Chapter 8 - 8

Get out of here!"

Shen He, while controlling the mech, used a loudspeaker to disperse the crowd.

At this time, the citizens of New York had not yet experienced that great battle, and their adaptability was far inferior to what it would be later; many were simply stunned with fear.

Bang!

The sound of colliding vehicles came, and Shen He glanced over to see several black trucks rushing towards him.

The open rear compartments of the trucks were clearly equipped with heavy weapons like Gatling guns.

Very good, very powerful; a gang is this strong! As expected of Marvel.

But now is not the time to complain.

Following the instructions in his mind, Shen He activated the aiming system, raised both palms sharply, and several spherical hadron cannons blasted out from the inside of his hands, accurately hitting the enemies under the automatic locking system.

For a moment, the once peaceful street became like a battlefield; charred debris and scorching flames were scattered everywhere, explosions and screams intertwined, and the air was filled with the smell of iron and burnt black smoke.

Civilian casualties were unavoidable.

Shen He's playful mood subsided somewhat, but more and more gang members surged forward.

These bastards!

Shinkirou's absolute defensive force field, due to energy issues, could only defend the front of the mech.

Moreover, Shen He was a novice, very clumsy in his control, and the opponents were all ruthless thugs who used Rocket launchers like handguns.

In an instant, Shen He made a decision.

Prioritize protecting civilians and delay until Saiki Kusuo deals with those people in the tall buildings.

After all, I am a Master; why would I leave my Servant and run to the enemy's front lines?

"Everyone run this way!"

Smashing open the glass door of a nearby tall building, the giant Shinkirou mech expanded its pink defensive force field to its maximum, blocking the incoming bombardment and creating a safe zone in the chaotic street.

Wait, is that a missile?

On several newly appeared enemy trucks, some warheads with a diameter of thirty to forty centimeters were clearly mounted!

This is not good; even if it's blocked, the explosion will turn the surroundings into hell.

Just as Shen He was in a predicament.

Boom—!

A white light flashed, and the gang members, who were about to launch missiles, were accurately hit by small tracking bullets.

"What's going on?"

A red and gold armor descended from high in the sky.

It was Iron Man, who had left but then returned.

"Tony, I'll protect the civilians; you take care of those gang members." Shen He's face lit up with joy.

"Gang members? You mean these are gang members? Are they really not Terrorists? And where did you get this mech?" Tony recognized Shen He's voice.

While attacking, his attention was also instantly drawn to Shinkirou.

"Sir, that is a powerful defensive force field never seen before."

"Alright, it looks like those two have a big secret. Jarvis, see where these 'gang members' came from." Tony was slightly annoyed because he found Shinkirou seemed even cooler than his armor.

"Yes, Sir. Their markings indicate they are from the Skull Gang of Brooklyn."

"A cliché name, sounds like a horror-comedy for kids at nine o'clock at night."

With Tony's addition, Shen He's pressure was greatly reduced, and he could even save a few more people. What he didn't know was that this cool mech had already been photographed by many people and posted online, circulating wildly worldwide in a short time.

Saiki Kusuo also dealt with his enemies and instantly teleported back to Shen He's side, secretly helping with his psychic powers.

"Sir, you have a call from someone displayed as the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D." Tony, who was searching for remaining enemies, suddenly heard this reminder.

"Alright, connect it."

"Tony." Fury's voice sounded very angry. "Now, take your friends back to your Villa, immediately, if you don't want to be detained by the Police."

"Wait, they're not my friends." Tony hadn't finished speaking when the call was cut off. "He hung up on me? He actually hung up on Iron Man, Tony Stark."

Tony mumbled, but still flew to Shen He's mech.

"Hey, big guy, follow me. I'm quite interested in your battle armor."

"Let's follow him, Qi Mu. The Sun is about to set." Shen He looked at the sky and controlled the mech to follow.

If there was any place in this World that could avoid trouble, Tony's residence was one. As a famous wealthy magnate, billionaire, and Iron Man, ordinary people truly wouldn't dare to invade his residence casually.

As he left, Shen He glanced at the ruins of the street below. Some bewildered people were trying to find lost companions, very real, and very cruel.

In such a World, ordinary people simply had no ability to determine their own fate; they were merely supporting characters used to embellish the achievements of heroes.

"This is your Villa; it's really luxurious."

Shen He controlled the mech to land on a helicopter landing pad. Before him was a luxurious Villa full of modern artistic sense, covering an area of over several thousand square meters, with a swimming pool, a large underground garage, a helicopter landing pad—everything you could imagine could be found here.

"To be precise, it's one of the Villas." Tony also took off his armor. "Perhaps you should consider how to face them."

In front of the landing pad, two men in black suits were walking towards them. One was Coulson, and the other was a bald Black man wearing an eyepatch, undoubtedly the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., Nick Fury.

"Gentlemen, perhaps I should say, welcome to the U.S., but aren't you going to give me an explanation?" Fury strode up to Shen He. "You turned an entire street into a battlefield, showcasing your giant mech in front of the whole World. Do you know how many civilians were injured?"

"You want an explanation?" Shen He patted the mech beside him, and a tightly bound man fell out from inside. "This is the explanation: a HYDRA Agent, is that enough, Director Fury?"

"A HYDRA Agent?" Fury was clearly startled. "That's impossible; they've already—"

"They were all wiped out by Captain America decades ago?" Shen He finished Fury's sentence, shaking his head. "Too naive. HYDRA was never eliminated; for decades, they have been hiding among you. Clearly, we inadvertently found evidence of their existence, which led to such an attack."

"Who exactly are you people?"

Fury's expression became serious.

These two suddenly appearing people were truly too mysterious. Not only did they possess incomprehensible superpowers and a seemingly very advanced mech, but they also knew S.H.I.E.L.D., knew his name, and even knew HYDRA.

"Haven't I told you?" Shen He smiled slightly. "We come from the Human Order Security Organization, Chaldea. You are not the only ones who have been protecting the World from the shadows."

I feel like I'm writing a single-player novel that no one reads, so sad.
