Chapter 164 - Chapter 164 – Seastone Bullets, the Bug Exploit Hypothesis!

In Ren's estimation, Nojiko's current strength was more than enough to handle pirates with bounties under ten million. But once the bounty exceeded that range—victory was no longer guaranteed.

Nojiko's flames could reach temperatures of 800°C.

That heat could incinerate a person to ash in Ren's previous world, but the process would take hours.

In battle, however, simply burning through flesh and blood was already fatal.

Still, this was the Grand Line. Any pirate with a bounty exceeding ten million Beli had a few tricks up their sleeve. By Ren's own calculations, pirates around the thirty-million-Beli range could pose a serious threat to Nojiko.

After all—

Pirates of that level were either monstrous in physique, like Bon Clay, who survived countless lightning strikes without dying, meaning he could easily withstand short bursts of fire.

Or they were master swordsmen, whose single slash might be enough to cut through Nojiko's flame armor.

And if the opponent happened to be a Zoan-type Devil Fruit user, they could likely resist her fire outright.

Flames could certainly wound them, but killing those long-health-bar monsters outright was another matter entirely.

That was why Ren had assigned Nojiko and Nami to handle the weaker Mr. 4 team.

But now—it seemed that weakness had been patched.

And not just patched—it had evolved.

Ren picked up a slightly tattered teddy bear,about the size of a schoolbag, easily held in one's arms.

Though it looked ordinary to Ren, it radiated a faint, ominous aura.

[Cursed Bear Plushie]

Origin: Runeterra

Type: Item

Effect: A cursed bear plushie, Tibbert, crafted from the remains of Tibbers. Once it recognizes a "master," it links to them, siphoning their primary energy and transforming into a corresponding cursed bear.

For instance, absorbing fire will create a Flame Bear, while absorbing lightning will form a Thunder Bear.

Once linked, Tibbert gains multiple traits: Command, Gigantification, Sharing, and Cursed Growth.

Command Trait: After the bond forms, Tibbert obeys the master's mental commands,and will instinctively protect them even without orders.

Gigantification Trait: Tibbert continually drains and stores a portion of the master's power. When enough energy accumulates, it can enter battle, descending in a massive strike that deals tremendous damage in an area.

Sharing Trait: Tibbert draws power from the master as fuel. The deeper the link, the more durable Tibbert becomes—even if destroyed, it will slowly regenerate as long as its master lives.

Cursed Growth Trait: Influenced by its original remains, Tibbert endlessly craves power. It devours enemies and absorbs their souls,constantly amplifying its cursed strength. The more it kills, the stronger its three primary stats become—with a maximum growth cap at C++ rank.

Cost: None

Note: Currently very weak.

Another powerful prize. The most intriguing part—it had no cost at all.

Its strength scaled purely with the master's power and the growth of its curse. And a C++ stat cap was nothing to scoff at.

Ren had already begun building a formula in his head:

Sunny Doll + Blaze Crown + Cursed Bear Plushie = Qualitative Transformation.

Nojiko's Dragon Talisman was a replica, but it still contained immense flame energy—she simply had no proper outlet to unleash it.

With these components combined, that problem vanished.

The Sunny Doll would alter the weather,creating her home-field advantage.

The Dragon Talisman would provide a base energy source.

The Blaze Crown would refine that power, transforming it into something in Nojiko's image—on par with the Flame-Flame Fruit, if not even stronger.

After all, the Mera Mera no Mi seemed to have a ceiling on its temperature.

Otherwise, how could magma overpower fire? That contradiction still haunted Ren.

Tibbert, meanwhile, would act like a heavy tank—a frontline shield protecting Nojiko and securing her combat space.

An entire flame system had practically assembled itself. The only flaw was the upper limit—it still couldn't match the power of a Yonko-class monster.

But for now, that was more than enough.

After all, this was only a 10-million-Beli lottery pool. One couldn't ask for miracles.

Ren was certain that once he entered the next-tier prize pool, the rewards would scale dramatically. Then he could help Nojiko take yet another leap forward.

With the Dimensional Roulette, "limits" were merely temporary.

Of course—he could already predict that once he gave all this to Nojiko, Nami would definitely grow envious and demand equal treatment.

Ren sighed. He was prepared for that. Perhaps the appearance of that Tifa Doll had been a reflection of his own emotional state. It was time to confront that issue head-on.

Aside from that, there were a few minor prizes.

Vitality Pills—just standard cultivation tonics.

Human Essence Pills—similarly, supplements that converted nutrients into Qi energy.

It was worth noting that after persistent training, Ren's Purple Qi Foundation was nearly complete.

