Chapter 134 - Chapter 125.1 - Shattered Dreams

TAK! TAK! TAK!

"OWWW!!"

Three consecutive hits rang out sharply, and three husbands cried out in pain as they stood in a disciplined line. They faced the wrath of their wife Isafold Dreka in one corner of the 5th rock meeting gathering area, each man wincing but accepting their punishment without complaint.

"STUPID HUSBANDS! I SENT YOU TO TAKE CARE OF MY DAUGHTERS, AND YOU'RE TELLING ME THEY GOT HURT???!!!!" Mother Isafold's voice shook with pure anger, her eyes blazing with maternal fury. "If we weren't here in public, I would have killed you right now!"

Her chest heaved with each breath, hands still clenched into fists at her sides. The fury radiating from her was palpable, making the air around them feel suffocating.

The first husband stepped forward carefully, hands raised in a calming gesture. His movements were slow, measured, trying not to provoke her further.

"Now, now, calm down, dear. You know our Fia is stronger than three of us combined so I thought Maren would be okay with her... that's why I let them go. The plan changed at the last minute. Things happen dear."

He moved closer, closing the distance between them. His voice softened to coax her gently.

"Don't worry, everyone is fine and happy. So why not relax a little? Besides, we have to go and give our respects to our daughter Alice and her friend. Let's not bicker here, okay, dear?"

The other two husbands joined in without hesitation, gently moving closer to embrace her from both sides. Their presence formed a united front of comfort and support, wrapping around her from all angles.

Mother Isafold's shoulders sagged slightly under their combined warmth, though her jaw remained tight with tension. "Fine. I'll forgive you this time." She jabbed a finger at each of them in turn, her nail nearly poking their chests. "But next time, if anything happens to them, I will shred your skin! Understand?"

She turned sharply on her heel, her gaze landing on the towering mansion looming in front of them. The building stood massive against the sky, casting long shadows across the ground.

"Humph! And that Grankell bastard! Grrr! How many lives has he destroyed? Even a thousand cuts wouldn't be enough for him!"

SMACK!

The sharp sound echoed loudly as the third husband playfully smacked her rear, his mischievous laughter ringing out loud in the surrounding making curious gazes from afar look toward them. "Before seeing his end, you'll die from your own anger! Calm down, wifey."

"GRR! And because of whom... MUUFFF! UFFF! UMMM! AAMMM! UUMM! AAHH!"

Isafold's protest was cut off instantly as her third husband captured her lips in a sudden, ravishing kiss. His mouth moved over hers with heated intensity, claiming her completely. Though she struggled at first, pushing against his chest with both hands, but feeling the passionate kiss she quickly melted into him. Her body relaxed entirely, her fingers curling into his shirt as she surrendered to the kiss. Soft sounds escaped between their locked lips, her helpless erotic breath hit the husband as he kissed her harder.

SLLLLPPPPP AAMMMMMM OOOOMMM SLLPPPP UUUMMMMM SSHHLLPPPP SLLLURRPPPP AAAOOOMMMMM

The other two husbands smiled knowingly at each other and moved to stand in front of them, positioning their bodies to shield the passionate display from any passersby whose eye might wander towards them.

For a long minute, the only sounds were soft moans and heavy breathing filling the space between them. Finally, Isafold pulled away, gasping desperately for air.

"Huff... huff... Stop it! I got it, I will not get angry anymore... so stop kissing me! Not here, not now!"

Her face was flushed deep red, her chest rising and falling rapidly as she extracted herself from his grasp. She smoothed down her clothes with trembling hands, looking around frantically to make sure no one had witnessed their heated behavior.

The two husbands turned around, shaking their heads in mock disapproval. "Such a beast," the first one said with a wide grin spreading across his face. "No delicacy at all, trying to bring shame to our beautiful wife right out in the open!"

The second husband nodded in agreement, though his voice wavered slightly with barely concealed amusement. "Absolutely inappropriate behavior."

"Is that so?"

The third husband's voice dropped to a teasing tone as he suddenly grabbed the second husband and pulled him close. Their bodies pressed together firmly, chest to chest. He let his bulge press deliberately against his husband's, his face moving in close enough that their breath mingled warmly.

"But your 'delicious thing' is quite hard my man. Is that appropriate?"

The second husband's face turned bright red instantly, his mouth opening and closing wordlessly. No sound came out as he stood there frozen, completely flustered.

"Geez! Stop it, my husbands!"

Isafold quickly stepped between them, separating them with firm hands pushing against both their chests. "We're in public, for heaven's sake!"

She shouted in desperation but couldn't help feeling their hardness pressing against both her thighs from either side. The sensation sent a jolt through her body. She barely contained her moan, biting down hard on her lower lip, then pushed them away forcefully and scolded them for a while with increasingly weak protests.

Properly chastised, the group calmed down and began making their way toward the gathering. As they walked together, snippets of conversation from the crowd reached their ears. Talk of Queen calling another meeting drifted through the air from multiple directions.

