I looked at the Captain in front of me and was certain that no matter what i said and done now, he was determined to fight me, so instead of trying to dissuade him, i decided that i would go along with him and directly summoned my black colored red edged katana, the moment i did so, i felt that the sword in hand was flickering again as if telling me something .
It was longing for a good fight, that was what i interpreted its flickering as, it already determined the senior in front of me as a suitable target to satisfy its craving for battle, i nodded to it in response and felt its excitement coursing through me .
I also couldn't help but glance at it a bit more intently, wondering why i wasn't still able to recall its name up to this point, i felt its aggravation, i was also able to tell that when i do remember its name something great will happen, i felt it in both the sword and me .
The Captain is sparring with that weird guy Ryuu .
I don't know who screamed that but suddenly the guys that were supposedly be training, stopped training and instead made away for us to fight, all looking forward to see who would come out victorious between the two of us, i couldn't help but curse at the guy who called me weird internally but on the outside neither the Captain nor me reacted much to what was happening, we were too focused on one another .
Each party was feeling the determination the other party have through his eyes, both parties was pride driven, both parties were aiming to declare himself as the strongest .
My stance was natural, it was my best suited style, the one i used in my previous life, with the sword laying beside me, the Captain took what seemed to be some kind of a Martial stance .
His left foot was a step forward than his body, and the sword is held pointing upright with the hilt in front of the right shoulder. The blade should slope slightly to the rear. When cutting, the sword is raised above the head .
Even though i didn't know what kind of stance was that, I'm still able to tell through experience that it was a powerful stance that might excel in both Offence And Defense, if one wasn't carful with dealing with it .
Wasting no more time, i too activated my Prana and felt much stronger than before, i was already able to tell that he was strengthening himself as well, then i launched my first attack, seeing that with his stance, it didn't seem he would be the one taking the lead in attacking, i pierced through with thrust .
But he sidestepped at the last moment and without breaking his posture he slashed at my arm, i saw that his sword was flickering with light as it came slashing at me, but luckily through my current use of Herculean Strength Light Art, the tip of the sword wasn't able to pierce any more into my skin, but even though the attack didn't do anything other than damaging my clothes .
I was forced to retreat and coughed back blood, the attack just now reminded me of the technique Sophia used against me before, the effects of whatever light art he used allowed his attacks to work on me even though i should have parred it or even directly blocked it .
His attack was wrecking havoc on the insides of my body, but i was able to extinguish those effects of it pretty quickly, by forcing the invading Prana that was in my body out by increasing my own Prana output, forcing it to cease existing .
I was lamenting about lowering my guard down just now, but that wasn't the only regretful thing i did, i looked down on the Captain just now and displayed a conceited attitude that had nothing to do with who i was in my past life, that was all on the current me .
I could have used Paradox to fend against the attack of the Captain, but i instead took it for granted that my attack wouldn't miss and even if his attack did indeed hit me, it won't be able to do that much of damage, i was arrogant just now and coughing blood was enough to teach me a lesson .
That was the use of Venus just now, in case of you were wondering, Venus is a light technique that allowed one charge their weapons with Prana, the moment it enter the body of the opponent it transform into some kind of toxin and began assaulting the body of the enemy from the inside .
He then put his sword on his shoulder and continued to say :
Normally without powerful enough Prana or Mana, you can't be able to get rid of it this as quick as you just did, but that in itself an indication of how talented you are and how strong was your Mana compared to mine .
So that what that weird technique was called, i wonder if i had learned some technique similar to it in my past life, as i was thinking of this, i saw that the frowned face of the Captain grew more intense as he said :

We both nodded at each other and smiled, then i saw he took a drawing sword stance, by holding the sword behind his back and leaning with his body and arms forward, i was still in my same natural stance as before, but i did used Heal to fix the damage i suffered from internally, even though my Prana was healing my body, it wasn't just fast enough .
I inscribed the glyphs on the air and began walking towards the Captain in unhurried manner, he seeing me like this seemed to be angered by me still not using Paradox .
As i got in range of his sword to strike, in a swift motion, i saw his sword was upon me, but he had a shock on his face as he and his sword were both moving in slow motion, i can tell that this attack of his was probably using Venus again as the sword was engulfed in Prana again but, i was still moving unhurriedly as before and just put the sword on his back and stopped moving allowing time to continue flowing again .
The moment i did so, i saw that the Captain has smirked a little, i had a bad premonition suddenly appearing in the back of my mind, that premonition was telling me to move, i have enough experience than to be doubting my senses, i once again began moving and just as i took 2 to 3 steps, the bad premonition i kept on feeling disappeared, i looked backwards and saw a cloud of lightening was above my head, a second from striking me on the previous position i stood down .
I was surprised by this happening and my first thought was that there must be a Kuroma here helping and interfering with our fight in secret, but after looking at everyone faces, i wasn't able to see anyone releasing Mana, but that was illogical .
Can there be somone that have an ability that allowed him to do similar things like my new way of spellcasting, i wonder .
I activated Herculean Strength and ended this farce with a slash that went past his shoulder, the moment the slash hit the ground, everything was moving again, but the fight was already over, due to the fact that the Captain already understood how grave was my attack would have been if he was the one at the receiving end .
The earth of the training ground had completely shattered, two swirls of the shockwave caused by both of our attack, both ended up clashing with each other, creating the illusion of an air cyclone beginning to appear, the whole training ground went silent .
Then loud cheers and shout began to follow, the Captain shocked face was still there on his face for some time more, before he finally accepted what just happened and with a smile, he bowed directly in front of me, shocking me and all the audience in the training ground, he then said :
I believe that i justly lost and that i owe you an apology for what had happened this morning, i should have talked to you and asked you about what were your thoughts about all this first before recklessly reporting that in, i hope you forgave me .
" I accept your apology and forgive you, Captain, so could please raise your head .
He still stayed like that for 10 seconds before he finally listened to my request in asking him to raise his head up, the moment he did so, i was the one bowing this time, i said :
" I too want to make use of this chance and apologize for what i did yesterday, i too misjudged the Captain and didn't give you neither the time nor the ears to hear your views on this matter or listening to your explanation and for that I'm too sorry .
He asked me to get up and i complied, then he said reaching towards me with his hand :
I believe the dispute between the two of us is now over .
I nodded my head and took his hand with mind and we both handshaked, i also remembered that i still owe him my thanks for taking my family situation in mind, so after we broke the handshake, i bowed to him in gratitude for that .
He said that it was his fault to begin with and that there was no need for me to do this, him being aware of this and taking responsibility for it, already allowed me to bury all the dissatisfaction that i had towards him, that guy was a truly remarkable guy .

The whole kind demeanor that he just had suddenly changed as he turned his head towards the guys that were feeling very touched by the exchange they just so, some of them was beginning to even raise their hands and was about to start clapping .
But then the stern voice of the Captain sounded in their ears, all their bodies shook and without exception all of them turned to training in an instant .

I looked at him wonderingly, not having a clue about what he might have in mind, but i'm curious to know why was he feeling down, it most certainly have something to do with the subject he wanted to discuss, him seeing me like this, he didn't hesitate before saying :

Suddenly an oblivious girl voice sounded surprising both her and me and a third party that suddenly appeare, all the parties included react in the same way, all of the three said :
