Chapter 1 - Prologue

Before the dawn of man and beast, before the oceans learned to breathe, there was Aetherion, the first light, the realm of gods. It stood beyond the stars, eternal and untouchable, where silence hummed with power. From the hands of the Supreme Being, Aetherion was born, and within it, the gods were shaped, beings of endless fire and purpose.

They were the appointed guardians, each charged with keeping balance over what would one day become creation.

Kaelith, Warden of Flame, gave birth to the sun and guarded its blaze.

Lyrana, Mistress of the Tides, sang the waters into motion.

Dravon, Sentinel of Stone, built the bones of mountains.

Seraphyne, Keeper of the Skies, scattered the winds and named the storms.

Erevos, Lord of Shadow, walked where no light could reach.

Myrran, Keeper of Time, watched the ticking of eternity. Aelora, the Life Weaver, sculpted beauty from the dust.

And Solthar, the Judge of Souls, measured every heart that would ever beat.

But among them rose one whose light burned too bright, Velithra, the goddess of wrath and dominion. Proud, radiant, and untamed, she was born from the purest spark of creation. Yet in her brilliance grew envy, and in her envy, rebellion.

---

The Supreme watched as the gods of Aetherion took their thrones, and with benevolent grace, granted each dominion over the realms beneath. To them was given power, to guard, to bless, to fulfill the whispered prayers of mortals who would one day walk the earth.

Among them, Velithra, goddess of wrath and dominion, ruled her lands with unmatched strength. Mortals built temples in her name, their offerings filling her altars day and night. But power breeds pride, and wrath does not bow to mercy. Where others healed, Velithra conquered. Where they gave life, she demanded obedience.

The people trembled under her reign. What once was reverence turned to fear, and fear turned to rebellion. The elders of men, keepers of ancient faith, sought refuge in the names of other gods. They raised prayers that pierced the veil of Aetherion itself, begging for deliverance from her hand.

Velithra's fury answered first. Enraged by their betrayal, she descended from Aetherion to the mortal world,.an act forbidden even to gods. Her wrath scorched the land, but in her defiance she sealed her fate. The Supreme, weary of her rage, turned His face away. The light of Aetherion withdrew from her, and a Veil was cast, a barrier she could never again cross.

In her moment of greatest power, she stood alone. The warriors of the earth, men blessed by the gods she had scorned, rose against her. The battle tore the skies open. And when it ended, Velithra had fallen. Her divinity was stripped away, her powers gone, her name cursed.

Yet one warrior, bravest among them, gave his life to seal her power. In death, his soul became its vessel, carrying it across ages. Velithra was cast into the world of men, condemned to walk it forever, immortal, powerless, and haunted by

the echo of what she once was.