Mother Isafold's entire demeanor changed instantly, her eyes lighting up with sudden excitement. "Oh my! Malina and the others are trying to do something! Let's go! Fast Fast!!! I'm sure they have something clever up their sleeves!"

She grabbed her husbands' hands and practically dragged them toward her carriage, her previous anger completely forgotten. The shame from moments ago vanished entirely, replaced by eager anticipation.

The three husbands exchanged glances with each other and shook their heads at Isafold's sudden mood swings. But they were smiling fondly as they swiftly followed her toward Queen's palace.

"Are you sure you want to go alone?"

Rugged Woman's voice was filled with deep concern as they stood at a small gate entrance at the back of a large mansion. Occasionally, maids could be seen passing through the narrow pathway, going about their duties without sparing them a glance.

"You can take me with you. I'll kick their asses for you if they give you trouble!"

Subordinate Woman clutched her bag tightly to her chest, her eyes downcast and refusing to meet the other's gaze. "Umm, it's okay. Thank you for staying with me."

Her voice was getting slower and slower. Her face was etched with sadness that seemed to weigh down her entire body.

"My family should be back after the meeting. I just have to give them the money, that's all."

She spoke in a dejected manner, barely any strength behind her voice. Each word came out hollow, drained of life.

"Geez, don't take Princess's words to heart!"

Rugged Woman grabbed her hand suddenly, squeezing it firmly between her own calloused palms. "I'm sure Boss will scold her for what she said. She was out of line."

Subordinate Woman just smiled weakly hearing this, not saying anything in response. The silence stretched between them, heavy with unspoken worries and fears that neither wanted to voice aloud.

Rugged Woman sighed deeply, her shoulders slumping for a moment. Then her expression brightened with sudden determination, eyes sparking with an idea.

"I got it! Why don't you come with me instead? I have no family members with me. I'll just give money to those I owe and then... I'll be all alone."

She paused, her eyes searching the other woman's face hopefully, desperately looking for any sign of agreement.

"Let's stay together! We love Boss so even if Princess doesn't accept us, we will still have each other's company!"

Rugged Woman practically jumped in happiness thinking of their future together, her face glowing with excitement.

"I... I... how?"

Subordinate Woman's eyes shined for a few brief seconds before dimming down instantly. The light extinguished as quickly as it had appeared, snuffed out by reality.

"My father... this family... I can't just..."

"Why are you hesitating? Just tell your stupid father that you want to leave! You told me yourself he's not as bad as he seems."

Rugged Woman stepped closer, her voice rising with passion and urgency. "Just run away with me! We're Boss's women... let's stay together!"

She pulled Subordinate Woman into a tight embrace, holding her as if she could physically keep her from slipping away into darkness. Her arms wrapped around the smaller woman's frame, squeezing tightly.

Subordinate Woman shook her head slowly against Rugged Woman's shoulder, then reached out and gently patted her back in small, steady pats. Comforting her even while being comforted.

"I don't think Boss will ever come to us. I think we shouldn't live together... the more we are closer, the more we will think about Boss."

Her trembling voice cracked with emotion. Each word felt fragile, ready to shatter at any moment.

"He was nice to us, but I don't think he wants to have any more ties with us. He never even asked where we live."

Tears began gathering in her eyes….. She thought of him a lot when they were going away from the Queen Palace hoping he would come to her and ask where she lives, sure they could go to him but .....sigghhh..... Her tears pooled at the corners, threatening to spill over at any second.

"And I think we should also stop making his life hard. You saw how angry Princess got. We can't ruin their life for our own good... this isn't fair to Boss!"

Her voice broke completely on the final words. She pressed her forehead against Rugged Woman's shoulder, arms wrapping around her in a tight, desperate embrace as tears streamed freely down her face. Wet trails carved paths down her cheeks, dripping onto the Rugged woman's clothing.

For a long moment, neither spoke. Rugged Woman clenched her fist in frustration, her jaw tight with barely contained emotion. Her entire body trembled with the effort of holding back her own feelings.

Finally, she pulled back from the embrace and gripped Subordinate Woman's shoulders firmly with both hands. She looked directly into those teary eyes, refusing to let her look away.

"If Boss tells me to stop, I will stop. But right now, he hasn't said anything."

Her voice was fierce with determination, burning with stubborn resolve.

"I will ask for forgiveness from Princess if I need to. Don't worry... I'll make sure we can at least be on speaking terms with him!"

She turned to run, but felt a gentle hand holding her back. Looking over her shoulder, she saw the nervous, sad expression painted across Subordinate Woman's face.

Rugged Woman's expression softened completely. She turned back around, cupped Subordinate Woman's face with both hands, and pressed their foreheads together gently.

"Don't give up," she whispered, her breath warm against the other's skin. "I will come back to you, so sit tight and wait for me. Even if nothing goes right, we have each other, right?"

She paused, letting her words sink in.

"You love me, right?"

