[ hello Jude! Time to wake up!!]
An unfamiliar voice rang across the room.
Who are you? What are you?? I can't see you! Where are you??!!
[ I'm ...um...lets just call me...The Voice]
The voice? What a peculiar name .
[ Yes Jude , I have come to mourn the death of your siblings with you] "it said in a pitiful tone.
I didn't even know when tears began flowing down my eyes until they began dropping down to my hands. I couldn't get over it. I can't bear the fact that they are dead .
I can't live like this,
I muttered to myself in an inaudible tone.
[ Of course you can't , you're the reason they are dead anyways]
What? How am I the reason??! What makes me the reason!!??
I yelled in anger. I couldn't control my emotions ,I mean , who am I to have known that a demon would appear and kill all my siblings?
[ Well, do you want to know something then? Even if that demon strangled you for a week straight, you still wouldn't have died.]
Huh?! What do you mean, "I wouldn't have died?".
I was seriously dumbfounded by what the voice was saying.
You see Jude, instead of bluntly saying that you wouldn't die, how about I give you several examples of what was suppose to kill you but it didn't. Let me start with when you were in 9th grade, you got pushed by someone who hated you cause you got a higher score than him to the road and got hit by a truck. Of course in a regular situation, you were suppose to die but you didn't, and also that time in your 11th grade that you got stabbed by a woman on your neck because she was drunk but hey, you didn't die and not long ago, you were being strangled by a very powerful royal blooded demon but guess what, you're not dead. And I can still recall many other times you were suppose to.....
Alright! That's enough!! How do you even know all these things anyway? Your voice isn't familiar and I can't even recognize it, yet you know things that I have forgotten a long time ago. Just what exactly are you and what do you mean I am not dead?
[ I can't answer all these questions questions Jude but I can tell you what I am made of . I am more like an inner persona buried deep inside of you and when the time comes, I will reveal myself to you and the world.]
He said as a bright light flashed on me.
Well it looks like your plane has arrived. "The voice said".
It was nice talking to you but unfortunately, I can't answer all of questions, at least not now but maybe another time? See you around Jude!
Wait no!! Where am I going??!!
I felt a strong force lift me off the ground and before I could ask anything, everything became blurry and I couldn't hear anything but a small voice calling out my name. It kinda sounded like who... again?
JUDE!!??
What?! "I jolted in fear off the bed I was laying down on but my vision still wasn't that clear to know who it was standing in front of me.
Jude!! You are awake!!
The person said as it hugged me tightly. When I finally sobered up, I realized the person hugging me was Charlotte and that I was in her house.
(Note: Charlotte is Jude's girlfriend)
What....am I doing here? How did I get here?
"I asked Charlotte who breathed out deeply before continuing.
Well, it was raining like hell last night when I got back to school to get my bag and umbrella after helping Mrs Owen to take her documents to her house, and as I was walking home , I saw someone walking under the rain, wobbling and shivering all over. I thought he was mad so I ignored it . Not until the person fell to the ground, and when I got closer , I noticed it was you and I quickly called a taxi that took us home . I knew it was too late to start heading to your place so since my house was close, I brought you here instead and got you a change of clothes. I thought you would wake up the next morning but you didn't, so I kept waiting and waiting but you still didn't wake up. This is about the fifth day since you were unconscious and your family didn't even call, what's wrong?
Charlotte explained and asked what was going on. But being asleep for five days straight?
Of course they wouldn't call .( I said bluntly as I stood up from the bed)
Excuse me? What do you mean?? Did they disown you or something?
' Charlotte asked in a very confused tone'.
I wish that's what happened. "I mumbled to myself".
Jude, tell me what is going on right now!! You have been acting weird. First ,you collapsed under the rain , had several nightmares while you were unconscious and now, your family act like they don't care about you anymore. Did you fight with them?
Charlotte is obviously worried I can tell by her tone and expression.
It's because my family is.....(I paused)

Oh no , why can't I say it. As I remembered what happened, my heart began to ache to bitterly, I began to bite my lips and tears began to drop from my eyes. I also suddenly became so weak that I fell to the ground with aching all over my body. And with concern, Charlotte as well bent down to comfort me, even though she doesn't know what the problem is yet.
You don't have to tell me if you are not ready, I will wait.
"She said in an understanding tone".
It's not ....that (sniffle) ...I don't (sniffle)want ....to tell you...it's just....(sniffle)
It is alright Jude, you don't have to worry about it. Just get some rest so you can be your best . (She said while escorting me back to the bed)
I must say, I felt a whole lot better after being comforted. I think this is just what I need right now. I thought while I was gradually drifting off to sleep . And the last thing I heard was ...
