Chapter 76 - Chapter 71

The moment All For One spoke the name of Izuku's original quirk, the battlefield reacted.

Not metaphorically.

Physically.

The black sphere pulsed once inside All For One's hand, and an invisible shockwave spread across Kurogane Atoll hard enough to disturb the ocean surrounding the island. Rain evaporated midair while green-black lightning erupted violently across the sky.

"Genesis," Izuku repeated quietly.

The name felt wrong and familiar at the same time.

Like something buried deep inside his soul had finally been acknowledged.

Garaki's expression twisted into something between fascination and obsession.

"Yes," he whispered. "The quirk that should not exist."

Darkness spread outward from his body violently.

The pressure became overwhelming again.

Heroes across the battlefield struggled to remain standing while the remains of Kurogane Atoll continued sinking beneath the ocean.

Garaki slowly descended toward Izuku through the storm-filled sky.

"You understand now, don't you?" he asked softly. "Why your existence matters."

Izuku stared at the black sphere silently.

Inside it, he could feel something alive.

Not conscious.

Instinctive.

A heartbeat calling to him.

All For One's voice remained calm beside him.

"If you take it back, there is no guarantee what happens next."

Izuku looked toward him briefly.

"Do you regret it?"

For several seconds, All For One said nothing.

Then he answered honestly.

"…No."

The response surprised Izuku.

All For One continued quietly.

"If I had left Genesis inside your body as a child, you would have died before reaching your fifth birthday."

Garaki laughed from above them.

"He says that as if death would have been a waste. Imagine how magnificent the singularity could have become naturally."

All For One's expression darkened immediately.

"That is the difference between us, Reiji."

Dark tendrils spread around him.

"You see power first."

Garaki smiled wider.

"And you finally learned not to."

Silence followed briefly.

Then All For One extended the sphere toward Izuku fully.

"Take it."

The pressure radiating from Genesis intensified immediately.

Even touching the air around it felt dangerous.

Izuku slowly reached forward.

The instant his fingers touched the sphere—

pain exploded through his entire body.

Not ordinary pain.

Recognition.

Every nerve inside him ignited simultaneously while green-black energy surged violently beneath his skin. Memories flashed through his mind uncontrollably.

A hospital room.

Machines failing.

His mother crying.

All For One standing silently beside him as a child.

Then darkness.

Years of silence.

Years of emptiness.

And beneath all of it—

something sleeping.

The sphere dissolved into light.

Genesis returned home.

The battlefield detonated.

A colossal pillar of green-black energy erupted into the sky from Izuku's body, tearing apart storm clouds across hundreds of kilometers. The ocean surrounding Kurogane Atoll surged violently outward while every person present instinctively shielded themselves from the pressure.

Even Garaki's expression changed.

Not excitement.

Shock.

Izuku screamed.

His body hovered above the collapsing island while energy spiraled around him uncontrollably. One For All reacted immediately, stabilizing the process as the vestiges appeared around him inside the mental landscape.

Nana stared at the overwhelming force surrounding him.

"So this is…"

Yoichi looked toward the energy silently.

"A power beyond singularity."

Outside the mental world, fractures spread across reality around Izuku's body. Space distorted briefly before repairing itself instantly. The atmosphere itself trembled beneath Genesis awakening fully for the first time.

Garaki's breathing became uneven.

"Impossible…"

All For One looked upward quietly.

"No," he said calmly.

"Izuku simply survived long enough to become complete."

Then Izuku opened his eyes.

The battlefield froze.

Green-black lightning flowed around him like living energy while strange markings spread faintly across parts of his skin. But the most terrifying change was the pressure surrounding him.

It no longer felt explosive.

It felt absolute.

Controlled.

Garaki immediately attacked.

Fear drove him forward for the first time in decades.

Black singularities erupted across the sky while distorted gravity waves consumed everything nearby. Entire sections of ocean vanished beneath collapsing space as Garaki unleashed his full evolved power without restraint.

Izuku moved.

That was all.

No explosive acceleration.

No visible strain.

One moment he stood motionless.

The next, Garaki's attack split apart harmlessly around him.

Garaki's eyes widened.

"What—"

Izuku appeared directly before him.

Then punched.

The impact silenced the battlefield.

Not because it lacked force.

Because the force transcended sound itself.

Garaki's body folded violently before being launched across the island hard enough to split the remaining landmass apart completely. Mountains disintegrated while the ocean beneath him collapsed inward from pressure.

Shock consumed every hero watching.

Bakugo stared upward speechlessly.

"What the hell…"

Even All For One narrowed his eyes slightly.

Genesis was amplifying One For All far beyond expected calculations.

Garaki emerged from the destruction seconds later.

Blood covered half his body now.

Regeneration repaired the damage instantly—

then slowed.

Garaki noticed immediately.

Fear crossed his face.

Izuku descended slowly through the storm.

"You said humanity was evolving," he said quietly.

The air trembled around every word.

"But all you ever did was abandon it."

Garaki roared.

Darkness exploded outward again while his body expanded into a monstrous form combining Kurotsuki's distortion abilities with Kyodai Garaki's biological evolution.

The sky itself darkened.

Black tendrils spread across the atmosphere while reality fractured around him violently.

"I AM EVOLUTION!"

He attacked with everything.

Singularities.

Gravity collapse.

Matter distortion.

Adaptive regeneration.

Every power he possessed erupted simultaneously in a catastrophic wave capable of erasing entire nations.

Heroes below watched in horror.

Even Star and Stripe whispered quietly:

"…That would destroy the planet."

Izuku closed his eyes briefly.

Then he raised one hand.

Genesis activated fully.

And reality stabilized.

The distortions around Garaki froze instantly.

Not erased.

Overwritten.

Garaki's eyes widened in absolute disbelief.

"What… did you do?"

Izuku opened his eyes again.

"Genesis doesn't destroy," he said calmly.

"It governs."

Green-black energy spread outward across the battlefield like flowing light.

For the first time since evolving—

Garaki lost control of his own power.

The singularities destabilized.

Gravity normalized.

Distortions collapsed harmlessly.

Genesis was dominating the quirk factors themselves.

Garaki staggered backward.

"No… no, that's impossible…"

Izuku stepped forward slowly.

Every movement radiated overwhelming pressure now.

"You spent your entire life chasing singularity," he said quietly.

"But you never understood the thing you feared most."

Garaki's body began destabilizing.

Cracks spread across his evolved form while unstable energy leaked uncontrollably from within him.

"Humanity doesn't evolve by abandoning people."

Izuku stopped directly before him.

"It evolves by protecting them."

Garaki attacked desperately one final time.

Izuku answered with a single punch.

One For All.

Genesis.

Everything combined.

The collision illuminated the world.

For one impossible moment, the storm above Kurogane Atoll disappeared entirely.

Then Garaki's body shattered.

Darkness fragmented across the sky while black energy disintegrated into fading particles. The monstrous evolved form collapsed apart piece by piece as the ocean slowly calmed beneath the fading light.

Garaki stared at Izuku silently while his body crumbled.

"…Beautiful," he whispered weakly.

Then he disappeared completely.

Silence filled the battlefield.

The war was over.

And above the ruins of Kurogane Atoll—

Izuku Midoriya floated alone beneath a clearing sky.
