After working for hours endlessly without rest, Ryan walked into the room to take a quick bath. He wondered where his Ari was since she had left him alone for five hours already. Tsk! He was missing her so bad. As he showered, a thought went to his head, and he smiled. He finished quickly and walked to his closet to dress. On getting out, Ari was already inside. She was with that dumb fish that stole his name. His teeth gritted for a moment before he smiled a little and walked to her. She was watching the fish as she poured food for it in the tank. Watching it eat made her smile. Ryan stood by her side until she noticed him.
"Ryan" she stood up "Where are you going?" her eyes scanned him up and down. He was dressed in white, standing there like an angel.
"Go get dressed" he told her.
"Eh? Why?"
"Just do it" sighing, she left to dressed. After a while, she came back and met him standing at the edge of balcony. His hands were deep in his pockets as he stared at the sky with a far off gaze.
"Ryan, are we going somewhere?" she asked "It's late. Already past ten" Ryan turned and looked at her, he stared at her for a while, looking like he was deep in thoughts. She wondered why he was just staring at her but she couldn't even ask.
"Do you trust me?" he finally spoke.
"Huh?"
"Do you trust me, Aria?" his tone was deep and demanding. His eyes too. Why was he suddenly asking such questions?
"I.. I trust you" she said and his gaze narrowed. Thinking he misunderstood because she stuttered, she smiled and repeated her words. "I trust you, Ryan"
"Then jump" his tone was commanding, his gaze dark and her heart shuddered slightly.
"H-huh?"
"Jump. Over." he spoke firmly. Aria gulped, a tiny fear crept up to her heart but it disappeared as early as it came. Why does he want her to jump? To her death? He really wants her to jump. Her hands clenched, her teeth gritted. She wanted to ask why. But the words got stuck in her throat. Arianna's legs moved and she walked to the very edge. She held the rim and started climbing, gazing at him and waiting for him to say 'stop'. But he didn't. He watched her climb, her right leg was already at the top. He could hear her heart beating wildly, she was scared, her eyes were red, but she still chose to fall. To trust him, even when she knew she was going to die when she falls. She stayed that way for a few seconds waiting for him to ask her not to jump anymore but he just stared at her with an empty gaze. Seeing he wasn't going to say anything, Aria threw herself back, she was falling. Her eyes closed, she can't believe she just did that. She can't believe she just committed suicidal murder. To herself . They both did. Well, she would see her mother again, right?
She kept falling, waiting for death to take her. But instead, she fell into that warm, cozy, and comforting.... What is that? Her eyes fluttered open slowly and she looked up. She saw him. In his arms she had fallen. She blinked her eyes repeatedly, wondering if she had died and she was seeing his face for the last time. He smiled at her, and put her down. Arianna looked up at the balcony, then back to him. How? He was just there.
"Have I..have I died?" she asked no one in particular.
"No" he answered "You were falling so I caught you"
"You..you... Yah!" she hit his chest hard "Why did you ask me to jump! Why would you do that?"
"I wanted to see how much you trusted me. I'm happy. You just fell for me" he smiled mischievously.
"Eh?"
"You've fallen for me, so deeply" she blinked a few times. How.. Gosh! This man! Ryan chuckled at her expressions, and then he took her hand "Come"
"Where are we going?" she asked while following behind his large strides.
"Somewhere"
"But it's late. We might see bad people. I don't want to get harmed" she pursed her lips.
He stopped and looked at her "You're worried when your boyfriend is with you? Jeez, Aria! Don't worry darling, I'll protect you. Nothing would even happen" he continued walking, pulling her along him.
He walked to the garage which opened once he stepped closer. She wondered if he did magic or it opens whenever someone comes. They both walked inside, and to his motorbike. Pulling the large cloth away from it. Her eyes widened and she gasped.
"You...you have this? Whoa...its so shiny. she traced her fingers on it. Her eyes dazzling.
"Are we going to ride out on it?" she asked excitingly.
"Mm"
"Really? Aigu..it's been so long" his brows creased "Back then in high school, brother Hayden sometimes takes me to school with this, and even bring me back." she cupped her face and smiled silly, reminiscing those times. And the fun of the wind blowing away her hair. On the other hand, Ryan was frowning hard. He imagined her hands around that guy's torso, and the air dropped below freezing. His aura went dark, and so was his gaze. They burned with bloodlust. He wanted to torture. A ruthless villain in white he became.
Arianna turned and looked at him. She blinked, her smile widened "Oh? Are you jealous?"
He looked at her, and his bloodlust aura disappeared. "I'm not" he denied.
"You are" she pinched his cheeks, and smiled mischievously. "You're really jealous. Ah...you look cute when you're jealous too" He didn't say another word and just wore the helmet for her. He was a little forceful, telling her indirectly to shut up. But she still smiled mischievously. He climbed the bike, and she did too, wrapping her arms around his torso and holding him tight like she would never let go. He smiled, before starting the bike and riding out.
