After seeing those words to my mom, there was a way she stared. I could tell she was thinking of me in confusion.
"Of course, she will know what your dad looks like," Jaxon said, but I shrugged.
"From what I have heard, Mom, you saw him several years ago, so you don't know what he looks like. I am sure of that, and also, I can tell that she would not even recognize him if she ever got to see him; she would only have his old image in her head." I said to Jaxon, who nodded and began acting like someone remembering something.
Mum soon regained herself as she stood up, and we escorted her into the sitting room after making sure she turned to me with a pitiful look.
"How many years ago did you last see him, mum?" I said to her as she began to think.
" I know what your father looks like, of course," she said as I shrugged.
"I saw him the last 13 years ago, and honestly, I am not sure I would ever be able to recognize him so easily. " she hesitantly muttered.
