--------------------------------

After publishing the video, Lu Ye rushed off to his afternoon core classes.

Meanwhile, Bilibili's gaming section began trembling once again because of that man.

"Grandpa, the UP master you follow has updated!"

"What dirty tactic is it this time?"

"Terrifying!"

The video material was simple: Teacher Lu's traditional speciality, one-versus-six.

On a rocky field covered in rubble stood an adorably naive Chansey, facing a Jolteon with bristling fur.

The opponent was a chubby, white-haired old man wearing a floral shirt, grinning broadly.

"Jolteon, Discharge!"

Lightning crackled wildly. Dazzling electric sparks transformed into a violent electric field spreading outward.

Chansey still stood there grinning foolishly. After being hit by Discharge, it shuddered, then patted its belly to show friendliness.

The old man froze on the spot.

"Is this Jolteon giving a massage?"

"Made me laugh!"

Although Chansey's speed was worrisome, its special defence and HP were frighteningly high.

"Chansey, Minimise!"

Chansey's two short arms closed together. Its body glowed white, visibly shrinking circle by circle.

Meanwhile, Jolteon accumulated energy. Amidst screaming sounds, dazzling electric current surged from its body into the clouds.

The Electric-type ultimate move, Thunder!

Thunder clouds rolled. A thick lightning pillar crashed down but completely missed!

"Point-blank miss?"

"Holy crap, how did Chansey already shrink so small!"

After three consecutive Minimises, Chansey completely disappeared from view, easily dodging the lightning pillar.

Looking at Jolteon, it seemed gripped by invisible giant hands, directly thrown skyward by a mysterious force!

"Lifting it high!?"

"That's Chansey's Seismic Toss!"

Lu Ye calmly commented, "Minimise can dodge the vast majority of moves. Combined with Chansey's tankiness and sustain, one-versus-six is no problem at all."

"???"

"Is this human speech?"

Lu Ye continued, "Unless the opponent uses one Earthquake to teach you humanity, otherwise, Minimise teams can counter the vast majority of tactics!"

"This is too dirty!"

"UP master beating up an elderly person?"

"Suggest permanent ban!"

Since Chansey was quite rare in reality, Lu Ye also recommended Chansey's budget alternative in the video: Grimer.

Besides being easy to capture, Grimer had low breeding costs, excellent resistances, and respectable offensive capabilities.

One could say, besides being smelly and ugly, Grimer was practically all advantages!

Of course, Lu Ye would never capture a Grimer.

Looks-obsessed people were just this realistic.

"Understood, heading to the sewers to catch Grimer!"

"Thanks, Teacher Lu, choosing Grimer as my starter!"

"I'm from Team Rocket. The organisation gave me a Grimer. Teacher Lu, how should I train it?"

In just half an hour, the video's view count had already broken through twenty thousand.

YouTube and Niconico simultaneously reposted Lu Ye's video, with influence continuing to ferment.

Even Johto region's Poison-type Elite Four member Koga retweeted this video.

Caption: "On point."

Koga himself was a Poison-type expert skilled with Minimise tactics.

In the Special manga, both sides of Koga's shoulder armour contained minimised Grimer, combining offence and defence.

But... perhaps this was also why Koga wore a mask year-round.

Gaining Elite Four recognition instantly established Teacher Lu's authority.

The video's popularity continued to rise. Fans also began discussing Teacher Lu's true identity.

Grass-type Gym Leader? Poison-type Master?

Regardless of speculation, it ultimately reached the same conclusion.

Teacher Lu was definitely no ordinary gaming streamer.

Able to utilise these two reality-based advanced tactics so skillfully, Teacher Lu must definitely be a Master-level trainer!

"Highest world ranking seventh... Could Teacher Lu really be a Master?"

"Be bold, maybe even an Elite Four member?"

"Teacher Lu, god of dirty tactics!"

Among Teacher Lu's many fans, Ryohei from the Kanto region was a Team Rocket grunt.

So-called grunts were those who did all the dirty work, had no employment benefits, and got thrown out as scapegoats when things went wrong.

But Ryohei's parents died when he was young. He was grateful Team Rocket took him in.

Having a straw mat and full meals was already satisfying enough.

Team Rocket's competition was brutal.

Under survival-of-the-fittest rules, either eat others or get eaten.

But Ryohei was a kind person.

He blushed when making eye contact, spoke softly, and didn't get angry when mocked or insulted.

Only at night, when moonlight shone down, would he secretly sneak into the storage room to talk with the injured Pokémon.

Once, he secretly released an abused Houndoom. Besides getting his arm bitten, he also had four ribs broken by Instructor Viper.

Later, Instructor Viper told him that Houndoom had killed an innocent citizen and was shot dead on the spot by Officer Jenny.

Ryohei felt somewhat confused.

Team Rocket days were dark, with faint glimmers of light.

To avoid being trampled, climbing up was the only path.

The taciturn Ryohei was once considered mute. Losing the fun of insulting him, others gradually ignored him.

From grunt to reserve took Ryohei two years.

From reserve to soldier took another two years.

When receiving organisation-issued Pokémon, quality Pokémon were already chosen by others.

Until only the last Poké Ball remained, Instructor Viper finally glanced at Ryohei.

"Try hard to survive."

In that last Poké Ball was a Grimer covered in mud, reeking of filth.

Expressionlessly gripping the Poké Ball, Ryohei consciously avoided the crowd.

Returning to the basement, Ryohei sobbed uncontrollably.

Grimer stared blankly at Ryohei, trying to wipe Ryohei's tears.

Then, feeling too dirty, scratched its head somewhat embarrassedly.

Grimer definitely wasn't a beginner-friendly Pokémon.

But having a first family member was enough to satisfy Ryohei.

After finishing chores, connecting to Team Rocket's internal network to watch streams was Ryohei's only entertainment.

He liked Fighter Red's battle videos, liked Cultivator Green's breeding guides.

His favourite was still this unlucky yet endlessly tactical Teacher Lu.

This day, exhausted Ryohei used 3G to download a video that took three hours.

Teacher Lu Teaches You Battle 04: Minimise Team.

Watching the dopey Chansey one-versus-six, Ryohei immediately laughed aloud.

"Grimer, look! Teacher Lu's tactics are still so dirty!"

Grimer leaned closer, carefully avoiding dirtying Ryohei, sharing happiness together.

In the dim basement, only the screen's faint glow and two completely focused faces.

In the video's second half, Ryohei's breathing gradually quickened.

"Here, I recommend a budget alternative to Chansey."

Teacher Lu calmly commented, "Grimer is easier to capture with lower breeding costs."

"Whether SubToxic or Minimise teams, it perfectly applies..."

Ryohei swallowed, feeling his hands begin to tremble.

A brand-new door slowly opened before Ryohei.

Replaying Teacher Lu's video repeatedly, a warm current surged through Ryohei's entire body.

Ryohei slowly stood up, feeling his voice somewhat hoarse and trembling:

"Let's go, Grimer... We're going to train!"

PS: This book has no villains.

Team Rocket symbolises the dark side, but equally has warmth between trainers and Pokémon.

Reality is already difficult enough.

Precisely because Pokémon exist, the Pokémon world won't make people so lonely.

This is a pseudo-invincible, cheerful Pokémon story.
