Chapter 70 - Chapter 70 – The Value of the Silver Roulette!

Ren didn't waste time—he immediately began inspecting the loot.

First off, it was clear that the previous spin had consumed most of his luck. Even with the Lucky Lighter's blessing, there was no jackpot this time.

Still, with a cost of ten million Beli per spin, there shouldn't be any trash in this prize pool.

Three glowing spheres spun lazily on the ground.

A red, blue, and black square pedestal, and a sky-blue pickaxe sitting on what looked like a short, gray T-shaped stand.Ren silently reached into his pocket and pulled out a palm-sized bed—that too was one of the glowing orbs."Is it Minecraft day today?"

[Enchanting Table]

Origin: Minecraft

Type: Rule Item

Effect: When surrounded by bookshelves, it allows enchantments to be applied to equipment or used to create enchanted books. Comes with a complete enchantment catalogue but consumes corresponding materials.

Cost: Experience / Mana / Energy

An enchanting book, huh?

Quite a few useful enchantments could come out of that—not bad at all.

Ren pocketed it and moved on.

[Diamond Shovel – Durability II, Efficiency III]

Origin: Minecraft

Type: Rule Item

Effect: Comes with Durability II and Efficiency III. Can rapidly dig and package materials into blocks without triggering chain reactions in the terrain.

Cost: Durability

Note: Human Excavator!

Good—Lady Luck hadn't abandoned him after all.

Ren broke open the glowing sphere and materialized the azure diamond shovel, planting it beside his feet.

Whether he could escape this predicament might just depend on this thing!

[Anvil]

Origin: Minecraft

Type: Rule Item

Effect: Combines equipment with enchanted books to create enchanted gear.

Cost: None

Ren thoughtfully pulled out the Enchanted Book: Frost Walker, then looked at his Boots of Swiftness—nodding with satisfaction.

[Ender Pearl x7]

Origin: Minecraft

Type: Single-Use Rule Item

Effect: Throw to teleport to the landing spot when the pearl shatters.

Cost: None

Nice.Tactical utility—or a lifesaving tool in emergencies.

Ren thought for a moment, then pulled out his broken Bamboo Dragonfly and stuffed the Ender Pearls into Chester's mouth.

That wrapped up the Minecraft-themed prizes—none of them were garbage.

The rest were equally promising.

[Replica – Cursed Blade Thousand Edge]

Origin: Scissor Seven

Type: Cursed Weapon

Effect: A vicious blade composed of 688 fragments—an imitation most faithful to the original Cursed Blade Thousand Edge. Infused with a bloodthirsty spirit as its weapon soul; once drawn, it must taste blood before returning to its sheath. Can channel Qi to control the 688 fragments for remote attacks, but demands extreme mental fortitude, Qi control, and cerebral capacity.

Cost: Life / Soul / Blood

"What kind of demonic thing is this…?"

Ren frowned, gripping the sheathed blade—and immediately fell into a daze.

In that trance, a grotesque demon face lunged at him, jaws wide.

ROAR—!

A shrill screech mixed with a foul stench slapped him awake. Across the cell, Zoro frowned at the noise.

"It's fine. Just a cursed blade."

Ren pulled out the first-aid kit, then instinctively threw the Replica Thousand Edge into Chester's mouth.

This blade… needed training.

Next was a book—Marine Haki Training Manual.

As the name implied, it was used by Marines to teach Haki to their recruits.

Opening it, Ren found a single sentence on the first page:

"Haki is the power of the spirit!"

"...No kidding."

Ren commented dryly, tossing the manual to Zoro.

"What's this?"

Zoro caught it, confused.

"A skill indispensable for becoming the world's greatest swordsman—like cutting steel. Read it. If you grasp anything, share it with me. You're the prodigy here."

Ren spoke without shame. Urged by his tone, Zoro tucked the manual away.

The final item…

A weapon—vintage, or more accurately, an old-fashioned flintlock pistol.

[Flintlock – Ambition]

Origin:^@#$ (Final Evolution)[1]

Type: Black Equipment

Effect: Holds only one bullet, but has infinite ammo. Continuously charges power outside of battle, or can be charged manually. When fully charged, the weapon enters a permanent Critical Mode and can trigger Rum Song.

Rum Song: The next attack will never miss and stuns the target for three seconds.

Cost: Durability

Note: Though its master abandoned it long ago, it still yearns to sail again and reclaim its glory across the seas!

Ren stared silently at the description.

It looked… way too familiar.

Could it be—Old Fang's flintlock?! Was he going to cross dimensions and hunt him down for this?!

"Calm down, calm down—it says 'abandoned.' Probably safe…"

Wiping nonexistent sweat, Ren solemnly slung Ambition across his back—a relic of his youth reborn.

The last two prizes were skills.

[Silverfall Dagger]

Origin: Dungeon Fighter Online (DNF)

Type: Skill

Effect: Consumes large amounts of stamina to leap several meters into the air, then descend like a meteor, dealing sword energy damage in an area upon impact. Damage scales with user's attributes.

Cost: Stamina

"An attack skill?"

Ren blinked, then grinned—he'd been lacking offensive options.

The martial forms of his Indestructible Vajra Body were serviceable at best; otherwise, he wouldn't have been beaten back by Kuroobi.

[Armor of Glory]

Origin: Magical Dimension

Type: Magic

Effect: Absorbs surrounding sunlight to form heavy armor that can block bullets, partially withstand cannon fire, and slightly boost the user's strength and speed.

Cost: Mana Crystal

"Perfect for the First Calabash template's defense mode. Though… it really does demand mana crystals. I guess the 'Trendsetter' trait tailors rewards to what I need—but seriously, what's with that succubus waterbed?!"

Ren raged internally, while maintaining an eerily calm expression.

It was as if the obscene Succubus Waterbed beside him didn't exist—though Nami's flushed face said otherwise.

"What's wrong with you?"

Zoro noticed her expression.

"N-nothing! Don't you think that bed looks… too much?"

Nami stammered, pointing at the lewdly designed bed. Just looking at it conjured eight different scenarios in her mind.

It was way too perverted!

"It's just a bed. Looks weird, that's all."

Zoro dismissed it with the pure, clueless eyes of a man whose brain held nothing but swords and dreams of supremacy.

How could you reason with such a creature?!

"Perverts see perversion everywhere," Ren retorted, as shameless as ever, before returning to his preparations.

He placed the Anvil, retrieved the Frost Walker enchantment, and set down his Boots of Swiftness.

Clang!

The enchantment took hold—Boots of Swiftness: Frost Walker achieved!

(End of Chapter)

[1] Flintlock – Ambition is a fictionalized, interdimensional version of a legendary gun from another IP, almost certainly referencing the protagonist’s pistol from “Final Evolution (最终进化)”, a 2009 Chinese web novel by 卷土 (Juan Tu) — a story where characters enter movie worlds like Pirates of the Caribbean, Terminator, Resident Evil, etc.In that novel:The protagonist Chu Xuan carries a flintlock pistol that becomes a divine weapon after being strengthened in the Pirates of the Caribbean world. It evolves with him — hence “Final Evolution.”It’s symbolic of his ambition to survive across worlds.
