After discussing the Gundams, the group walked to G-Force's R&D areas. There were a few extra people, among them were people from the Academy colony.
These were the medical personnel called in from the Main Academy Hospital.
"How is the situation?" Marcus asked the extra medics on the site.
"Cecile is stable; however, the Eezo exposure has mutated some of her brain cells… from the looks of it… she is generating Eezo in her brain." The Head Doctor scratched his head and said he was confused by the readings.
"Your Majesty… Eezo is a new material; we have only had two years of research on it. Even then, I think we don't know all of the qualities of this substance." He said with a strained look.
"Let me do my thing." Marcus took his tablet and then activated his Geass.
Wang Liu Mei drew closer as she saw the bird symbols in his eyes glowing red.
'So that's how geass looks like!' The girl looked closely as he skimmed through the report, then walked over to bring the medical instruments.
"We are going to devise implants for her. This way, she can control her new powers."
"...You mean… to say she awakened powers because of the exposure to Dark Matter?" The Head Doctor looked surprised.
He is well aware that his Emperor was dreaming of making humans ascend to the next level, alongside the empire becoming a proper interstellar species.
Was this the key?
"Indeed. We will name this phenomenon later; for now, I have to focus on this."
Marcus began to design according to what he saw.
"...What is he doing?" The Heiress asked Anna.
"He is using his Absolute Order of Sequences Geass to develop a method for Cecile to wield her new powers.
The way his Geass works is that it allows him to see things in Orderly flow. Think of it like instructions, but once he saw it, he would never forget it.
It's like learning things at an easy difficulty."
"..."
It took a second for Wang Liu Mei to process the sheer realisation of what this means!
"...If what you said… then he can master any technology in a matter of hours…"
"How do you think we mastered gravity, one of the fundamental forces of the universe, in a matter of a few short years?" Anna shook her head. He was the reason their civilisation is superior to the Human civilisation of Wang Liu Mei's Earth, and their place is 200 years in the future.
Though that can be argued, as they have Sakuradite.
But that's besides the point.
"..I see… so his geass is the reason." The Heiress nodded.
"Reason? No, it's him… he dragged us to space. He waged war just so that we could become an interplanetary civilisation.
Not his Geass, he built his mobile suits without those Eyes. He never needed, sure, it's a great perk, but it's a bonus." Anna bragged about her husband, making the Heiress smile at Anna's bragging. It was good to see that his wives liked him so much.
"But he did, he did use his powers to accelerate the learning curve." The Science Empress said with a small frown.
The current technologies are not the easiest to master.
As Anna was explaining things, Marcus continued his work. Eventually, Lloyd walked over, wearing a space suit…
"Lloyd? What the hell?" The Emperor snapped out from his work and looked at one of his researchers.
"Don't mind me, Your Majesty."
"I was only joking about spacing you." The Inventor Emperor joked as he shook his head.
"Doesn't matter, I understood that could happen when someone can break walls with their mind."
The nerdy inventor commented as he checked out what Marcus was working on.
"Interesting."
"This is an implant that will allow Cecile to access her powers without worries, because at the moment she won't be able to do it without accidents." He explained to one of his scientists, showing the designs.
"...This technology didn't exist before… I assume you used your Geass for this…"
"Indeed. While our science has advanced sharply, there are certain fields where we are behind. Like these implants, they go into the brain and nervous system."
"Yes. But we do have your data in spine reconstruction. It's one of the most important body parts that is hard to work with." Lloyd reminded him of what Marcus did to Nunnally. The girl could walk properly once more, and the project had taken years to complete.
From outside prosthetics to internal ones, until he had a machine that could fix any human's spine. It's groundbreaking technology.
"Similar in application, but this is to add extra, Cecile developed a power when she was exposed to Dark Matter. She can now use it with her mind. Add weight or remove it."
"Yeah, I heard that. Where do you want me to assist?" The nerdy inventor asked, noticing there was something he could help with.
Marcus motioned to his side. There was an extra console he could work on.
"I need you to run debugging in the new software."
"Sure…"

"So what did you do that you needed to play with little Eezo we had left?" Marcus asked Lloyd after finishing the initial design for the implants. The next part was its manufacturing. The Emperor couldn't test this on anybody yet, so he used his eyes several times to make sure this technology actually works.
Normally, there are several stages of testing, but he doesn't have biotics apart from Cecile, so he can't run tests. Instead, he needed to overuse his eyes to make sure everything worked.
Lloyd, who finally removed his helmet, answered the question.
"Cecile got an idea to generate Dark Matter, she realised that we won't easily find extra. These Protheans said that Dark Matter naturally appears only in solar systems whose suns are going supernova.
That means the sun needs to generate specific pressure; we can simulate that quite easily. After all, we have started hundreds of fusion reactors."
"...Man made Dark Matter…" Marcus's eyes were wide when he heard their idea! His brain rapidly caught up to them.
