Staring at the giant octopus blotting out everything in front of him, Four-Armed Humungousaur went slightly blank for a moment, feeling as if he were facing the Kraken of the North Sea.
Of course, that golden giant octopus from the North Sea was over a hundred meters tall. Vilgax was nowhere near that level.
Vilgax fixed him with blood-red eyes. His massive body loomed in the water, tentacles lashing around him and churning up wave after wave.
"Lucian, you're not getting away today!"
As he spoke, the giant octopus shot out green, snake-like tentacles that came barreling straight at Four-Armed Humungousaur.
Deep beneath the lake.
Four-Armed Humungousaur's eyes sharpened as he sensed the rushing current coming at him. He immediately turned and swam hard in the opposite direction.
But the tentacles were far faster than he had expected.
A dark shadow swept in from behind and engulfed Four-Armed Humungousaur in an instant.
The python-like tentacles coiled tightly around his body, as if glued in place.
After grabbing hold of him, Vilgax gave a cold snort and dragged Four-Armed Humungousaur in front of himself.
Those lantern-like red eyes were full of contempt and mockery.
"Heh. Weren't you bullying me with numbers just now?" Vilgax's jagged teeth opened and closed slightly. "Now I've got eight arms. What are you going to use to fight me?"
Before taking his aquatic form, he had only had two arms, and Four-Armed Humungousaur had completely suppressed him, beating him until his face was bruised and swollen. It had been infuriating.
But now he had grown eight tentacles. Taking care of one little mutant dinosaur should be easy.
The more he thought about it, the better he felt. The smile at the corner of Vilgax's mouth only deepened.
Four-Armed Humungousaur gritted his teeth and struggled with all his strength.
But Vilgax's tentacles were like powerful steel clamps, holding him fast.
"What's wrong? Where'd all that swagger go? Go on, keep beating me up!" Vilgax burst out laughing.
As he spoke, he tightened his grip even more, trying to crush Four-Armed Humungousaur alive.
"Argh!"
Four-Armed Humungousaur let out a furious roar, his pea-sized green eyes blazing with murderous intent.
This was bad.
If this kept up, Vilgax would crush him to death sooner or later, like crushing an ant.
Or he would drown in the lake.
Humungousaur could hold his breath for a long time, but even that had limits.
And a battle this intense only burned through oxygen faster.
Faced with a life-or-death crisis, Four-Armed Humungousaur let out a thunderous roar. The water around him churned violently, and countless white bubbles surged upward from below.
His muscles swelled all over, veins standing out across his skin like twisted dragons, making him look even more fierce and terrifying.
As his muscles expanded, Four-Armed Humungousaur's strength rose dramatically.
"You're not worthy of killing me!"
With a furious shout, Four-Armed Humungousaur unleashed all his strength and violently tore free from the massive tentacles.
Then he clenched his terrifying iron fists and charged straight at Vilgax.
"Overestimating yourself."
Vilgax whipped his tentacles around. They layered over one another like vines, weaving into a giant net to trap the little pest in front of him.
But Four-Armed Humungousaur was quick and agile. He pushed through the raging water, slipped past the writhing tentacles, and in the blink of an eye was right in front of Vilgax.
Vilgax's eyes widened. He immediately realized things were going badly.
Four-Armed Humungousaur swung all four arms like one gigantic crimson war hammer and smashed them straight into the giant octopus's head.
Boom!
A ring of white spray burst outward from the point of impact, and the churning lake water blasted upward.
Vilgax's huge head and all his tentacles were sent flying backward like a kite with its string cut.
Taking the chance, Four-Armed Humungousaur raised his arms, shoved the water aside, and swam rapidly upward.
He was already close to his limit.
If he did not get to the surface soon and breathe fresh air, he was going to suffocate.
At that moment, a crowd of tourists was watching from the bridge.
Suddenly, a huge figure shot out of the water, grabbed one of the bridge pillars above, used it to vault upward, and slammed down onto the bridge deck.
Boom!
Dust and debris flew everywhere, and the terrifying impact made the entire bridge tremble violently.
A humanoid Tyrannosaur with four arms, crimson skin, and bulging muscles had appeared right in front of everyone.
The sight left the crowd stunned, their bodies frozen in place.
"Get out of here!" Four-Armed Humungousaur shouted, telling them to run. It was too dangerous here.
Only then did the tourists snap out of it. Screaming, they scattered in every direction.
The exit was to the left, and everyone rushed that way in a panic, not daring to stay another second for fear of provoking the giant dinosaur.
But just then, another huge dark figure slammed down onto the bridge deck, cutting off their escape.
A hideous monster clutched its head and struggled to its feet.
It had wings on its back, three eyes, and four arms, with fire in one hand and crystal in another. Its skin was a riot of colors, like a monster stitched together at random.
"Damn you, Ben Tennyson! You're going to pay for this!"
Kevin's eyes burned with hatred as he prepared to beat his wings and fly toward Ben Tennyson, the one who had just blasted him away.
But the tourists' screams nearby caught Kevin's attention.
"Shut up already!"
Kevin raised his left arm, gathering blazing fire that rolled and churned violently.
"Ah! Somebody save us!" one of the tourists cried out, turning to run back.
But behind them stood a vicious giant dinosaur.
At that moment, the faces of the dozen or so tourists turned ashen, the hope that had just flared in their hearts ruthlessly snuffed out.
A wolf in front, a tiger behind.
Today, they were probably doomed...
Kevin finished charging up and unleashed the flames in his hand, sending a wave of scorching fire straight at the people on the bridge.
Just as the tourists were about to be swallowed by the raging flames, a towering figure stepped in front of them, solid and immovable as a mountain.
With one casual punch, Four-Armed Humungousaur blew Kevin's flames apart.
"Oh my God, look at that heroic big dinosaur! He's even tougher than the neighbor next door! Yes, yes!"
"Oh my old friend, this is absolutely astonishing!"
"That big dinosaur is amazing! So awesome!"
"The big dinosaur's a good guy! He blocked the monster's flames for us!"
"Long live the Four-Armed Dino!"
The moment he heard that, Four-Armed Humungousaur was not pleased at all.
"It's Four-Armed Humungousaur!" he corrected them.
"Ahhh!"
The crowd screamed and bolted for the exit at top speed.
In the blink of an eye, they were all gone.
"Lucian, you're ruining my plans again!" Kevin ground his teeth, wishing he could cut him into a thousand pieces.
"What, you got a problem with that?" Four-Armed Humungousaur laughed.
"Die!"
Kevin's figure flashed, and he came charging in with a massive crystal fist.
Four-Armed Humungousaur gave a cold snort and threw a heavy punch to meet him head-on.
Bang!
In the very next second, Kevin's huge body was sent flying backward and dropped into the lake in stunned disbelief.
Just then, a green octopus head rose from beneath the surface.
Thud.
Kevin landed squarely on top of Vilgax's head, and both of them immediately felt dizzy.
Four-Armed Humungousaur walked to the edge of the bridge and looked down at the scene below, a faint smile curling at his lips.
"Cuz, I'm here!"
Stinkfly beat his wings and landed beside Four-Armed Humungousaur.
At the same time, the Rustbucket came speeding over.
Grandpa Max jumped out of the vehicle, his expression grave as he stared down at the giant octopus below in shock.
"Vilgax's underwater form!" Grandpa Max's eyes shifted. "No, the two of you keep an eye on Vilgax. I'll be right back."
A few seconds later, Grandpa Max came running back with something like a pistol in his hand.
"Null Void Projector!"
