Xander smiled a most mischievous smile. His pale eyes seemed to glow like a flashlight in a dark room, and Soresguard tried his best not to stare any longer than he needed to.
He averted his gaze, jaw clenched, hands fisted behind him.
Xander's deep and melodious voice filled the space like it had found a place where it belonged, where it shined the most.
All eyes were on him. How could they not be when he looked radiant standing there, skin glistening like a freshly buttered brioche roll left in the oven for a touch too long. There was nothing imperfect about him. And even if there was, on his face, on his body and person, the imperfection only served to make him look more magnificent than he already was.
