Chapter 55 - Batman Vs Superman

Sigurd then looked toward Diana in front of him.

"You should be careful; there might be big trouble approaching this world. So prepare yourself."

Diana looked toward the person in front of her. She was in a dilemma about whether to ask something, but when she heard there might be trouble, she focused her thoughts on the important matter.

"What kind of trouble is approaching?"

Lucifer also wanted to know why Sigurd was staying here.

Sigurd looked toward both of them and then shook his head.

"I don't know exactly, but I have a feeling that it has something to do with Superman."

Diana looked toward Sigurd with surprise.

"What do you mean by Superman? He is already indestructible. If he is the source of trouble, then it will be a big problem."

Sigurd looked toward the distance and then spoke.

"No, he isn't the problem. Even if he were the problem, it wouldn't be difficult, but he might have some connection."

Just when Sigurd was talking with Diana and Lucifer, in a sealed government area, a bald person was walking toward a spaceship which looked more like an alien craft.

A person in a security uniform appeared in front of the bald person.

"Mr. Luthor, you should finish your work quickly. If anyone finds out, my job will be gone."

Lex Luthor looked toward the security guard with assurance.

"Relax, your job won't be in trouble." Just then he came behind the guard and slit his throat. "After all, a dead person doesn't need a job."

Lex Luthor signaled his men to bring the equipment.

"Assemble everything. Before dawn, I want to complete the experiment before anyone doubts our involvement. Also, did you execute the plan?"

The assistant walked toward Lex.

"Sir, our men have already locked onto the target. On your signal, we can capture them."

Lex Luthor nodded, then he walked toward the ship while giving instructions.

"Start the plan at 7 in the evening. Leave this place; I will stay here alone."

Lex didn't stop his footsteps but walked inside the chamber of the spaceship, where a monster-like alien was kept. It seemed dead, but Lex looked toward it as if it were treasure.

Just as Lex was experimenting on the body with high-voltage electricity, what he didn't know was that a black shadow had slipped into the alien's body.

Sigurd, who was in the high-level building, suddenly felt that his instinct was correct. Then he looked toward the source.

"So this is the source of trouble, but it doesn't look strong."

Diana, who had been following Sigurd since morning, didn't want to leave him until she got her answer.

"Where is it? We should go and destroy it before it damages anything."

Sigurd looked toward the source, but he wanted to know why he had felt its presence before it could appear.

"Don't worry, it won't create a problem, but I need some answers. If it could give me an answer, then it would be great."

Then he looked toward Lucifer.

"What's your plan?"

Lucifer shook his head, then looked toward Diana, and suddenly he had an idea.

"I will be going to do some work, and then I will come back."

Sigurd looked toward Lucifer. Looking at his behavior, he knew Lucifer was up to something, but he didn't think too much about it.

Sigurd was waiting patiently, but Diana grew nervous as time passed.

Just then, a big battle broke out between Superman and Batman in an abandoned building area.

Sigurd, who was always focused on the alien, looked toward the direction and saw Batman and Superman fighting.

Then he waved his hand, and both he and Diana disappeared from the place.

They reappeared in the abandoned buildings.

Looking at the mortal who had almost broken Superman—who was technically a god to humans—Sigurd asked, "Do they have any grudge between themselves?"

Diana shook her head.

"It shouldn't be. They don't even know each other's original identity."

Just as Batman was about to stab Superman with a Kryptonite spear, Superman said, "Save Martha."

Batman looked toward Superman, confused.

Sigurd suddenly dispersed the magic that was hiding them.

Batman looked toward the person appearing.

"Why did you appear here? Are you the mastermind?"

Sigurd didn't respond but looked toward the Kryptonite and then toward Superman.

"Quite a unique genetic trait you have. This should be useful against all of your kind."

Hearing Sigurd's words, Superman was surprised. Even Batman looked toward him with confusion.

"What do you mean by that? Are there more Kryptonians coming to Earth?"

Sigurd shook his head, then looked toward both of them.

"Why are you fighting? Do you have any grudge, or is he destroying your world?"

Batman, who heard the question, was startled.

"No, but he is a danger to Earth. A being like him could destroy everything."

Sigurd looked at Batman and then spoke.

"But the way I see it, you humans have created more problems for yourselves than any other beings."

Then he turned toward the location where the Kryptonian ship was kept.

"Even now, one is creating something he can't control, but you guys are blaming others. Quite a unique way to die."

Hearing the words, Batman suddenly realized someone had been distracting him and Superman.

Superman, who had regained his strength, looked toward Sigurd.

"I need to save my mother and Lois. I hope you guys can help."

Diana looked toward him. Just then, Batman spoke.

"I will go."

Sigurd looked toward them going to save people, but Sigurd didn't join them, nor did Diana.

Diana looked toward Sigurd.

"Why don't you destroy the thing before it regains its power? You can get answers at a different time."

Sigurd shook his head.

"Diana, the world needs to know that what they created isn't a power they should play with. They need to pay for their actions. If their actions don't have a price, then they won't change their path. Let's wait and see. The world has to feel the terror of the creatures they created."

Diana didn't agree with Sigurd's way of looking at the world, but she couldn't do anything.

"Even if you don't join the battle early, I will."

Sigurd looked at her face and then remembered his wife.

"You definitely will. After all, your mother's character is also the same. But you don't have to worry. I will be there."

Just then, a huge blast occurred near the Kryptonian ship. A huge roar could be heard all over.

Sigurd looked at the creature.

"Why do I feel familiar with this creature?"