She leaned in slowly, her lips hovering just a breath away from the other's. Tears slipped freely down Subordinate Woman's cheeks as she gave a small, trembling nod.

"Only after Boss," she whispered in voice soft and a shy genuine smile curved her lips despite the tears.

Rugged Woman chuckled low in her throat. "You little rascal… same here, hehe."

Their faces drifted closer still. Warm sweet breath mingled in the narrow space between them as Rugged woman move very slowly towards her face, their lips were so near they could almost taste each other, feel the heat radiating from each other skin...

But at the final heartbeat, Subordinate Woman tilted her head aside. And also at the same time, Rugged Woman mirrored her movement, both retreating at the same fragile moment.

"I want Boss to be my first," Subordinate Woman confessed, cheeks flaming scarlet. Her entire face burned with embarrassment.

Rugged Woman's gaze softened fully understanding her feelings. "Ah… not my first, but before I kiss you, I want Boss to kiss me first too." Rugged woman smiled lovingly thinking if Boss would even want to kiss her, but if he did then she would be the happiest woman alive!!

For a long second they simply stared at one another. Wide-eyed with flushed red face, caught in the absurdity and sweetness of it all.

Then both dissolved into quiet, bubbling laughter that spilled out between them.

"Hehehe… I LOVE YOU, RUGGED WOMAN," Subordinate Woman murmured, her fragile smile radiant. and utterly beautiful even though the tears still clings to her lashes.

She leaned forward and pressed a lingering kiss to Rugged Woman's cheek. Her soft lips stayed there for some time feeling the softness of Rugged woman skin and tried her best to memorize the warmth and texture of skin beneath them. She savored every second of contact.

"AAH..."

A helpless moan escaped Rugged Woman. Her hands flew up, fingers digging gently but firmly into Subordinate Woman's shoulders. She anchored herself against the sudden rush of feeling that flooded through her body.

Subordinate Woman pulled back just a fraction, eyes shining with shy delight and newfound confidence.

In return, Rugged Woman dipped her head and brushed her lips tenderly along the curve of the Subordinate woman neck. She inhaled deeply, greedily, drawing in the faint scent of sweat mixed with soap and something uniquely hers. She smelled it hard as though she could keep it forever inside her lungs, preserving her precious smell into her own body.

"I LOVE YOU TOO," she breathed against skin, voice rough with affection, "MY SWEET SUBORDINATE WOMAN."

They lingered in that fragile intimacy a little longer, touching each other soft skins and feeling their breathes, at last both girls touch their foreheads and stay like that for a long time, feeling their love for each other and for a man they both loved dearly...Until finally Rugged Woman stepped back reluctantly.

She gave one last long look, drinking in every detail of the woman before her. Then turned and walked away.

Behind her remained a solitary, beautiful figure framed in the grimy entranceway. Alone again. Yet cradling a small, stubborn warmth deep in her chest.

Subordinate Woman turned around slowly, grabbing her bag tightly with both hands. The fabric crumpled under her grip. Inside were her tunnel job outfit, some money, and cloth covered in sweat and blood. All given to her by Zack. She breathed heavily, trying desperately to steady her nerves, and walked inside through the gate.

It was the usual path she took to go to the tunnels from the mansion every day. But this time her heart was pounding harder than ever before. Instead of taking her normal route through the servants' quarters, she took an unfamiliar turn and entered the main building.

As she got deeper and deeper toward her father's office, her heartbeat climbed higher and higher. It thundered in her ears, drowning out everything else.

Will Father allow me to go? I never thought of going away before, but this time I want to leave here. I want to live a life with someone who loves me and cares for me...

"ARE YOU A WHORE? YOU DON'T HAVE ANY SKILLS, SO YOUR FATHER SENT YOU TO THE TUNNELS TO WORK! LIVE A LIFE AWAY FROM HIM!"

Suddenly, Natalia's harsh words filled her mind. They echoed over and over, poisoning her thoughts. Subordinate Woman's hands clenched around her bag as she walked ahead in a daze, Princess's voice drowning out everything else around her.

She slowly reached her father's office and asked very meakly, she didn't dare to look up at the guard's contemptuous eyes.

"Umm... is Fath... is Sir inside?"

"No, he hasn't come back yet. Wait there."

The guard spoke without giving her a second look, dismissing her completely. His tone was flat, uninterested in her, giving her the vibe that she was beneath his notice.

Subordinate Woman bowed deeply and went to sit on a sofa placed against the wall. Her movements were fully rigid, she was very uncomfortable here, in her whole life there were only very few times she came here and every time she did it was not for happy reasons... Her mind slowly started spiralling downward, her entire life passing before her eyes in fragments. Memories flooded through her consciousness, each one sharper and more painful than the last.

But suddenly it got cut off by a cheerful voice echoing down the corridor from somewhere nearby. She shuddered violently at the sound. Her fingers fidgeted nervously in her lap as she kept her head down, not daring to look up at whoever was approaching.
