Chapter 260 - Chapter 260: Giant Beast

The icy dragon, radiating a bone-chilling aura, circled the submarine with an overwhelming presence.

"Roar!"

The ferocious ice dragon let out a terrifying roar, sending ripples surging through the water and forcing the mechanical creatures to retreat again and again, nearly swept away by the turbulent currents.

"Go!"

At Big Chill's command, the ice dragon bared its long, sharp fangs, twisted its massive body, and slammed straight into the enemy.

Dozens of powerful mechanical manta rays flapped like underwater bats, stirring the sea into chaos.

Relying on their enormous size, they smashed smaller fish aside and hurtled forward at astonishing speed.

But the ice dragon showed no fear.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The savage ice dragon was incredibly powerful. Its hardened head smashed through one mechanical manta ray after another.

Against such a terrifying opponent, the mechanical manta rays had no chance at all and were quickly thrown into disarray.

Then a mechanical shark launched a sneak attack from the side, opening its huge jaws and clamping down hard on the ice dragon's neck.

"Roar..."

The ice dragon struggled fiercely, but the mechanical shark's teeth were like barbed hooks, buried deep in its body.

The harder it struggled, the deeper those teeth dug in.

"Oh my God, that dragon's about to get bitten to death!" Eddie shouted anxiously.

If the ice dragon died, that moth-like creature would be in danger too.

Watching the ice dragon on the verge of losing, Big Chill remained calm and exhaled another blast of freezing air.

In just a few breaths, a massive plesiosaur took shape in front of him.

Its body was as huge as a hill, with a python-like neck and fin-like limbs.

Its entire body was ice-blue, made of solid crystal ice, giving off such intense cold that it seemed ready to freeze the surrounding seawater.

The plesiosaur opened its giant mouth. Its long fangs were even more terrifying than a saber-toothed tiger's, gleaming with an icy light.

The two people inside the submarine were completely stunned, standing there in a daze.

"S-so huge... That dinosaur could swallow a whole lot in one bite, right?" Gwen said absentmindedly, still staring blankly.

"What exactly is that blue moth? How can it create something that terrifying?" Eddie was so shocked his eyes nearly popped out.

Having traveled the world with his grandfather, he had seen things most ordinary people could never imagine.

Eddie had even seen the legendary Yeti, as well as werewolves, vampires, and other creatures. Those were the kinds of things only high society ever came into contact with.

Take vampires, for example. They were part of high society themselves, usually living openly as humans and rarely revealing their true identities.

After tearing apart a Tentacle Trooper, Ripjaws turned around and saw the colossal plesiosaur, and the sight shook him to the core.

"Oh man, this is awesome! Cuz can even make dinosaurs. These freaks are so screwed!"

Ripjaws grinned mischievously, looking utterly ridiculous.

The fierce plesiosaur attacked with brutal force, shooting out its serpent-like neck and biting hard at the shark.

The mechanical shark was still chewing on the ice dragon's neck, thrashing its tail wildly as it tried to rip it apart completely.

Rip!

The plesiosaur lunged in and instantly clamped the mechanical shark in its jaws. Its razor-sharp fangs chewed relentlessly, making harsh crunching sounds.

Black liquid mixed with bits of metal spilled from the plesiosaur's mouth and drifted through the seawater.

"Roar!"

The ice dragon broke free, though a huge gash had opened across its neck, a gruesome sight.

Big Chill added another burst of freezing air, instantly filling the ice dragon's wound and restoring it to perfect condition.

The ice dragon regained its momentum, twisting through the water like a living pillar of ice as it charged back into battle.

The two enormous ice beasts plunged into the monster horde and tore into the frenzied mechanical creatures, turning the battlefield into total chaos.

Countless metal fragments, mixed with ice shards and black fluid, scattered through the dark seafloor.

The plesiosaur was powerful, but even the strongest beast could be worn down by sheer numbers. Endless mechanical creatures, fearless of death, surrounded them tightly and relentlessly chipped away at their bodies.

While the two giant beasts fought, Big Chill wasn't idle either. He joined the battle directly, hunting the mechanical creatures alongside them.

Although he could create ice beasts, doing so consumed a huge amount of energy.

Creating something as massive as the plesiosaur alone had already drained nearly a third of his power.

"There are too many of these monsters. We can't kill them all..."

Big Chill gripped a blue curved blade and darted through the swarm of Tentacle Troopers.

Flashes of icy light cut through the water. One Tentacle Trooper head after another burst apart, spraying disgusting black fluid as they died on the spot.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Behind that massive shadow, even more Tentacle Troopers surged out, a dense sea of green lights rushing toward them at terrifying speed.

Big Chill's heart tightened as he stared in that direction.

There had to be at least ten thousand of them.

"No, we can't drag this out any longer..." Big Chill turned intangible, slipping past the impact of the octopus horde.

Their transformation time was limited. If this kept going, sooner or later they'd become food for these freaks.

Not far away, even the unstoppable Ripjaws was beginning to tire.

There were simply too many enemies. He couldn't kill them fast enough.

The speed of his claws was slowing, and even those vicious protruding fangs were starting to lose their bite.

Ripjaws truly was powerful, a ruler of the seas in every sense.

Among the ten original heroes, Ripjaws was undoubtedly the strongest in underwater combat. Even Four Arms and Diamondhead would be completely outmatched against him in the water.

Of course, things would be different on land...

But no matter how strong he was, exhaustion would come eventually, and Ripjaws was no exception.

Facing the endless swarm of monsters, Big Chill knew they couldn't keep dragging this out.

By now, the plesiosaur and the ice dragon had both been completely torn apart, reduced to frozen fragments that scattered and vanished into the dark abyss.

Big Chill waved a hand and conjured up an ice wall, barely managing to block the enemy's assault.

But cracks quickly began to spread across it as the Tentacle Troopers wrapped themselves around the wall and slammed into it again and again with loud bangs.

Big Chill beat his wings and flew over to Ripjaws, saying in a hoarse voice, "Ben, we have to retreat right now. There are too many of these monsters. We can't kill them all."

Ripjaws nodded blankly. "Okay, let's go back."

With that, Ripjaws flicked his black-and-white fish tail and slipped beneath the submarine, grabbing the wheel to open the sealed valve.

But no matter what he did, it wouldn't budge. It was like a rusted machine, completely jammed.

Beep! Beep!

The Omnitrix on Ripjaws suddenly began flashing.

Ripjaws' fish eyes went wide.

At that moment, the sound of the Omnitrix felt like a death knell from hell, unbearably shrill.

This was the deep sea. Forget flesh and blood, even steel could be crushed flat down here.

"Not good!" Big Chill's gaze sharpened as he slapped the Omnitrix...
