Chapter 11 - Outside… Having Fun.

After leaving Han Yifan, Lu Wanli felt better once she took a breath of the fresh air outside.

She finally had a chance to redo everything!

Although, she wished she was reborn before she sent Han Yifan that game.

Because she knew Han Yifan wouldn't give up very easily.

If possible, he would want to act on the game.

As she thought of the things he could possibly do, she also made up some backup plans.

She opened an app with the symbol of an arrow and messaged someone personally.

The person replied almost immediately and Lu Wanli sent the game zip file.

Once she was satisfied, she kept her phone back in her pocket and hailed a cab to Obsidian.

Obsidian was the largest shopping plaza in their city and since she wanted to visit a saloon and get some shopping done, she decided to do it all in one place.

When she entered the saloon, the first thing she requested was removing the red color and returning her hair to its natural one.

Although she didn't mind the red hair, after everything she had experienced in her last life, she had outgrown that style.

While getting her hair treated, she got some pedicure and manicure done.

By the time the hair was done, Lu Wanli's entire mood felt better and she had been able to walk out from the gloom that her nightmare had brought.

When she looked in the mirror, she was very satisfied. The curls in her hair had been taken out allowing the length to shine.

Against her white skin, the black hair looked glossy and healthy.

"Do you want us to do anything else?" The stylist asked. In front of a really pretty customer like this, she felt that her creativity was alive as she kept thinking of several styles.

Lu Wanli gave her a bright smile while shaking her head.

"You have done so well already," she praised.

Her words were harmless but when the stylist met her gaze that was shining brightly like stars, her ears turned red and she nodded numbly.

Lu Wanli paid with her card using the money she got from her Dad yesterday.

She made a mental note to create another account that Lu Zheming wouldn't be able to track.

In this life, she didn't want to bother much with this family. Back then, when Lu Wanyin died in the hands of Mo Jingshen's enemies, it was then that she realized that Lu Wanyin wasn't the reason her parents didn't love her.

They just couldn't. Either there was a Lu Wanyin or not. It wouldn't have changed anything.

Back then, it had made her deeply depressed. After all, she had always wanted nothing more than to have their affection and love.

This time, she didn't care. She was going to live her life and see how things play out.

For the things that were hers, she wouldn't let anyone take it away from her. For the ones that had nothing to do with her, she would also ignore it.

She was standing in the center of the plaza, trying to choose which brand to shop from when her phone rang.

Seeing the familiar number, her brows scrunched lightly.

"Yes?"

Lu Zheming scoffed angrily from the other end. "You insolent brat. Is that any way to speak to your father?"

"All I have said is one word, or are you talking about your other daughter?"

Lu Zheming ignored her jab and went straight to business.

"Where are you?" He demanded.

"I'm outside…" she paused and looked at the plaza that was brimming full of people and added.

"Having fun."

Lu Zheming took a deep breath. He was certain that this girl was a result of their ancestors' mistakes sent to punish him.

After calming himself, he continued his line of questioning.

"What happened yesterday? Did you offend young master Mo?"

"Offend? Mr Mo is magnanimous and kind. Despite me getting there late, we completed the marriage registration and he took me to his place."

Lu Zheming sighed in relief when he heard the first part of the sentence but upon hearing the second part, his face darkened.

"Are you out of your mind? How could you simply follow him like that without a ceremony?"

Although he wasn't angry about how fast it was, he didn't want Mo Jingshen to have the upper hand at all.

Lu Wanli's eyes held a hint of mockery as she went to sit down at a resting spot.

"There's no need for pretense. Getting married without meeting him before. Does any one of us not understand this matter?"

"Besides, dad, you must have no idea who your son in law is if you think that he would listen to my words."

After all she wasn't the one that wanted to go back with him.

Lu Zheming was easy to sway and he also felt that her words made sense so he sighed in relief.

"Alright then. Keep your attitude away from him and bring him back home with you tomorrow."

Lu Wanli said nothing and just made a sound of approval.

As though guessing that she didn't take him seriously, Lu Zheming added.

"I'll be having some friends over. Make sure to please him well and tell him to accompany you tomorrow."

Lu Wanli ended the call without giving him a reply.

Did he think that she was a genie or some invaluable treasure?

That by sending her over, he would be able to control Mo Jingshen just as he wanted.

Lu Wanli chuckled at his delusions.

If she remembered very well. Up until the divorce, Mo Jingshen never visited the Lu Family.

At first, her father had made several attempts but eventually, he gave up and accepted that it was never going to be like he wanted.

Regardless, the Lu Family still benefited a lot from people knowing that Lu Wanyin was married to Mo Jingshen.

That was partly why she wanted their marriage to be hidden. She was not going to let them enjoy any benefit from sacrificing her!

After some time, she finally stood up and walked inside a clothing store.

She had a certain fashion style that she had grown into later but dressing that way at this age wasn't the best so Lu Wanli planned to take her time in looking at every dress carefully before shopping.

The black dress she was wearing was not from any popular brand but it looked great on her.

Together with the new haircut and her alluring face, when she entered the store, the sales assistants were eager to attend to her.

After all, who doesn't like beautiful people?

"Just one person is enough, I won't be buying a lot," Lu Wanli told them politely and finally walked off with the first one that approached.

Even though she had some money now, she also had a lot of plans so she couldn't splurge on too many clothes.

"Miss, a new collection just came in, would you like to see them?" The sales assistant offered and Lu Wanli agreed easily.

After she rolled out the hanger, Lu Wanli's face remained impassive.

The styles were truly not bad but she had seen much nicer styles in the future.

Regardless, she picked out three dresses from the new collection.

"I'll try these on and see how it looks."

The sales assistant nodded but as Lu Wanli turned around, she saw four girls heading towards her.

Seeing that familiar face in the middle, Lu Wanli's hands around the clothes tightened instantly and her eyes narrowed into slits.

She did not expect that they would meet so soon.

"Xinxin, you will love them once you see them."