"It is possible." A new voice said as the Emperor hadn't heard it for a while. He looked to the side, and he saw Nina—a rare individual in this part of the Empire.
The girl is officially living in Venus' colonies and is the Leader of the Venus Project. A project to Terraform Venus.
Over the years, she became well-versed in atmospheric studies and space station development.
"The issue is that we need a lot of Helium-3 for this. In other words, constant restarting of Fusion reactors.
We would build Fusion Reactors to go supernova, then collect Dark Matter.
It would be the discarding of the reactor energy." She said while showing an AI-generated video.
"...We don't know if the Nano metal could hold such power." Marcus understood the general idea of how this could work.
"Indeed, but Nano metal is a man-made material as well. We can improve it considerably as well."
Once more, Nina showed him an upgraded material.
"We have been testing periodically on a new material that could survive in the utterly hostile environment of Venus.
We have a general idea how to 'tank' the explosive power of a sun." The girl showed him something.
"You want to use Eezo to coat the inner layers of the fusion reactor to capture heat." Marcus was impressed. This girl only had two years to work with this.
"And use Resonance rods to stimulate the flow of heat into specific tubes. We could literally have exploding suns in the palm of our hand." The girl showed her hand before clenching it. There was a small smile on her face.
"Scary stuff…"
"I have provided my assistance, Your Majesty. Now… if you would, could you approve my next budget?" Nina all of a sudden blushed while saying that.
Marcus looked confused. He was pretty certain he had provided a considerable amount of money and resources for the Venus project.
To double-check, he summoned his console and checked her project.
"...That's a lot of resources, are you building a fourth colony or something…"
"No. I will be building a space station that will draw carbon dioxide from Venus's atmosphere. We can then transfer it to Mars and start its Terraforming." Nina explained to him.
'I heard this idea while back, so she finally cracked the formula to use gravity to capture and suck Carbon Dioxide into a space station.' Marcus was fascinated by that.
It would seem the Venus Project is leagues ahead of the Mars Project, not to mention the Mars Project is easier in a way. All they need to do is build towers around specific areas and begin generating an atmosphere.
"Sure. You have your budget." With a casual hand motion, he increased her spending money.
"Imagine having a budget, it couldn't have been me." Lloyd shook his head.
"...Hmph, unlike you, I don't build Gundams, I am trying to put humans on other planets!" With that said, the nerdy green-haired girl walked away.
"Over the years, she became obsessed with terraforming Venus for you." The nerdy mobile suit developer said with a sigh.
"You don't say…"
Marcus recalled the nerdy girl declaring she would only marry him if she could terraform Venus. The girl 'needed' to prove herself to be worthy.
'Last time I checked, the 3rd-generation fusion reactor was her idea. Same with 4th now.'
The Emperor summoned the forwarded data and checked it out.
'This, in theory, will allow us to make hotter and better suns. The containment field could potentially hold any form of sun.
The issue is how much helium-3 and dark matter I am willing to pump into it to kickstart the reactor.'
The Inventor Emperor hummed as he then realised that the 4th generation would have two forms of reactors. Well, technically, three types. As one is a mobile version. But the key point is that one will be used to make the sun go supernova to generate dark matter, and the other to power his Empire.
"Regardless, with this, we can start working on the 4th generation and most likely power our Jupiter's venture."
To Marcus words, Lloyd nodded as he was reading the blueprint.
"Indeed. Nina came far. This is a masterpiece." The nerdy pudding-eating scientist smiled as he liked what he saw.
"I can start putting this together."
"You can, but first send me over what you been working on, your doodles included."
When Lloyd heard those words, he puffed at his Emperor.
"Ugh… fine."
By 'doddles', Lloyd is great at coming up with random ideas. While he rarely puts everything to use, his ideas could come in handy for Marcus.
"Good. Once you have a functioning Fusion Reactor, contact me. We can start upgrading our Gundams. After that, we can focus on Jupiter venture and creation of Dark Matter factories and GN drives."
"Dark Matter factories… that does have a great ring to it." Lloyd smiled at such a development.
"By the way, the trio of new machines are ready, yes?"
When the nerd heard that, he smirked as he pushed his glasses up.
"Indeed, Gundam Impulse, Saviour, and of course Gundam Throne Epona. They are ready for transfer." Lloyd introduced the machines before showing a regretful look.
"I do apologise that it took that long to make your vision a reality, but a Gundam that can manipulate Gravity… that is not an easy thing to do."
"Yes, we did put gravity resonators into such a compacted form." Marcus grimaced while saying that. He didn't want to give a basic machine to Marrybell; it should be a groundbreaking model, and it became just that.
A machine that can manipulate gravity.
"Indeed. It turns out that the precurson civilisation data did help us. As they had levitation via sound and vibration."
"Good, that is what we needed to incorporate that technology into our Empire permanently." Marcus nodded as he got up. He finally relaxed and could see his new Gundams in person.
Lloyd followed after him.
"Let me show you where they are." He smirked while motioning to his Emperor to follow him.
