Being that it was the middle of the day, Haley should have been hard at work in her studio, but instead she had snuck back home. At long last, the final picture of her love confession photo album was done. Now all that she had to do was write her final 'I Love You' at the back of the picture. It would have been best for Haley to just bide her time and wait till evening then while Deacon was busy in his study. She could just finish writing her love confession on the final photo and wait for the best moment to give it to Roth, but she had been too impatient.
She had instead headed home and had just been about to take the photo album out of the secret compartment in the shoe rack and write down her last confession when there had been a knock on the door. Not even thinking twice about who it could be, Haley had gone to answer. Now she was regretting that.