Once solidified, his Qi cultivation would advance to a new level—and his demand for elixirs would skyrocket.

That made him start paying closer attention to resource accumulation.

Cultivating Qi was inherently time-consuming. Even the initial Purple Qi Rising Foundation stage required a hundred days at minimum, and without medicinal support, progress was painfully slow.

Later stages would take years, unless one "paid to win" and bought time through resources.

Another item drew his attention—a book titled "On the Subtleties of Qi Techniques" written by Lan Minghua, the same eccentric master from Scissor Seven who loved pretending to be a beggar.

In the original story, one of his absurd feats involved using inner energy to generate continuous shockwaves that carried people thousands of miles to the Xuanwu Kingdom—a technique more akin to immortal arts than martial ones.

Ren naturally didn't underestimate this text. He stored it carefully, intending to study it before bed.

That left one more combination reward—a new skill and its matching crystal.

[Skill Engraving Technique]

Origin: Magical Dimension

Type: Skill

Effect: Injects vast refined energy to activate a personal magic array that scans the user's abilities and powers, generating a list.

The user may expend three Mana Crystals to extract one of their own extraordinary abilities and seal it within a Skill Crystal.

When that crystal is later shattered,the stored ability can be granted to another person.

Cost: Blank Crystal

[Blank Crystal]

Origin: Magical Dimension

Type: Container

Effect: A special magical vessel capable of preserving designated data indefinitely.

Cost: None

Without a doubt, this was a strategic-level ability—a means to drastically expand the team's ceiling and versatility.

However…

It required suitable skills to transfer, and a sufficient stock of Mana Crystals.

Once again, Ren felt the looming pressure of material scarcity.

If he weren't saving for the grand prize, he'd have already spent spins on replenishing consumables.

Redstone to power the Iron Knights, Campfires to boost Steam Generator efficiency, and Mana Crystals for almost every major ability—his list of needs grew endlessly.

"Let's hope the Silver Roulette offers replacements or bulk quantities", Ren mused, finishing his first round of draws.

Then he began his second ten-draw set—another hundred million Beli vanished in moments.

Colored lights flashed one after another:

{Drawn — Imaginary Space}

{Drawn — Campfire}

{Drawn — Campfire}

{Drawn — Lucky Charm: Mazu Temple}

{Drawn — War Hawk}

{Drawn — Seastone Bullet ×1}

{Drawn — Seastone Handcuffs}

{Drawn — Campfire}

{Drawn — Storm Squall}

{Drawn — Human Essence Pill}

Ren stored the Human Essence Pill inside his spatial inventory, while the Campfires were handed to the Iron Knights to install near the Steam Generators.

The result was immediate—a 30% boost in generator efficiency, eliminating the need for any more power rationing aboard the Enlightenment.

With a few more installations, he could even regulate temperature and airflow across the ship 24/7—a luxurious convenience.

In emergencies, all power could be redirected to propulsion, allowing blitz-speed maneuvers.

That was why Ren craved the Campfire reward so much—comfort mattered. Life with electricity and life without it were two entirely different worlds.

Next came the Seastone Handcuffs—standard Marine restraints for Devil Fruit users,though weaker than the high-grade version that Bonney wore.

But the real highlight…was a single bullet.

[Seastone Bullet]

Origin: One Piece Dimension, Wano Country

Type: Consumable

Effect: Crafted from Seastone—the condensed essence of the sea, harder than steel and extremely difficult to process.

Only a handful of Wano's master craftsmen could forge it using secret techniques, and even then, a single bullet required an entire month of work.

They were exceedingly rare—even a Marine Vice Admiral would struggle to obtain one.

However, once fired into a target, the Seastone embedded within the body would render any Devil Fruit user powerless—draining their strength and nullifying their abilities.

Cost: None

"Good stuff! This thing paired with Ambition could make Crocodile choke on his own sand…If I'm lucky, maybe even land a finishing blow."

Ren narrowed his eyes, loading the Seastone Bullet into the chamber of his rifle, Ambition.

He had a daring idea.

Ambition had the property of infinite ammunition, and one of his Enchanted Books contained the Infinity Enchantment.

If that enchantment worked with the Seastone Bullet, it would effectively give him an endless anti-Devil-Fruit trump card.

But he wasn't sure if such a bug exploit would actually function—after all, Ambition's ammo was generated by its own internal system, not by consuming physical bullets.

Ordinary rounds were one thing—but a bullet imbued with special properties like Seastone might not replicate through system logic.

Only one way to find out—he'd have to experiment.
