'Fuck! these people are still watching as if this is some K-drama where miracles happen at the end though I am suffering in pain right now and WHERE IS THE DAMMNED AMBULANCE AT?' thought Shane with fury seeing the situation around him. But he soon composed himself to reply to the girl.
"Well, that guy's name is S***** I call him with that nickname you heard. He is my best friend heck you can say he is a brother form another mother to me. We grew up from the time we were in kinder garden where we were similar in motives but different in approaches almost like rivals." replied to the girl.
"So, he is your BFF but why did you not tell him about your situation right now?" inquired the girl.
"Yeah, you can say something like that. And that idiot doesn't need to know about the predicament I am in. he will probably joke about it or something then do something reckless. He doesn't need to bother with me here when he is abroad. Besides the pain is subsiding. It's just if the damn ambulance comes to take me that will be great as I am losing blood continuously though slowly." said Shane giving the girl a bit about his past with his supposed brother.
"I see, do u wish I call any other member of your family to come be with you to help you maybe." asked the girl concern that Shane might want to talk with his parents.
"No need I am not losing so much blood that it is fatal but if that ambulance doesn't come, I might have to give my parents a call." said Shane weakly thinking about the time that was passed which should be around 10-15 minutes after his collision and his Parents who will be very worried when they get the news of their son's accident.
"don't worry brother I'll call them through your phone because the ambulance is here already and I already called my father who is a government officer who can help you." said the girl with little happiness in her voice as she sees the blue and red light and a few hurried footsteps coming from the parting crowd.
"Thank you girlie well then take care." said Shane a little happy as he also saw the personal who came to take him to the hospital. 'Man, you guys are slow was the traffic that bad. well, at least now I don't have to worry about being dead.' thought Shane relived about the arrival.
'If I were to be your employer, I would eat your ears because of the damn delay you guys did to bring someone with an accident like mine' complained Shane thought in his mind as he can't say due to the pain that reignited due to the movement of his body from the ground to the stretcher.
'And damn you people are really fucking free in the morning, aren't you? watching this whole ordeal till now' Shane taught while looking at the crowd that is present as the doors of the ambulance is closed and he is taken away. After some time, a car pulled over to the previous accident zone where the girl is still standing. The window slid down, and a man opened the door allowing the girl to take the seat.
"Now do you see the trouble and danger there is on the roads" the man started slowly as if he is not pissed at all but totally is which the girl knew. The girl nodded her head furiously and replied "Yes, Daddy I thought I was gonna die but that kind big brother saved me. Daddy, we have to save him at least pay for his medical bills for what he did." asked the girl while hugging her dad hoping to do something to at least repay the favor she owns.
"Of course, he risked his life to save my precious daughter's life Afterall. If I don't even do that, what kind of role model will I be. Driver take us to the Hospital the young man was send to" ordered the girl's father while stroking his daughter's head lovingly.

Shane's home we see a woman who was working in the kitchen but suddenly she turns looking at the picture of her eldest son Shane's as if some unexplainable force is telling her to go near the photo. She walked near the photo observing for some minutes at the face in the photo which was smiling but the smile doesn't seem like the one she remembers in Shane's younger days. for unexplainable reason she picks the photo and caresses the photo while muttering that her son be safe and find more friends and become sociable as if he can hear her words through the glass.
Just then her youngest came over not even 3 years roaming around the house playing. while playing with his eyes closed the little one did not see that he was about to collide with the sharp edge of a table which might hurt his eye. Seeing this the mother almost reflectively went after her youngest leaving everything from her hands even her eldest son's photo which she was holding dearly.
Finally, she was able to catch her son's head before it hit the edge saving him just then the sound of breaking glass was heard when she looked over it was her eldest son's photo which fell down gaining few cracks as she went a picked it, she was able to see the cracks that ran from the left side of the photo's head to the bottom stomach area while some small pieces of broken glass were there here and there around the picture's chest area.
After seeing the damage, she scolded her youngest a bit just saying he would get hurt when he walks with his eyes closed and went to clean the mess while keeping the youngest away preventing him from steeping on glass shards/pieces. she done this while keeping the photo to the side. After cleaning the room, she started to remove the glass pieces slowly. As she removed them, she can't tell why but she felt like the picture in the photo was showing a smile that was different from before like it was trying to reassure her about the future while saying {Don't worry about me mom, no matter where I am I'll be fine and I'll be back}. She can't explain why she was thinking these things as if Shane himself was saying but she left it at the back of her mind.
But as she kept these thoughts at the back of her mind her phone buzzed a call from her son. "Wonder why he is calling now, when he should be in the class" she mused as she picked the call up but instead of her son's voice a girl's voice came through and just after some time water started forming in her eyes slowly starting to fall through her cheeks down onto the floor as she collapsed under the pressure of the news.

Shane's friend was seen standing with his phone. likely just after ending the call with his best friend he looked at the phone strangely "what was that about Shane? Asking for promises suddenly. Though you try to hide I can clearly tell your in some trouble but like before in the past, I'll let you be the one to take care of it yourself. Though it sounds real problematic, but you can take care of it your heart is the strongest and kindest (while also being evil) I've seen till now in anyone and if it truly becomes too much for you to handle, I hope you don't forget that I'm still present." thought S***** outloud clearly able to see that Shane's call and behavior is different from normal. clearly trying to solve what Shane was hiding.
But out of all the bizarre ideas he thought he never guessed the real reason till he heard the news after a few hours because of which he regretted in the future thinking back that this is the final talk they had at that time, and they didn't talk much.

