After Famoura turned eleven, the long-awaited day finally arrived.
The royal children of the Felóenz bloodline had now all crossed the age of ten. According to the ancient traditions of the castle, this meant the time had come for the Revealing Morning, the ceremony in which the magical abilities of each royal child would be announced before the entire kingdom.
Among the royal heirs were the three sons of Prince Phillip and Princess Marie:
Prince Henry, the eldest
Prince Lucien, one of the twins
Prince Louis, the other twin
And finally, the daughter of Prince Charles and Princess Catherine—
Princess Famoura.
According to the ancient laws of the Felóenz family, every royal child is born with a mysterious birthmark. This mark appears on the right side of the neck, just beneath the ear. The number and shape of the crosses within the mark reveal how many magical abilities the child possesses.
On the morning of the ceremony, at exactly 5:30 AM, King Francis stepped onto the highest balcony of the castle. Below him, hundreds of citizens had gathered in anticipation.
Raising his voice, the king addressed the crowd.
"My people," he announced proudly, "today your wait finally ends. Today you shall learn what magical capabilities our princes and princess possess."
The crowd grew silent.
"First, step forward—Prince Henry."
Prince Henry walked forward confidently. King Francis placed upon his head a crown forged from green crystal.
"This," the king declared, "is the first son of Prince Phillip and Princess Marie, and the eldest child of the castle. But more importantly…"
He paused dramatically.
"After two thousand years, the Felóenz family has once again been blessed with a child who possesses the rare and legendary power of Omnikinesis."
Gasps spread throughout the crowd.
"The birthmark on Prince Henry contains more crosses than any other royal child in centuries. Because of this, he has inherited every magical ability that once belonged to the kings and queens of our bloodline combined."
The king raised his hand.
"This power is known as Omnikinesis."
The citizens erupted into loud applause, cheering with excitement and pride.
King Francis continued.
"Now let us speak of the twins."
He gestured toward one of them.
"Though they were born moments apart, Prince Lucien, who arrived one minute earlier, shall be considered the second son."
The king placed a blue crystal crown upon Lucien's head.
"This crown represents two magical abilities. Prince Lucien's birthmark contains four crosses, granting him the powers of Pyrokinesis and Cryokinesis."
He turned toward the crowd.
"Yes, my people—Prince Lucien can command both fire and ice."
The crowd applauded once more.
"And now," the king continued, "our third prince—Prince Louis."
Prince Louis stepped forward.
King Francis placed a black crystal crown upon him.
"This crown signifies a single magical power. Prince Louis possesses Geokinesis—the ability to control the stones and earth of the world itself. With this power, he can command rocks and even raise mountains."
More applause echoed through the castle grounds.
Finally, King Francis raised his hand again.
"And now… we come to the last royal child of this castle—Princess marie-||( Famoura felóenz)."
He lifted a maroon crystal crown.
Suddenly, quiet laughter spread among some of the citizens.
The king sighed lightly.
"Yes… it may seem amusing," he said. "But sometimes being the youngest child can be difficult. Often, the last-born receives fewer magical gifts."
Famoura(marie-||) frowned, clearly annoyed.
"Stop talking and do your job," she said coldly. "Just tell me my powers. I don't have all day."
The crowd murmured at her boldness.
King Francis cleared his throat.
"Very well. Princess marie || (Famoura felóenz)possesses the power of Oneirokinesis—the ability to control the dreams of others."
Famoura's(marie-||)eyes narrowed.
"That's a lie," she said firmly.
The crowd fell silent.
"I don't just have Oneirokinesis," she continued. "I also possess Phobokinesis—the power to hide things using fear and illusion."
Prince Henry laughed loudly.
"Foolish girl," he said mockingly. "Only the second-born child can receive two powers. Nice joke, though."
Prince Louis smirked.
"She really is foolish. Be grateful you even got one power."
Famoura crossed her arms.
"Oh? You don't believe me?"
She slowly raised her hand.
With intense focus, she pointed her fingers toward King Francis's chair.
In an instant—
The chair vanished.
The entire crowd gasped in shock.
King Francis stood frozen, deep in thought.
Then Minister William quickly stepped forward.
"Everyone remain calm," he announced. "In the history of the Felóenz family, there have been rare occasions when the last-born child unexpectedly receives the powers of a second-born."
The crowd slowly settled.
King Francis nodded.
"You are correct."
He raised his voice once again.
"However, my people—do not be distracted by surprises. Instead, we should celebrate the true pride of the Felóenz family."
He gestured proudly toward Prince Henry.
"After waiting two thousand years, our kingdom has finally been blessed with a man who holds the legendary power of Omnikinesis."
The crowd erupted into celebration once again.
But among all the cheering voices…
Famoura stood silently.
And deep inside, something far greater than anyone imagined had just begun to awaken.
