One moment they became fearful, overwhelmed by the sheer ferocity that was human life having faced the kind of things that would keep you awake at night, tossing and turning in your sleep, and the next moment, they suddenly became brave, putting on their armour and shield, and venturing out into the scary unknown.
Andrei felt all kinds of emotions as he faced the overflowing whirlpool now swelling with creatures that existed beyond the scope of reality. It shook him to his core knowing he'd have to battle these things having now seen them for what they truly were. Yet within that same vein, he felt the overwhelming need to erase them from existence. To pierce them with his blade even if it was the last thing he'd ever do.
