Chapter 2: Strongest Spear Meets Hardest Fist, A Clash of Peaks!

Darkness.

Boundless darkness.

A sense of weightlessness came from all directions, making Garp feel as if he were falling endlessly.

"Hmm?"

Garp frowned and looked around.

There was nothing here.

No wind, no sound, no light.

"Hey! Stinking brat!"

"What kind of ghost place did you send me to!"

His roar echoed in this strange silence but received no response.

Garp curled his lips and began to move his limbs.

"Playing mysterious tricks."

His battle-hardened intuition told him there was no danger here.

The next second.

In the pitch-black void, specks of starlight suddenly lit up.

Countless colorful fragments emerged from the depths of the darkness, slowly rotating around him like a galaxy.

Each fragment reflected a completely different image.

A blonde teenager wearing orange clothes, gathering a high-speed rotating blue energy ball between his hands.

A man in pitch-black armor, emitting heavy breathing sounds, wielding a red sword of light.

A giant green monster, rampaging through a city, letting out earth-shaking roars.

Garp's eyes widened slightly.

"What... are these things?"

He reached out, trying to touch the fragment closest to him.

In that fragment was a white-haired dog demon with a crescent moon mark on his forehead, wielding a giant demonic sword.

His finger passed through the fragment without obstruction, not causing a single ripple.

"Hallucinations?"

Garp withdrew his hand, a look of impatience appearing on his face.

"What's the use of all this flashy stuff!"

"One million Berries, just to show me this?"

He clenched his fist, his knuckles cracking like popping beans.

"When I get out, I'm definitely going to flip that white-haired kid's stall!"

Just then.

All the surrounding fragments began to spin faster.

Flowing light danced, images intersected.

Finally, all the scenes froze on one spot.

It was a land scorched by flames of war.

A man.

A dark-skinned man, his body muscular to the extreme, stood alone within an encirclement of tens of thousands of ninjas.

He was shirtless, his bronzed muscles as indestructible as rock, covered in crisscrossing scars.

Crackle!

Blue-purple electric arcs danced wildly on his body, emitting ear-piercing roars, making him look like a descending god of thunder.

Garp's pupils shrank fiercely.

The impatience on his face disappeared.

Replacing it was the excitement of a hunter seeing prey.

"Oh?"

He grinned, revealing teeth as white as a dense forest.

"This guy..."

"Looks a bit interesting!"

At that moment, a cold, emotionless mechanical voice rang out in Garp's mind.

[Dungeon Selected: Strongest Spear]

[Mission Objective: Survive the Third Raikage's onslaught, or defeat him.]

[Countdown Start]

Huge blood-red numbers emerged in front of Garp, each number's appearance causing the entire space to vibrate violently.

[3]

Garp's muscles tensed instantly, his eyes becoming incredibly sharp.

[2]

He grinned and laughed loudly, his laughter booming and uninhibited.

"BWAHAHAHA!"

"Bring it on! Let me meet this Strongest Spear of yours!"

[1]

He fiercely assumed a stance, an invisible spirit soaring into the sky.

[0]

The moment the countdown hit zero.

Garp's figure was swallowed by a strong light and disappeared from his spot.

Land of Lightning.

Ravine of Clouds and Lightning.

Boom!

A deafening roar resounded through the clouds, the rolled-up air waves blowing the gravel off the mountain walls.

A giant beast with a body comparable to a mountain was rampaging madly.

It had octopus tentacles and bull horns; eight hideous tails danced wildly behind it, each swing enough to raze a mountaintop to the ground.

Eight-Tails, Gyuki!

"Quick! Scatter!"

"Earth Style: Mud Wall can't hold it!"

"Water Style jutsu are completely useless!"

Countless Hidden Cloud ninjas fled miserably in the canyon, their faces written with terror and despair.

The ninjutsu they were so proud of was as fragile as paper in front of this rampaging Tailed Beast.

Just then.

A tall, burly figure stood in front of everyone.

He had dark skin, knotted muscles, and his whole body was wrapped in visible blue electric light, the blinding arcs crackling.

Third Raikage, Ay.

"Everyone stand back."

His voice wasn't loud, but it carried an unquestionable majesty, clearly reaching every ninja's ears.

"Lord Raikage!"

A ninja wearing goggles with bandages wrapped around his face rushed to his side, his tone extremely anxious.

"The Eight-Tails has completely lost control! It's too dangerous for you alone!"

"Dodai."

The Third Raikage didn't turn his head, his gaze locked dead on the distant, roaring Eight-Tails.

"This is my responsibility as Raikage."

"For the village, for my comrades, I must stop it."

His tone was calm, yet it contained a determination as heavy as a mountain.

"But your body..." Dodai wanted to persuade him further.

"Shut up!"

The Third Raikage shouted in a low voice.

"This is an order!"

"Before I take care of it, your mission is to evacuate all civilians, every last one of them!"

As his voice fell.

The lightning on his body suddenly surged!

Blue-purple chakra was like boiling magma, wrapping his entire person, forming an indestructible armor of lightning.

Strongest Shield, Lightning Release Chakra Mode!

The ground beneath his feet cracked inch by inch as he turned into a blue lightning bolt, preparing to rush toward the tyrannical Eight-Tails.

The moment he moved.

The Third Raikage's movements suddenly stagnated.

He stopped.

His sharp, falcon-like eyes suddenly turned to another direction in the canyon.

Dodai was stunned.

"Lord Raikage?"

The Third Raikage didn't answer him.

He just stared fixedly in that direction, the muscles all over his body instantly tensed to the extreme, the arcs on his Lightning Armor jumping even more violently.

There, an aura had appeared.

An aura he had never felt before—brutal, domineering, vast as the ocean!

The intensity of this aura even made him temporarily ignore the rampaging Eight-Tails!

"Who goes there..."

The Third Raikage's voice became incredibly grave.

"Get out here!"

His violent shout mixed with thunder, echoing endlessly throughout the Ravine of Clouds and Lightning.

At the other end of the canyon.

A figure descended from the sky, smashing onto the ground with a boom, kicking up a circle of dust.

"Cough cough... this teleportation experience really isn't great."

Garp patted the dust off his body, muttering with dissatisfaction.

He raised his head and looked around.

Everywhere were jagged cliffs towering into the clouds, the air filled with a burnt smell and a faint scent of ionization.

"Oh?"

He saw the giant octopus-cow wreaking havoc in the distance.

"BWAHAHAHA!"

"What a huge fellow! This trip was worth it!"

Garp's face instantly filled with an excited smile. He squeezed his fists, his knuckles making cracking sounds, ready to rush up and give that big guy a "Fist of Love".

Just then, a violent shout mixed with thunder reached his ears.

"Get out here!"

Garp's movements stopped.

He turned his head and looked in the direction the voice came from.

He saw him.

At the end of the canyon, that dark-skinned macho man wrapped in blue lightning.

The other party was staring dead at him with an extremely oppressive gaze.

That look was full of vigilance, hostility, and a trace of... excitement at meeting a worthy opponent?

Garp grinned, his smile becoming even more uninhibited.

"BWAHAHAHA!"

"So the main attraction is over here!"

He ignored the still-roaring Eight-Tails and strode forward, walking step by step toward the Third Raikage.

With every step that landed, the ground trembled slightly.

An invisible momentum rose from his body, like an awakening ancient behemoth—violent, brutal, and unreasonable!

"That stinking brat didn't lie to me."

Garp moved his wrists as he walked, making bursts of popping sounds.

"This opponent..."

"I like him!"
