He made that happen, he was the one that suggested the engagement, normally no matter the achievement i had, i hadn't shred my past still, I'm still of a low status, a commoner with nothing but myself to depend on, that lower status of mine should have made the king refuse such an arrangement, but in the contrary the king actually welcomed such an arrangement with open arms and even began to talk with his advisor about the date when they will consummate the marriage .
I finally learned when the king agreed to such a proposal, it was also linked to the fact that i had risen in status and not only had i become the commander of the army, no i had a new status added to me .
I was declared as the old sorcerer disciple, that was the the actual reason to why the king had accepted the marriage proposal, the rumors about me on those past 6 months had agitated the mind of the king, i was been presented to him as someone who was ambitious and that posed quite a grave threat to him the king, my strength and accomplishments didn't help in easing his worries and that was one of the reasons to why he agreed this quickly .
Regina was happy with the arrangement and so was i, but worry and doubt kept gnawing at my mind from time to time, i still didn't no what was the intention of the old man, after he declared that we were a master-disciple, he didn't appear in front of me after that, all that he told me was to get ready the operation will start soon .
I didn't know what is the content of that operation he kept talking about, but i know that he was still intent on killing the princess and the king, the me in the vision couldn't help but reach to the conclusion of maybe he wanted to crown himself as King, but it wasn't like he would gain anything of value by doing something like that, he interfere in everything that ths kingdom had to do, he was also the most influential person on the King council .
What could he possibly want to gain from doing this and why he can't do it himself, he doesn't lack the means to do so in the slightest, all these unanswered questions kept assaulting my head frequently .
Luckily, i hadn't been slacking in my training and was finally able to use Psychic Spellcasting with quite ease, i had also developed a new spell that real me was only able to know of its name, Shackles Of Time .
It seemed to be a binding spell, but without seeing it in action or learn the incantation of it, i can't tell what it actually does .
As usual i was laying in the lap of the sweet princess, i accidentally blurted out a question i had in mind about the reason to why the advisor of the King seem to have no interest in fighting her father over the throne, he got all the qualifications he needed to be able to pull something like that off .
She looked at me strangely, i was able to understand her reaction, since i was currently asking a ridiculous question, but then after a few minutes, she answered that she didn't know much about the in and out of this subject, but she was aware that my master had sworn something akin to a vow or unbreakable oath of some kind to the previous king and that oath blinded him to not attack the kingdom, she said that her dad seemed to be acting strange these days .
She also voiced out her opinion about the old sorcerer, she said she felt threatened by him, she noted in her mind that he seemed to be looking at her and her father with a bit of resentment hidden deep in his eyes and that her father beginning to act strange started after he got visited in the room by the said sorcerer, she too asked me if i know something, but i wasn't able to help her much due to the fact that i was supposedly enslaved and without any thoughts but to obey the orders .
Then was yet another shift in the scene in front me, both Regina and me were getting married tomorrow morning, that when i was contacted by my master, the massage he sent me was quite a brief one, ' it's time, come to the tower .
As i read thos words my heart was beginning to threaten to come out of my chest, i know that day would come, but i didn't know that it will come a day before our marriage, that old man was ruthless with his plan and actions .
Once again the scene shifted, this time even though i was merely recalling Of my memories, i was able to feel that in my heart there was a fire that seemed to turn the world to ash, but i was not even able to move, much less burn the world, that was just indication of how angry and enraged i was, i was handcuffed once again in the dungeon of the tower .
The guy in front me was fooling me all along, i wasn't included in his plans to kill the royal family, my position was something else entirely, i finally know of the truth of the guy in front of me .
The man in front of me was keeping me so that he can borrow my body, he wanted to reincarnate himself in my body, that was his plans for me all along since he first know of my affinity to time, i got the highest affinity towards the Time Element and that what he was exactly looking for all along .
He confessed that he started with the space Element, then using the reincarnation ritual he had acquired, he was able to keep reincarnating himself in the bodies of others inheriting all their talents and affinities, the man in front of me was an old monster who lived for over half a millennial .
He wanted to have high affinity to Time the most mysterious Element in the universe, believing that with my affinity to the Time Element, he would be able to be finally released from his mortal shell like self and become something more, immortal like being, he also wanted to rule the universe .
He told me all of this because time for both me and him was ticking, he was about to die if he didn't perform that ritual and i was enraged at the fact that his plan started with killing the king and the princess and offering them as sacrifices for the ritual .
I had glyphs swirling in my eyes and mind at the end of his words, he was planning to put the blame on me, not only that but he will confront me before doing the ritual and make me confess that i was indeed the culprit, after all i wouldn't be able to say no to him since i'm enslaved and all, at least that what he was still believing .
I finished spellcasting and soon the whole world came to sit still, he included, i began talking steps towards him after i had uncuffed myself, i used shackles of time, it seemed that this weird spell acted somehow how as Anti Mana chains, they swirled around the old sorcerer and fixed him in place, i was neither sad at his deception nor was i angry at his betrayal .
