Chapter 276 - Chapter 276: Strength in Numbers

One kilometer away from the waterfall, on the highway.

Grandpa Max stood beside the Rustbucket with a pair of binoculars in hand, nervously watching the battle.

"Grandpa, how are Cuz and Ben doing?" Gwen asked anxiously from the side.

"Lucian and Ben are both strong. Nothing's gone wrong so far." Grandpa Max paused, then continued, "But Vilgax is a terrifying enemy. I'm worried he might still have something up his sleeve..."

"I'm going to help them!" Gwen's beautiful eyes blazed with fighting spirit.

"No!" Grandpa Max hurriedly stopped her. "You can't interfere in a fight on that level. We'll stay here, wait for Ben and Lucian to come back, and then leave together before Vilgax can catch up to us."

"Alright..." Gwen said, a little discouraged, as she turned to look at the distant waterfall.

...

By the lakeshore.

A ghastly green hand suddenly burst out of the water and clawed into the dark mud, gouging out deep marks.

Vilgax panted heavily as he struggled out of the lake, soaked from head to toe.

"Hah... that damn brat. I never thought he'd gotten this strong!"

The Alien Heroes in the Omnitrix were already powerful to begin with. Now that fusion had been added on top of that, even Vilgax was struggling to handle it.

A blood-red hand suddenly shot out of the water and grabbed Vilgax's ankle like lightning.

"What?" Vilgax was startled and immediately tried to break free.

But that red, python-like arm gave him no chance.

Splash!

With a huge splash, the poor, helpless Vilgax was dragged back into the freezing lake, sending water spraying everywhere.

In the blue water, Vilgax narrowed his eyes, his tentacles lashing wildly as he stared at the hulking figure across from him.

The Four-Armed Humungousaur grinned and gave him a thumbs-down, instantly maxing out the hatred factor.

Vilgax roared and shoved the water aside around him. His huge octopus-like head looked ready to explode from rage as he charged straight at the Four-Armed Humungousaur.

In an instant, the two giant beasts were locked in battle again.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The force of their punches sent huge bursts of water exploding around them like underwater bombs, drawing plenty of tourists over to watch.

"Hey, look! What's that?"

"There's not a lake monster in there, is there?"

"Haha, no way. It's probably just someone messing around with a water cannon."

"Quick, quick, take pictures and post them on Twitter. This is definitely going viral!"

"No, I'm posting it on Xiaohongshu."

The tourists all chattered away, snapping photo after photo with their phones, completely unaware that danger was closing in.

....

Meanwhile, in the forest by the waterfall.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Large stretches of dense trees kept crashing down, smashed into countless fragments by Kevin 11's terrifying brute force.

Wood chips flew everywhere, mixed with shredded leaves and whipped apart by the fierce wind.

"Ben Tennyson, stop running!" Kevin's furious roar echoed through the forest.

XLR8 burst out laughing.

"Kevin, after all this time, you're still just as pathetic as ever!"

"Shut up! I came here today to get my revenge on you!"

Kevin snarled viciously, then ripped a lychee tree out of the ground and hurled it at him.

XLR8 turned into a blue blur and dodged easily, then spun around to face the hideous and terrifying Kevin 11.

"If you want to fight, then I'll go all the way with you!"

With a thought, the Omnitrix on XLR8's chest flashed green.

Thunk!

The next second, Heatblast appeared.

"Come on, Ben Tennyson!" Kevin 11 clenched his fists and said unwillingly, "I have all your powers. There's no way you can beat me!"

"Heh, then let's find out!"

Heatblast gave a wicked grin and held out his blazing palm, gathering a fireball.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Dozens of fiery red energy balls came flying one after another.

Kevin slammed a fist into the ground.

In an instant, a crystal wall rose from beneath the earth, gleaming with an emerald light.

But Kevin 11 only had one-tenth of Diamondhead's power, so the crystal wall he formed was clearly nowhere near hard enough.

With a thunderous explosion, the seemingly indestructible crystal wall shattered into flying debris.

Whoosh!

A streak of blood-red cold light pierced through the debris like a deadly snake and shot straight toward Kevin's chest.

Startled, Kevin quickly formed a crystal blade and hacked at the red spike with all his strength.

Clang!

The spike let out a sharp cry, spun half a turn through the air, and stabbed into the dirt nearby upside down.

"What the hell is that?" Kevin was stunned. He had never seen an attack like that before.

"Kevin, you only absorbed the power of the ten original heroes. After that, I added a few more good buddies. You haven't met them yet."

A chilling gleam flashed in the Red Spikesnake's serpent eyes.

It had a human upper body and a snake's lower body, its whole body blood-red and covered in hard scales. It looked like a giant humanoid serpent over two meters tall.

Sharp red spikes grew from both fists. They could extend and retract freely, or be detached and fired at distant targets.

Those sharp bone spikes regrew incredibly fast, so the Red Spikesnake never needed to retrieve them.

Seeing how fearless the Red Spikesnake was, Kevin ground his teeth and roared, "No matter what kind of freak you turn into, you'll still lose to me in the end!"

"Really?" The Red Spikesnake smiled.

With a thought.

Thunk!

A terrifying humanoid giant crocodile suddenly appeared in front of Kevin, its body covered in gleaming golden scales that shone like an iron fortress.

"Come on, good buddy. Let's fight," the Dragon Crocodile said slowly.

...

In the depths of the lake.

The Four-Armed Humungousaur glared with green eyes, gripping Vilgax's tentacles so tightly that the pain made him bare his teeth.

"Ah! This is outrageous! Let go of me right now! What kind of skill is ganging up on someone when you outnumber them?" Vilgax raged, veins bulging on his forehead.

"Nope." The Four-Armed Humungousaur answered and punched Vilgax in the face again.

After all, he had more arms. He could do whatever he wanted.

At that moment, the Four-Armed Humungousaur used two hands to block Vilgax's fists, then used the other two to keep hammering him and messing with him.

Physical attacks and mental attacks. He was giving Vilgax both.

So the two remained locked there in the lake, neither willing to give an inch.

"Lucian, if you don't let go right now, I'm going to stop holding back!" Vilgax gritted out, threatening him.

But the moment he finished speaking, he took another punch from the Four-Armed Humungousaur and was instantly dizzy.

"Ah! Damn it!"

Vilgax let out an enraged roar, scaring the nearby fish into scattering in all directions.

At the same time, his ridiculous octopus-like head and all the muscles on his body began swelling rapidly like an inflating balloon.

Boom!

In the next instant, a mountain-sized green octopus with blood-red eyes and terrifying jagged teeth appeared right in front of the Four-Armed Humungousaur.

Vilgax's aquatic form!
