Aria's POV
The day was getting darker and I haven't been able to think of a way out of here, I haven't seen my son, how was he? Has he eaten? He would probably be crying missing me right now.
These were the only thought swirling up in my mind right now.
I sat up still curled against the wall wondering what would become of me very soon when I heard Seraphina's irritating high pitched voice against the door.
"I am the Luna! Are you really going to stand in my way? Move!"
I flinched as the lock turned violently, and the heavy door slammed open against the wall.
Seraphina walked in like she had come for war. Her clothes were perfect, her hair was perfect, but her face? Her face was terrifying.
She spotted me in the far corner of the room, and her face changed into something worse, more like she was irritated.
"So, it's true," she spat, walking in slowly, like she was stepping on broken glass.
"You came back, youjust can't stay away, can you? You miserable little wolf-whore! You think you can sneak back in here, lie in my Alpha's bed, and steal my position back?"
I pushed myself off the wall.
My knees were shaking, but I didn't let her see it.
"I didn't sneak in, Seraphina," I shot back.
"Your monster Alpha kidnapped me and my son. I don't want your pathetic position. You can keep it. I just want to leave."
She gave in a dry rusty laugh "Oh, please, save the innocent act. I know who you are. You always thought you were better than me. Purer." She walked right up to me, her eyes fixed on mine.
"Look around, Aria. I am the Luna. I'm the one Kael chose and not you. I'm smarter than you, and frankly, I'm prettier. You're just a sad reminder of his first mistake."
"I don't want any of this, you think you can hirt me? I've always wanted you to be happy but you? You never wanted the same for me. We're family. We're blood. You're awful, yes, but don't you care about your own sister and her feelings? "
"Sister?" She smiled like she had just heard something enticing.
"Don't be ridiculous, We share a mother or die we? I don't even think we do. We are step-sisters, you adopted wolf. There is no bond. There's no blood that matters. I will do whatever I have to do to protect what is mine!"
"I don't want what's yours sister, help me leave that's all, I won't come back"
"Lies, lies, you've always been a born liar"
Suddenly, she moved towards the vase ok kael's dresser and slammed it down towards where I stood.
I finched and didn't even have time to react properly.
The sound was so loud I was expecting anyone in here anytime soon.
The case exploded into pieces with Shards flying everywhere.
Seraphina let out a piercing, gut-wrenching scream and grabbed her arm, where she'd managed to scrape herself with one of the shads.
"You're so cruel, I thought we were sisters, all I wanted to do was help you " she shrieked, tears instantly flooding her eyes.
She pointed her shaky hand right at me. "She attacked me! She's completely insane! She tried to smash my head in with that thing!"
I was stunned not going to lie, I didn't even know what to say or should I even say I didn't even have time to say something to defend myself.
The main door burst open again. Kael rushed in, followed by four or five pack members who just stopped dead in the doorway, staring at the shattered mess.
"What the hell happened here?!" Kael roared.
Seraphina immediately threw herself at him, sobbing uncontrollably, stupid bitch.
"Oh, Kael! It's her! I told you! She's a monster! She's come back to destroy us. She attacked me! Look what she did! We have to throw her away, she's going to cause chaos!"
Kael looked from the broken vase to Seraphina's dramatic face, then back to me, standing by the wall, still frightened by the whole drama.
I held my breath, waiting for him to betray me again as usual.
But instead, Kael pushed Seraphina gently away.
"Seraphina. Enough," he said,
She stopped this crying instantly and leave. Her face was total shock.
"Kael? You're asking me to leave? Can't you see the danger? Look what she did! She needs to be contained!"
Kael didn't even look at the floor neither her hand. He focused only on me while talking.
"What I decide, stays. I am the Alpha. This situation is going to be handled by me. Everyone out." He pointed at the doorway, not wavering.
"And yes, No one has the right to enter my room anymore. No one. Including you, Luna."
Seraphina was furious, she nearly lost her mind.
She looked like she might actually explode.
"How can you tell me not to enter my own Alpha's room? I have duties!"
"You will go to the guest room on the third floor," he replied ignoring her dramatic display.
"Now. Go. And send the warriors to come clear this mess."
Seraphina remained stunned, before giving me that stare of hate.
"You!"
"You'll pay for everything, everything you did today, I won't let you go free okay? I don't know what video you're using on my own Alpha but it won't last bet me!"
She turned and marched out, the pack members scurrying after her.
I was left alone with Kael.
The room was silent now, except for my own breathing.
He hadn't believed her. He had protected me. But he had also trapped me.
So I can't still trust him.
Yes he had protected me but he looked me up and took my son away from me.
He finally turned to face me. I couldn't look away, and he didn't blink. We just stood there, staring at each other across the broken remnants of the vase.