I was just angry at him threatening the woman i love life, after time returned to flow, he saw me out of the handcuffs and he was the one handcuffed and unable to muster any words, he tried spellcasting with his mouth, but no matter what he tried to do, the chains that were in control put a stop to all of his tries .
But as if my sudden action started some weird chain of Interactions the man in front of me was beginning to melt, i thought he was using magic but that was the case at all, the screams of agony that came out of his mouth as he was beginning to turn into something like mud, saying his end was Inevitable, he began to laugh loudly and cursed me to not have a happy life .
Then just a minute before he completely die, he said that the princess and her father should already be dead by now, that little taunt of him forced me to storm the palace, but saw only the body of the King, dead .
The guards suddenly came to check on the marriage arrangements and saw me like that and the king like this, they began to yell that the king was murdered by me .
I was in no mind to care about them in the slightest, i was searching the whole kingdom for the whereabouts of my love, but as if she had disappeared without a trace, she was nowhere in sight, i searched for the whole kingdom and after not finding anything, i finally searched the forest, particularly the place where we were usually meeting .
I saw her sitting there gracefully and she had the same carefree expression on her face, i hurriedly went to her and embraced her, i then checked her up throughly, she seeing me like this, she said that she was fine and that she hadn't got poisoned .
She then pointed towards the sky and she said that under those skies we are one, under those sky we are a husband and wife .
I sensed that something was wrong was her and was about to use magic, but she stopped me and instead gave me a kiss, then began to tell me how much she had joined my company all those years, i was about to use magic again, completely disregarding of her request, but she then started crying .
Then her body that was in my embrace beginning to become weak,both the me in the vision and the me in reality, we both felt heartache, so intense heartache, that dying felt far more merciful than it .
I know she was dying, but i was unable to stop it, unlike all the other time battle mages, i loathed healing, so i wasn't interested in learning about it, how stupid that decision of mine was, as if she was already able to tell exactly what i was thinking, i felt her cold hand suddenly brushes my cheeks, catching all my attention again .
She began asking me that if there was a chance that we meet again, will i still love her, i hold it more closely to me and kissed her on the forehead, promising that in that life we will always be together and even death won't dare to come and separate the two of us .
She brilliantly smiled happy at my promise, she then asked me to promise her a few more things, i was unable to hear any of those promises, but i was able to tell that this recalling of memories was coming to an end, i once again returned back to reality with my face having an unnatural expression all over it, i was troubled by the mix of emotions that i was currently dealing with .

Anger, regret, remorse and on and on, all different emotions were currently assaulting my heart and mind, i was in a coma like state even though i was completely awake and aware of my surroundings, i felt that they were quite strange to me, i attributed it mostly to fact that the last vision of mine was the longest one to date, so i was still a bit disoriented from what had happened in the vision and about what was now happening in reality .
I was still confused about what i was even doing here, but all that confusion and disorientation were swept away when a thought came to mind, Regina is Mari, Regina is alive, for some reason that thought cleared all the doubts that i had in mind, i felt more relaxed than before, i was even beginning to feel more confidence than before, it was said that the first love was indeed different, i believe those words were certainly true .
I fought the urge to call Mari and try to figure whether she remembered us or not, for now, i had much more important matter to tend to, first i need to deal with the mysterious maid .
I entered the room she was sitting in and directly called her, saying :
" Suguha-san, do you have a minute ? .
Still cold face and glaring daggers at me as before, but she still nodded her head at me .
Cutting through the chase, i asked her what i wanted to know directly, saying :
" Who are you exactly ? .
Her reply also marked her first time talking to me face to face, she said :
I'm the maid responsible for keeping the house in check, do you need something else .
Of course She would still deny, but her response just raised my alertness to increase even more .
" You aren't a maid of this house, the owner of this mansion said that the house didn't have a maid serving in it, i won't ask you again, who are you .
Who am I ? .
I don't know if she was taking to herself or what she exactly currently doing, all i know that she currently turning her back towards me, just as i was about to ask again, she suddenly turned and tried to throw something that was in her hands at me, i first thought it was a weapon, so i used Paradox directly, i then saw that what she throw at me was in fact a card, a business card that i was more or less familiar with .
It was similar to the card that my father offered us at the hospital, i was numb from all that happened in the last two hours, i didn't overreact much to this discovery, in an easy going manner, i put my hands in my pockets, that for some reason made her take a fighting stance, i then shook my head at that and took out the phone he gave me and put it on the table and said :
" Call him .
She still guarded, picked the phone and called the bastard .
I told her to put the speaker on, she did so .
We didn't wait much for the call to connect, the voice on the other side seemed quite cheerful as he said :
What did you change your mind, i know that you will come back to your sense .
" That wasn't why i called, i have someone here that wanted to talk to you .
I said this and motioned for her to talk and she for some reason just did that .
The moment he heard her talking through the phone, he on the other side fell silent, i didn't want to continue talking to him, so i cut the matter short, saying :
" YOU REMEMBER WHAT I HAD SAID BEFORE, I HOPE YOU ARE READY FOR WHAT IS COMING FOR YOU. ....
