There were moments in a person's life when one desperately needed a Time Machine that could propel them through space and time, allowing them to reverse whatever mistakes they'd made in the hopes of forever erasing said mistakes from the fabric of the minds of those unfortunate enough to have borne witness to the grievances of the ones who'd committed the atrocious mistakes in the first place.
Kenneth Sanches had experienced very few moments like that in his life. Of course, there was the time he'd wet the bed at seven years old and hadn't been the first to notice his juvenescent fumble, or the time he'd misfired his weapon during target drills in his first year of service. As Kenneth Grey, however, he'd had more than a few missteps he wished he could prune from existence. Like the various times he'd acted as though he didn't love Lucien Saint-James, or the times he'd hurt him. But those were learning moments. Moments he knew were meant to happen in the pursuit of his growth.
