The wedding anniversary hall looked bright and fancy. Four large tables were draped with shimmering gold tablecloths, each holding a stand with white flowers.
In front of all the tables stood a raised stage, its backdrop layered with white and gold draped curtains. The sofa on the stage was softly decorated in pink for the main couple.
Soft lighting highlighted the decor, giving the space a warm, upscale ambiance.
As guests continued to arrive, Gu Liang moved through the hall greeting them, while Gu Lina chatted with a few friends.
Smiles and laughter lifted everyone's spirits, while the clinking of glasses and cheerful chatter filled the air.
"Ma, Pa", Gu Liang called out as his parents entered the room. He walked towards them and Gu Lina joined him to help their parents to their table.
His mother wore a beautiful light pink cheongsam and his father a silver suit.
"Ma, you look so pretty", Lina said as she helped her to sit down.
