Chapter 276: End of the Night
Iru hurled himself into the darkness.
The ocean swallowed him instantly — cold, merciless — dragging him down into its deepest abyss.
The world above vanished.
Only crushing pressure, freezing silence, and regret remained.
Moments later, the surface exploded.
Rob Seius dove in, gripping Iru by the collar and dragging him back to shore. Water poured from Iru's body as he coughed weakly, barely conscious.
Rob threw him onto the sand.
"If you want to die so badly," Rob said coldly, turning his back,
"do it out of my sight."
He walked away with slow, deliberate steps, his black coat fluttering behind him like a shadow refusing to fade.
Nearby, a Celestial Being stood watching Ashryn — bleeding, shaking, eyes burning with rage.
"I want this little guy," the Celestial Being said calmly.
"Bring him onto our ship."
Rob Seius nodded.
The Celestial Being turned and walked toward the vessel, its silhouette disappearing into the smoke and fire.
Rob's voice cut through the silence.
"Hey, boy. Come with us."
Ashryn's eyes flared.
With a scream trapped in his chest, he lunged at Rob Seius — pure rage, no fear left.
THUD.
One sharp punch.
Ashryn collapsed to the ground, unconscious.
The flames continued to crackle.
The smoke slowly drifted into the sky.
And so, the night of massacre ended.
