet. Before Trunks even realized what was happening, the Prince pounced, tackling his son straight into the ground as a massive explosion of dust shot violently up into the air. Trunks yelped as Vegeta slammed into him with terrifying, blinding speed—no warning, and absolutely no mercy. The dense dust cloud exploded outward, entirely hiding the violent scuffle from view.

From the window, Bulma and Melody both winced. This wasn't a friendly sparring match anymore... this was Vegeta completely unloading his humiliation-driven rage. A savage series of rapid punches and kicks erupted from within the billowing smoke, each strike moving faster than the last. The resulting ki output was absolutely insane.

Goten: *He took a step closer to his girl, his voice tense.* Uhm, Mel? We should probably get going on our final quest before my dad decides to show up, demanding being amplified too.

Melody nodded quickly in agreement. Goten was entirely right—if Goku showed up to investigate this massive power surge, the whole planet might literally shake from his overwhelming curiosity.

They exchanged a quick glance with Bulma, who just frantically waved them off. She was far too focused on watching her husband aggressively destroy their son in a fit of training rage. The two lovers bolted toward the lab's exit just as another earth-shattering explosion rocked the foundations of the entire building.

Bulma: Oy! Goten, wait! *Bulma called out, her voice cutting through the chaos.* You can't go without at least taking the gear that I made for your travel to Hell.

Goten skidded to a sharp halt, turning back just as Bulma tossed them a pair of sleek, black-and-red suits specifically designed to withstand the underworld's most extreme heat.

Goten: Whoa—thanks, Bulma! *Goten grinned.*

Melody caught hers and immediately started changing into it. The specialized fabric was incredibly lightweight yet heavily insulated—perfect for navigating the volatile, fiery pits of the underworld. A portal awaited them. They had one final catalyst to claim... and then? Divine ascension.

Bulma: Oh, and Goten? Please be careful... You too, Melody, *Bulma added, her voice dropping into a rare, deeply serious, motherly tone.* I really don't want to be the one who has to inform either of your mothers that a funeral is in order.

Goten: *His expression softened instantly. Bulma rarely got this serious, and it was clear she truly cared about their survival.* Don't worry, Bulma. We'll come back, in one piece. *he said firmly, zipping up the sleek suit.*

Melody gave Bulma a small but warm, reassuring smile. Then, gently grabbing hold of Goten's upper arm, she used her displacement ability to teleport them directly to the portal's location. Instantly, the swirling, chaotic gateway to Hell manifested right in front of them, the furious flames of the infernal fire licking aggressively at their indestructible new coats.

The portal's oppressive heat hit them like a physical wall, sweat immediately beading on their foreheads despite the state-of-the-art protective gear. Beyond the shimmering rift lay a true nightmare realm—a hellscape of endless, roaring fire, towering cliffs of jagged molten rock, and the eerie, distant echoes of screams.

Goten took a deep, steadying breath. This was it. Hell. The final catalyst—the piece of Black Zircon trapped inside Vegeta's old training chamber—awaited them somewhere in this damnation realm, and they had to find it. Without a single shred of hesitation, Melody stepped through the barrier first, the demonic flames parting dramatically around her silhouette as she led the way into damnation itself.
