The white fox that had just approached was swatted away with a tail.
Screams erupted from the crowd, and the herd of Disaster Beasts paused, watching the corpse as if they were monkeys.
Shakily stood up again, the white fox could no longer see the Disaster Beasts and the crowd.
She could only see her mother in the distance, calling out to her figure.
So, she walked over again, only to be rammed away by another Disaster Beast, breaking a leg this time.
Even the crowd, who were initially crying out in fear and despair, grew silent.
The Disaster Beasts halted their movements too, tilting their heads in confusion, watching the stubborn girl rise again.
Limping, dragging her broken right leg, grasping her innards and intestines, she emerged from the rubble covered in blood.
Everyone and all the Disaster Beasts watched that blood-soaked figure, who should have long died.
She stepped forward, positioning herself in front of everyone.
