Eve Sherman hung up the phone and drove straight home.
When she was downstairs at home, she saw a luxury car that didn't fit the surroundings parked at the entrance.
The driver was waiting in the car.
She exchanged a glance with the driver. The driver hesitated, then looked away, without further engaging with her.
Eve Sherman only found him familiar but couldn't recall where she'd seen him before.
She didn't have time to think, briskly heading upstairs.
She opened the door, saw the person on the sofa, and her heart sank.
Autumn Ellison also turned her head, looking at her coldly.
"Eve, you finally came back."
Cecilia Morgan quickly approached, grabbing her wrist, "This person, sat here from the moment she came in, saying weird things. Your grandma is already very upset."
Eve Sherman glanced at Mrs. Sherman who looked displeased, then stepped forward, standing in front of Autumn Ellison.
