After returning to Hogwarts, Ron couldn't wait to divulge everything to Harry.
"What should I do, Harry?" Ron muttered, "What if Umbridge finds out I attacked her, what should I do then?"
"Don't worry." Harry said with a cheerful smile, "I can guarantee Umbridge won't pursue this matter—"
"Why?" Ron asked curiously.
"It's too embarrassing." Harry sighed, "You know, being attacked by a student for the first time at Hogwarts can be considered a coincidence, but if it happens twice, that's... a bit..."
"A bit what?" Ron asked.
"Too weak to be a professor." Harry shrugged, "Anyway, I don't think she'll do anything to you, plus you wore the Invisibility Cloak the whole time, and the twins sandwiched you in the middle to keep you from being discovered, so don't worry, you're quite safe."
"Well, that's good." Ron said, wiping his sweat.
Indeed, it seemed as if Umbridge had never experienced this incident.
And the investigation reports she conducted in various classes were never made public, as if she had never investigated Hogwarts.
The matter was almost forgotten, and everyone went to class as usual. Ron attended four Quidditch practices, and during the last two, he didn't receive any loud scolding from Angelina.
Then, on a windy night at the end of September, the three of them sat in the library researching ingredients for Snape's Magic Potion, and the topic was brought up again.
"I'm really curious," Hermione suddenly said, "why is Umbridge acting as if nothing happened? Isn't she planning her next move?"
"I suspect she has already forgotten." Ron said, sipping water, "Isn't it a good thing? It's better than her picking on everyone at Hogwarts, right? Isn't that right, Harry?"
"That's true." Harry shrugged, "But the problem is, Umbridge is like a snake in the dark, you still have to be wary of when she might suddenly bite you."
Hermione looked up and said, "You know, the first weekend of October we're going to Hogsmeade? Why don't we invite some friends for a little visit to Pig's Head Inn?"
"Why Pig's Head Inn?" Ron asked.
"Because," Hermione replied, continuing to copy the chart of Chinese Biting Kale, "because Abufosi Dumbledore is the owner of Pig's Head Inn, I want to get to know him—Harry, do you know Dumbledore the owner?"
"Abufosi? Yeah, I'm familiar with him." Harry laughed.
Of course, Harry knew him, Abufosi was determined to break Harry and Vivi apart back then, claiming Vivi was the evil Grindelwald.
It's quite interesting to think about it.
"Of course." Hermione said again, "There's another reason to go to Pig's Head Inn, we've arranged for all fifth-year classmates to conduct a semester review activity on that day, right? Harry? That's Harry's request, he'll check everyone's study progress there."
"But it's a vacation." Ron scratched his head, "Do the classmates all agree?"
"What's there to refuse?" Hermione spread her hands, "Isn't this also a leisure activity? Of course, not inside the inn, but first have a drink inside the inn, review the academic progress, and then go out for a practical test."
Ron pondered for a moment, then raised his head and drew a cross on his chest—he wasn't a Christian, but at that moment, he wanted to pray for his classmates.
Hopefully, everyone doesn't go too hard on each other to avoid ending up in the school hospital.
On the morning they went to Hogsmeade Village, the weather was clear but windy.
After breakfast, they formed a long line in front of Fitch, who had to check their names against the long list, which listed the students whose parents or guardians allowed them to visit Hogsmeade Village.
The parent's signature Harry held was from the Dursley family—nowadays the Dursley family was doing quite well... it could be said they had achieved a complete class transition, Uncle Vernon had started his own company and was earning substantial profits.
Of course, to show his gratitude to Harry, Uncle Vernon also bought him a spacious apartment in the best location in London, and a villa in the suburb.
When Ron approached Fitch, the caretaker sniffed hard, as if trying to pick up a scent from Ron.
Then he nodded briefly, and the flesh under his chin trembled again, Ron continued forward, stepping onto the stone steps and into the cold but sunny outdoors.
"Hmm—why was Fitch sniffing you so hard?" Hermione asked as she, Harry, and Ron were marching with light steps down the wide road leading to the gate.
"I guess he was trying to smell if there was any dungbomb odor," Ron said with a grin, "I ordered a lot of dungbombs from Fred and George. You know, he really doesn't like the little gadgets from Fred and the others, especially dungbombs, these things are terribly tricky to clean off the corridor."
"Why did you buy such things?" Hermione asked suspiciously.
"Just for fun." Ron gave Hermione a strange look, "You didn't really think I'd buy them to eat, did you?"
"It's not impossible." Harry, on the side, made a sarcastic comment.
"Get lost." Ron said with a laugh.
They walked down the road, passing Zoko's Joke Shop—unsurprisingly, they saw Fred, George, and Lee Jordan there, and as they passed the post office, every now and then, some owls would fly out from inside.
