"What do you mean?"
Caleb Sherman was confused. "Mom, are you bad-mouthing my brother-in-law? I'm telling you, I won't stand for it. My brother-in-law is the best man in the world!"
"Stop wasting your breath here."
Cecilia Morgan glanced at him, "Get the table ready for dinner!"
At the dining table, Caleb Sherman cautiously observed Eve Sherman's expression. "Sis, when are you leaving after coming here? I can't sleep well on the couch. I'm tall, and the couch is just too uncomfortable for me."
"Then sleep on the floor."
Cecilia Morgan interrupted impatiently.
"Mom, you've changed. You used to let me sleep in the bed and my sister on the couch."
"That was when I was blind."
Cecilia Morgan's tone wasn't good, leaving Caleb Sherman stunned.
"What's wrong with you lately? Are you going through menopause? I calculated the time, and it's about right. Menopause is important to address. You need to stay calm, or you might want to see a doctor."
"Alright, you better say less."
