Chapter 195 - World Acceleration

[You never understood why your once gentle little sister, Dale, suddenly became so strange.]

[Now she is the goddess who rules the entire world. All disobedience and resistance have been completely purged by the Aberrant Beasts. And you, as her only "exception," are imprisoned in a crystal palace floating above the clouds, becoming her exclusive "treasure."]

[She sets aside most of each day to stay with you. She calls it "deep communication," but in truth it is nothing more than keeping you by her side, her fingers tracing your outline again and again, her eyes brimming with an unrestrained possessiveness.]

[You tried reasoning with her, hoping to awaken the gentleness she once had. But every time, what you received in return was her tightening embrace and a soft whisper: "Sister, just stay by my side."]

[The thought of escape grew wildly in your heart.]

[Taking advantage of the brief moments when she was handling affairs, you attempted three times to break through the palace barrier. But no matter where you fled—to the frozen polar regions, the depths of the sea, or even desolate ruins—she could always rely on the Honkai energy spread across the planet to sense you, pinpoint your location within moments, and then, with an irresistible gentleness, bring you back to the palace.]

[Soon, you gave up completely.]

[You knew too well that this sister before you, who could control the life of the entire planet, had always been watching you.]

[If you wanted to escape the fate of being "toyed with" by her, if you wanted to correct her twisted personality, the only way was to become stronger than her.]

[You began to actively draw in the Honkai energy within her body.]

[Day after day of mingling Honkai energy, your body evolved under the scouring force of her power, moving in the direction of "opposing Dale."]

[But Dale was evolving as well. As if sensing your intentions, her strength grew even greater, and her possessiveness became increasingly extreme—from merely spending a period of time each day clinging to you, to now wanting to stick to you almost every moment. Even if you simply turned around to drink water, she would immediately follow, wrap her arms around your waist from behind, bury her face in the hollow of your neck, her breath burning hot against your skin.]

[In this silent contest, you were always at a disadvantage.]

[Before her overwhelming power and near-pathological love, your evolution was nothing more than a drop in the ocean.

[And Dale's thoughts had never changed: you were the partner most compatible with her, and she would keep you by her side forever, until the end of time.]

"What the hell? This makes my little sister sound like some kind of yandere!"

Houraiji Kyuusyou irritably swiped away the text interface of the simulation system, a helpless flush rising on her face.

She turned her head to look at Delta beside her and shrugged, trying to mask the awkwardness. "Don't mind it. This system's simulation is completely nonsensical. It doesn't match your personality at all."

"I don't mind," Delta replied softly, nodding slightly. Yet a faint, almost imperceptible smile flickered through her eyes.

She quietly blocked part of the mental link she shared with her sister—those "yandere" scenarios in the simulation just now had been her own thoughts.

But that was only a test.

She wasn't actually a yandere.

Delta suddenly thought of something.

The simulation system existed to change a certain world.

The fusion given to her sister certainly wasn't meant for this kind of boring textual simulation.

Was it meant for her sister to complete the simulation, realize it within the dream world to confirm there were no problems, and then swap it into reality?

If that were the case, the current textual simulation was merely an initial test.

The true core should have been constructing an immersive dream simulation from the very beginning.

"Sister, you... you don't actually have any strange thoughts about me, do you?" Houraiji Kyuusyou asked tentatively, feeling uneasy under her gaze.

Because their hearts were connected, even if Delta said nothing, she could vaguely sense that burning emotion that surpassed ordinary sisterly affection.

Delta only smiled without answering, the light in her eyes growing deeper.

Houraiji Kyuusyou's heart sank abruptly—she could clearly feel that deep in her sister's heart, there truly existed thoughts of "liking" and "possessing" her, pure and obsessive.

"Well... actually, I already have someone I like," she blurted out in a hurry, trying to change the subject.

"A male?" Delta tilted her head. Her tone was calm, but Houraiji Kyuusyou keenly sensed the icy killing intent that instantly spread from her.

"N-no!" She waved her hands frantically, cold sweat breaking out across her back.

"I see. I don't mind," Delta said evenly. Yet Houraiji Kyuusyou could read the unspoken meaning—so long as it wasn't a male, everything else was irrelevant.

This kind of "not minding" that applied only to females left Houraiji Kyuusyou momentarily speechless.

"Let's go. We should head out," Delta said, turning first as her figure gradually dissolved into the radiance of the dream.

Houraiji Kyuusyou followed closely behind.

They had spent countless days and nights in the dream world, but in the real world, only a few hours had passed.

The humans and other creatures pulled into the dream were awakening one after another.

When many of them opened their eyes, complete memories from the dream simulation flooded into their minds—they firmly believed that they had "reincarnated" back into the past.

After investigation, the awakened ones discovered that in reality, the Kabane had indeed been gathered and fused by the two "goddesses," completely resolving the crisis, just as in their memories.

This only strengthened their conviction that everything in the dream had truly happened.

Those who had once injured Houraiji Kyuusyou during the godslaying war in the dream still harbored resentment: if Delta had not used "despicable means" to control their super soldiers, humanity would surely have succeeded in slaying the gods.

Yet the heavy price humanity had paid in that godslaying war created enormous divisions over whether to confront the goddesses again.

Some were obsessed with completing the unfinished godslaying plan. Some chose to ignore the existence of the goddesses and focus on developing themselves. Others decisively chose, "If you can't beat them, join them"—most of these had lived through the period of Delta's rule and deeply understood just how absurd her power was.

Even if humanity's super soldiers had not gone out of control, even if they joined forces, they would not have been able to injure her in the slightest.

The countless deaths of the resisters had already proven this. Rather than make meaningless sacrifices, it was better to attach themselves to the strong.

Although Delta's personal reputation was not particularly good, and her style was forceful, even carrying a certain preference for women, no one dared question her ability.

No matter which path the awakened chose, the memories they brought back from the dream became a catalyst for the rapid advancement of human civilization.

The Kabane were placed under centralized control. Resource acquisition was no longer difficult. Technological levels rose explosively.

But what they did not know was that the stronger civilization became, the stronger the power of Honkai would grow.

And the cycle in which Delta harvested Honkai energy crystals was significantly shortened as well.

This was precisely the plan she and Houraiji Kyuusyou had devised: allow humanity to rapidly complete its civilizational iteration within the dream, then directly "copy" the results into reality.

And the simulation system undoubtedly accelerated this process—the simulation results were reenacted within the dream, the memories fully retained, then synchronized with reality. Everything advanced in the direction they had anticipated.
