Chapter 10 - 10

Saiki Kusuo remained silent.

No one had ever said anything like that to him before.

But that was normal; as the protagonist of a comedy manga, there wasn't a single normal person around him, and besides, Saiki Kusuo had always tried his best to hide the fact that he possessed superpowers.

"Done, try it." Shen He held out a cup of coffee pudding, "They even have a rapid freezing machine here, so it should taste good."

Saiki Kusuo snapped out of his thoughts and, under Shen He's expectant gaze, took the cup and took a delicious bite.

Mmm.

His eyes widened slightly.

"It's delicious! Even better than the 2950 yen coffee pudding."

"Uh."

Shen He glanced at the World-class ingredients placed nearby.

Never mind, as long as it tastes good.

"I'll make some more for you to take back." Shen He turned around and continued working, "Oh, and the dungeon refresh time is 1 AM every day. Since you still have school, you can decide when to run the dungeon. Also, unless it's an emergency, I'll notify you before summoning you, to prevent you from suddenly disappearing in front of people."

He rattled off a few more things, mostly considering Saiki Kusuo's convenience.

Shen He had already begun to embrace and adapt to his role as a Master.

"No problem."

Finally, Saiki Kusuo, carrying a full bag of coffee pudding, applied to return in his mind according to the instructions.

A prompt also popped up on the virtual interface of the system that Shen He had opened. He waved his hand, and after agreeing, he was the only one left in the entire kitchen.

Such a large house, yet so empty.

"Jarvis." Shen He returned to his room.

"Guest, do you have any commands?"

The voice of the artificial intelligence, Jarvis, appeared in the room.

As Tony's residence, this place was naturally more complex than it appeared on the surface, hiding various high-tech features, and the intelligent butler, Jarvis, could monitor every corner of the house at all times.

This was also why Tony felt at ease letting Shen He stay.

"I want to search for some things online. Can you help me?"

"Yes, guest."

Upon hearing the reply, Shen He's eyes flickered slightly.

First, he needed to figure out which Marvel Universe this was.

Marvel, a major IP from his old World, had a crucial setting: numerous parallel universes, with movies, comics, and animations each having different storylines and even Worldviews.

Judging from the previous hearing, the possibility of this being the movie Universe was highest.

At the same time, other parts of this World also changed due to Shen He's appearance.

A large group of fully armed Police stormed into the most chaotic area of Brooklyn under command. Besides the Skull Gang, which had already suffered heavy losses, other gangs were also fiercely attacked.

These gangs, who usually seemed arrogant, were no match for the serious special forces.

The fierce gun battle lasted only half an hour before an Agent in a black suit walked out and approached Coulson.

"Officer, the Skull Gang leader is dead, he poisoned himself. We haven't found any useful information either."

"Still a step too late. Did you find out where their weapons came from?" Coulson's expression was a little grim.

As a fan of Captain America, he couldn't possibly be unaware of HYDRA, Captain America's archenemy. They were ruthless, fanatical, unscrupulous, and extremely cunning.

"From the captured thugs, we learned that it seems to be related to the Brooklyn Police Chief."

"Police Chief?"

Coulson was startled but quickly reacted, "No need for a search warrant, go directly and apprehend him."

"But..." The Agent's subordinate looked troubled, "We just received news that the Police Chief is also dead, poisoned himself."

...They're really decisive, abandoning a Police Chief just like that." Coulson shook his head, "Let's pack up and go back. We'll give the credit here to the Police."

By the time Coulson returned to S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters to report, Director Fury had already received the news.

"Coulson, what do you think?"

Director Fury sat in his chair, appearing unusually calm, but Coulson, who knew his Director well, understood that this was a sign of suppressed anger.

"Decisive and ruthless, leaving no clues, very much like HYDRA's methods." Coulson spoke truthfully, "But it's also possible that another organization is imitating HYDRA's tactics, or even that Shen He himself is suspected of staging it."

"Staging it, huh."

Director Fury sneered and threw a document onto the table, "We used truth serum on the HYDRA Agent they captured, and guess what we found out? That Agent was a deep-cover S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent! And a Level Five! Are our vetting personnel all idiots? Or when did we allow Agents to work part-time outside, drawing two salaries!?"

Coulson picked up the interrogation document, flipped through it twice, and couldn't help but gasp.

"This is truly... terrible."

The interrogation document stated that this HYDRA Agent had received training at a HYDRA Base since childhood, and then was recruited into S.H.I.E.L.D. as an Agent.

This was clearly inconsistent with his S.H.I.E.L.D. record.

If this was the case, either HYDRA was too good at falsifying records, even deceiving S.H.I.E.L.D.'s investigation.

Or, there was a HYDRA mole within S.H.I.E.L.D., and their position was not low.

"I am willing to undergo a truth serum audit." Coulson stated immediately.

He knew very well that such an incident meant that S.H.I.E.L.D.'s internal integrity could no longer be trusted.

Director Fury's remaining single eye stared intently at Coulson for a long time before he slowly spoke, "No need. If I can't even trust you, then there's no one left to trust. Coulson, keep this matter to yourself for now."

"Director, do you mean..." Coulson seemed to understand something.

"Mm, I didn't bring that HYDRA Agent back for interrogation, so even S.H.I.E.L.D. internally doesn't know that we've discovered the tip of the iceberg; at most, they're just suspicious. We need time, we need to investigate in secret." Director Fury lightly tapped the table, "The two from Chaldea can't be HYDRA agents; they have no need to expose themselves. Also, our plan needs to be moved up."

For four whole days, Shen He had been holed up in Tony's Villa, running dungeons and enjoying the luxurious life of a wealthy man.

It was also from Level 7 onwards that the difficulty of leveling up became increasingly challenging. Spending an hour daily in the tenth floor of the Underground City wasn't enough for him to level up. Even Qi Shen, who was fed dog food by Shen He every day, only reached Level 4.

The main reason was that using enhancement stones required consuming magic power, and Shen He's natural magic power recovery each day was only sixty points. This resulted in him having a lot of dog food but no magic power to use it.

As for summoning stones, one per day, Shen He saved them all up for a guaranteed ten-pull.

This leisurely life continued until Tony's beautiful secretary, Pepper, stormed into the Villa in a rage.