Shane's father was working joyfully doing the daily chores within his job. "What a good day today is, no complaints, no calls, no meetings, just normal stuff" Shane's father spoke with joy about the positive stress-free work from morning, but a single call had made that day complete 180 which came right about now *BUZZ* *BUZZ*.
After picking the call there were various emotions that flashed through the man's face while listening to the call. At first it was confusion, then daze, then denial, then dread, then sadness. After going through all the emotions his face became cold as if it was solid metal. He picked his stuff and for the first time in his entire career ordered his subordinates to take care of everything as he went straight home to pick his wife and his youngest son while they all went towards the hospital in silence. The only sound being in the car is from their youngest who doesn't even speak words properly and is playing.

A pristine white color car pulled up dropping two people at the entrance of the hospital, one tall man and one girl whose head is just reaching the shoulder of the other. Both started hurrying into the hospital reaching the helpdesk. There we see that the two figures who came over where the girl who Shane rescued and the man with her who is her father. They ask for directions and details about Shane from the person in charge there.
After getting the details the girl has already started moving towards the direction of the Operation Theatre while the father followed close behind. Reaching the theatre the father and daughter duo has seen the doctors moving here and there likely due to the operating theatre being full and almost all the surgeons and working at a time on groups of people.
Seeing all the rush the girl did not know in which theatre her savior is being kept nor if his operation has started and started to get worried. Seeing his daughter start being anxious the father moved and reached a doctor who seemed to just come out after doing a surgery. The father stopped the doctor introducing himself and started to talk about their situation and purpose to come. Hearing the father's inquiry the doctor asked for details to a nearby nurse who was probably given the post to keep track of this kind of patients. She checked for details of the description of the victim in the accident and gave the details to doctor.
The doctor nodded his head and turned to the father to address the situation. "Sir, it seems the boy you are looking for has been taken to get prepared for the operation. Also, we are still waiting for his parents to come to sign the papers required and pay the bill" said the doctor professionally. "Can the boy even be kept like that? it has been quite some time that has been passed right?" asked the father. "Yes, it has been but for now it's alright. He doesn't seem to be in critical condition and besides as I said before we are waiting for the boy's parents to come to sign the papers of consent which is mandatory." replied the doctor but was cut off by the girl who has been eavesdropping in the conversation with a heavy heart "But it has already been some time and he has lost a lot of blood while waiting for your ambulance to come pick him up. Can't you just start the operation already." she asked a bit anxiously. But the doctor was still showing his years of honed patience and professionalism replying, "I understand your concern miss that the boy will be in danger if his operation is delayed by another 2 hours, but we can't start the operation if we don't have consent otherwise it will be trouble for us too".
"You need consent right. can it be said on phone?" asked the girl a bit hurriedly taking out her phone. "No, miss the consent should be given through the sign and there is also the issue of the payment that has to be paid. At least 4o% has to be paid." Replied the doctor apologetically. hearing this the girl stopped reaching for Shane's phone which she used before to inform the parents about the accident and the hospital's details.
"Can you please just start the operation doctor I have a bad feeling that if it is delayed then big brother might be in danger, please" pleaded the girl to the doctor. seeing his daughter be so distraught the man sighed " *sigh* doctor you see I am the Deputy of Police, if there is any problem I'll take care of it if you can promise that the operation will be a success. I can't see a good young man die due to some formalities; I'll even talk with his parents when they come and explain everting myself and pay the bill. please, go and start the operation." said the father revealing his status and position which he wanted to keep a secret but now can't due to seeing his daughter's crying face.
"Oh! so, you're the Deputy why haven't you said so before sir. since, you have given your word then we will prepare and start the operation right away." said the doctor a bit gleefully breaking from his professionalism from before. the doctor hurriedly turned giving a few orders to the nurse following him and moving to the operation to change and start the operation.
Soon Shane was seen being pushed into a vacant operation room probably to start the operation. "Thank god, they allowed for the operation to start without the consent. Father your amazing." said the girl giving her father a hug. seeing his daughter's watery eyes become normal and praising him made him smile lovingly towards his daughter while stroking her hair. "Well, we better go and pay the bill already since the boy has been taken inside. otherwise, they might complain again. while we are at it, we'll also keep an eye around to see if his parents come. okay?" asked the father to his daughter.
"Yes, daddy it's good that brother can be saved quick. If he wakes up, I want to talk to him more." said the girl excitedly about the prospect of talking and gaining a new friend. "*ugh*" seeing the girl's excited face her father couldn't help but feel like he wanted to have a chat with a certain someone.
Afterwards they have gone and paid the payment for the operation and were returning when suddenly they heard a loud voice and commission.
"HOW IS HE EVEN ALIVE?" "His left side almost seems dented where the stomach seems to cave in a bit making the heart bend towards his inside a little." "Damn this is dangerous. Nurse, I taught you said there was not much danger. so, WHAT IS THIS? he seems pretty much on the edge of time to me".
