"What do you mean by that, System?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

[Host, only after this initial travel will you be able to freely choose your own destination.]

"I see…" I nodded slowly, though my earlier surprise still lingered. "I just didn't expect that roulette thing, that's all." Then, a thought crossed my mind. "Anyway, System, can I upgrade you in the future or something?"

[Host, this System is already complete. Upgrading is not possible.]

"Figures," I sighed. "Well, then… go ahead and start the selection. Let's see which world I'll be heading to."

[Affirmative, Host.]

[Beginning selection in 5 seconds.]

[5... 4... 3... 2... 1...]

[Selection complete. The chosen world for the Host is — Attack on Titan.]

I exhaled deeply, half in disappointment and half in excitement. "Sigh… I was hoping for a sword-type world, but maybe this is fate."

Thinking it through, Attack on Titan might actually be perfect. I already knew martial arts, but killing… that's something I wasn't used to. If I wanted to survive and grow stronger in this reality, I had to adapt fast — and there was no better training ground than a world filled with man-eating giants and desperate humans.

Still, I had one more question.

"System, what about time conversion? How much time passes here while I'm in that world?"

[Host, the time conversion ratio is one-to-one. One day in that world equals one day here.]

"Hmm… a 1:1 ratio, huh?" I muttered, thinking. "That's actually convenient. If I stay there for years, the same number of years will pass here. That means when I return, no one will notice any suspicious difference in age. If it had been, say, ten-to-one, I'd come back looking way younger — and that would definitely raise questions, especially from Sunny."

As I was lost in thought, the System's voice echoed once again.

[Host, would you like to depart now?]

"Not yet, System," I said, shaking my head. "I still have things to take care of first."

[Understood, Host.]

I glanced at the group of primitive people who had followed me all this time. They were still there — loyal, curious, and oddly attached. I smiled faintly. "I need to finish teaching them the language first. And if I'm going to build my own family someday… I'll need people I can rely on. Servants, allies, maybe even friends."

Yawning, I stretched and leaned against the cave wall. "Alright then… time to rest. Tomorrow, I'm gonna be busy."

Time Skip — One Month Later

It's been a month since I transmigrated into this world, and honestly… a lot has changed.

For one, the people can now speak English — fluently, or at least well enough to communicate. Watching them progress this fast still amazes me. Thorn has also officially become the leader of the humans. There was a time when some of my own followers argued that I should've been the leader instead, and for a while, the entire tribe was split — half supporting me, half supporting Thorn.

It was chaotic. But I didn't want unnecessary conflict, not when we were just starting to grow as a people. So, I stood up and told everyone that I fully supported Thorn as our leader. That single statement ended the dispute, and the others finally accepted him.

Of course, a few of my followers left after that, choosing to join Thorn's camp instead. I didn't stop them. People follow where they feel they belong, and that's fine. Still, a small group stayed with me — the ones who truly believed in me, not just in the idea of power or leadership.

With Thorn's spear and my sword, the two of us led the tribe in hunting massive beasts — elephants, tigers, even lions. We've grown strong, confident, and organized. Every hunt felt like a step toward building civilization itself.

We also began offering tributes to Him — the being we now call a God. The day He appeared still lingers in everyone's memory. His presence, His strength, His power to kill a giant beast with a single strike — it was divine in every sense. Naturally, the people started worshiping Him, and even Thorn became the center of a new faith, as the first human blessed by God.

As for me? I still participated in the rituals, but I wasn't as devoted as the others. I already knew the truth — He wasn't some mysterious deity. He was Sunny, the main protagonist of the novel I once read. I've read about his power, his divinity, his rise among the gods.

That's why I keep my distance from the worship. I respect Him, but I won't lose myself in blind faith. As long as I don't betray or harm Him, I know He won't care what I do.
