The traitors were forced to their knees before the platform, their heads lowered under the weight of exposed guilt. Two females were brought in after them, and they were the previous food testers the prince had detained earlier on.
Jia recalled seeing a couple physicians when she treated the Crown Prince back in the House of Balance, but the faces kneeling ahead looked new.
"I wasn't prepared for this," Harry whispered, unable to believe his eyes. "It sort of makes sense now. Physician Yun was an expert in foreign medicine before he was brought to serve the Imperial palace." He shook his head. "I believe this is going to create a terrible wedge between the higher-ups and the royals. I heard he's… the son of one of them."
