Princess Famoura (Marie II) looked around and said firmly,
"Come on, let's clean this library."
"We can do it, Your Highness. You should rest here," said Elizabeth Félix.
"No," Famoura replied. "I said we will clean it together. Now give me that cloth."
Anthony Félix picked up a cloth and handed it to her.
Soon, everyone began cleaning—some in the left corner, others in the right. Famoura carefully dusted the book section, wiping each book with focus and determination.
After three hours, the entire library was finally clean.
"Finally, we did it!" Elizabeth said proudly.
Edward Laurent looked at Famoura curiously.
"By the way, how did you even find this library?"
Famoura replied calmly,
"I was searching for some history, and that's how I found this place. No one comes here because the books are damaged—some are wet, some are torn. No one thought it was worth spending money on… but I only care about knowledge."
Just then, Victor Laurent walked dramatically toward a cupboard and stood in front of it.
"I feel like all the books in this library belong to me!" he said, laughing loudly.
Before he could continue, his older brother Edward pushed him slightly.
"There's a limit to lying."
Suddenly, the cupboard gave way—and Victor fell straight down, as if from the first floor into a hidden underground space.
Everyone froze in shock.
"A secret passage…?"
They rushed toward the opening.
From below, Victor's voice echoed,
"I'm fine… I think."
Famoura stepped forward.
"I think there's another library down there. But first, help Victor."
"I'll bring a ladder," said Anthony.
"And I'll bring a lamp," added Edward.
Anthony placed the ladder down.
"I'll go first. I'm not scared."
But the moment he stepped down, a huge, terrifying spider crawled toward him. Panicking, he rushed back up immediately.
From below, Victor shouted,
"Whatever you're doing, hurry up and get me out of here!"
Famoura stepped forward confidently.
"Move aside. Everyone, follow me. There might be something important down there."
Holding the lamp, she led the way.
One by one, they climbed down. Famoura reached out her hand and helped Victor stand up.
Instead of checking on him, everyone silently followed behind Famoura, drawn by curiosity.
Victor limped along, holding his back.
As they moved forward, they discovered something astonishing—
A massive, ancient underground library.
Famoura walked toward a cupboard and picked up a book. As she opened it, the words inside appeared and disappeared, making it impossible to read.
They continued further.
And then—
Famoura finally found the book she had been searching for over a year.
"History of the Felòenz Family."
As she reached out to open it—
Behind her, Anthony and Elizabeth started arguing. In the chaos, Anthony accidentally stepped on Victor. Annoyed, Victor pushed him, and Anthony pushed back—
The force hit Famoura.
The book slipped from her hands and fell to the ground with a loud sound.
Suddenly, a deep, terrifying voice echoed through the darkness—
"Who is there?"
Everyone stepped back in fear.
But Famoura stood still.
In the darkness, two glowing eyes appeared. Slowly, a small, horrifying creature emerged—about three feet tall, bald, with long ears and bat-like wings. It looked thin… and terrifying.
"You are spying on us," the creature said.
Elizabeth trembled in fear, but Victor gently covered her eyes.
"Don't be scared."
Famoura stepped forward calmly.
"You've misunderstood. I'm sorry for disturbing you… but may I know your name?"
"Silence!" the creature snapped angrily.
With a wave of his hand, the fallen book rose back to its place using magic.
"I am a Vampyr. There are many like me here. Leave immediately. I am giving you a chance."
Famoura hesitated, then spoke,
"Could you please give me that book—History of the Felòenz Family?"
"These are not children's books," the Vampyr said sharply. "Leave now."
Her friends pleaded,
"Famoura, please… let's go. This place is dangerous."
But Famoura stood firm.
"Please… trust us just once."
The Vampyr's eyes glowed brighter.
"This is no ordinary library. This is the Evigheden Library—a place that exists beyond time. It means forever… infinite… without beginning or end. No one knows about this place."
Famoura's eyes widened.
"Thank you for telling me… can you help us further?"
The Vampyr grew furious.
"You refuse to listen. Leave now—or I will erase your memories of this place."
He raised his hand to cast a spell.
At that moment, Edward grabbed Famoura's hand.
"Run!"
Everyone ran as fast as they could.
They climbed up just in time—
And as they reached the top, everything returned to normal, as if nothing had ever happened.
The magic that was meant to erase their memories…
somehow failed.
And they survived.
