Chapter 3 - 2. Hospital

"Hi, today is my schedule is to accompany you. You must very excited, right?" Suddenly a girl entered my room.

She brought a bag and a paper bag which definitely contained the things she needed during her stay at the hospital.

"Not really, it's just that with you here, Mom can rest at hone." I said to the girl who started taking her things out of the paper bag.

I raised my bed slightly using the automatic button on the side of the bed. For some reason, I'd been feeling pain in my left chest since this morning. I hadn't told Mom because I didn't want her to worry. I planned to tell the doctor about my condition when he visited. Perhaps he'd give me some painkillers.

"Alright, whatever you say. By the way, you seem to be very familiar with that male nurse. What's his name? I want to thank him for being willing to take care of a fussy patient like you." She said with a chuckle.

"You are telling me to be fussy? Then you don't have to come here anymore." I moved my hand with a gestured as if to drive it away using my hand that wasn't stuck in the IV needle. "His name? I never asked his what his name was." I didn't realize that all this time I never knew what the nurse's name was.

"You're really outrageous. You don't know the name of the person who has been taking care of you. I'll find out for myself." She said ad she walked to the toilet.

It turned out she was washing the fruit she had brought earlier in the sink located in the toilet. She handed me a peller apple. I took it and skewered it on a fork. As I lifted my hand, the pain returned. I suddenly groaned as the pain centered in my left chest. While squeezing my left chest, I tried to control my breathing, hoping that the pain would subside, but it didn't work.

"What's wrong with you? Don't scare me! Wait a minute, I'll call the doctor!" She rushed out of the room, shouting for the doctor.

I vaguely Saw segera people enter this room before my vision went black.

Ten Years Later

A little girl smiled as she looked at the marks engraved on her report card. A+ grade is given in each field of her study. It was not in vain that the girl had studied hard all this time.In this week the girl has been studying until late at night. Currently the girl is sitting on a bench located in her school garden. The little girl was waiting for an old woman who usually picked her up to go home.

"Let me see what your report card grades are." A girl who was about nine years old grabbed the report card belonging to a girl who was still sitting on the bench.

Beside the little girl were two boys who were her friends. The girl sitting on the bench could only accept their behavior. It wasn't actually that she was afraid of that bunch of brats, it was just that she he didn't want to cause any more trouble. Because of the naughty behavior of her friends, she always hopes for a supervising teacher.

"How is it possible that she can get perfect grades in every subject?" One of the boys asked after seeing the results of what he had read.

"She beat your report card grades, Ly. Don't you have two B's in math and science?" Another boy chimed in.

The little girl who was called Ly immediately threw the report card on the floor.

"She must have cheated that's why she got perfect grades in all subjects." The little girl accused the girl who started picking up her books.

"No. I studied hard to get these grades."Said the owner of the report book.

"How could a poor orphaned child like you possibly get good grades? Because no one can accompany you to study." The girl said starting to mock.

"I'm always accompanied by my mother to study until late at night, but why aren't my grades perfect?" One of the boys started asking Ly.

The little girl who was part of the boys' gang started to roll her eyes. You stupid kid, why did you have to say that your grades were bad, Ly said in her heart to curse her friend.

"I don't have a father, but I still have a mother, so I'm not an orphan." The little girl who was being bullied started to lose her patience.

"You mean the old woman who always picks you up from school is your mother? She's more suited to be your grandmother than your mother. Hahaha." Ly spoke while laughing with her two friends.

"Hey, what are you guys doing?" A woman's voice interrupted the three of them laughing.

They ran together to leave the place.

"You're okay, right? Did they hit you?" The woman examined every curve of this little girl's body.

"No, they haven't even touched me." The little girl spoke in a hoarse voice.

The girl rubbed her eyes, hoping that maybe the tears wouldn't come out.

"Then why are you crying?" The woman was shocked to see the little girl starting to shed tears.

"They don't believe that I still have a mother." The girl started to sob.

The woman hugged the little girl to calm her down. The woman was concerned about the little girl's condition.

"Don't cry anymore, later when we get the chance we will show you that you have a mother. Now let's go home. I've made your favorite cookies." Coax the woman and then wipe away the little girl's tears.

Elsewhere a woman is watching a video on her cellphone. A few seconds later a message came in from my cell phone.

I was about to stop the behavior of the naughty children, but the woman who usually picked up the little girl came.

"What do you see?Why are you looking so intently at your phone, hmm?" Suddenly a man hugged the woman's body from behind.

"Look. I wonder if those children are not being educated properly by their teachers. Why would they do that to their school friends?" Said the woman without turning her body.

The man took the phone and replayed the video.

"Never mind, nothing happened, didn't it? You have to take care of your health. Didn't the doctor tell you to control your emotions?" Slowly the man turned the woman's body so that her back was still facing him.

"I want her to change schools." The woman voiced her opinion.

"Okay. We'll plan that later." The man said then kissed the woman's lips to calm her down.

The woman returned the man's kiss, the sound of kissing could be heard filling the room.
